‘Blue Beetle’ Director Deletes Tweet Wishing Assassination On President Donald Trump, Claims Puerto Rico Is A “Slave Colony”

So the director of the recently flopped "Blue Beetle" is a Puerto Rican guy named Ángel Manuel Soto and he recently deleted a tweet where he he hoped that President Donald Trump would be assassinated like President Abraham Lincoln. In a tweet from August 7th, 2018, Soto wrote, “The only thing I hope Trump has similar to Lincoln’s presidency is the way it ended.”

Well as we all know those who against Trump seem to have BAD LUCK find them, and this being Angel Sotos big film and it being such a major flop is his Karma coming back. He wished DEATH on Trump and his movie DIED at the box office. Sweet justice if you ask me. The movie was garbage by the way. I didn't pay to see it but did see it, and it is a horrible movie, and this director should NEVER be hired again. But this is why the WB and other companies like them are in such problems right now.

They hire woke morons who don't know reality or facts and they make these horrible movies. This guy who clearly is an idiot member of the  progressive socialist movement in Hollywood, and is of the "WOKE" crowd as you can clearly see below.

As you know the studios now go OUT of the way to hire these leftists, woke people or gang to make bad movies and then tell us how great they are. Like we stupid right?

The deletion of the tweet not only came after Lofti Pixels shared it to social media, but came after Soto was criticized for including George Lopez’s “Batman is a fascist” line at the end of the Blue Beetle trailer.

YouTuber Ryan Kinel criticized the conclusion of the line saying, “At the end, the Batman is fascist. This is pandering to these stupid f***ing 20 year-old free profile picture she/them don’t know what your f***ing gender is, don’t buy comics, don’t have money to go to movies. That’s who that f***ing s**t is pandering to.”

“‘Batman is a fascist.’ F*** off with that. That’s so stupid.”

His criticism would be clipped and shared to Twitter by CBMovieFan who wrote, “George Lopez saying “Batman is a Fascist” has this mf riled up” “George Lopez” can blow hard as he's been known to hate Trump like he's responsible for all the issues in the world. But look not too long ago Lopez before he had Hollywood he had to hate Trump.

 
The user added, “I need more lines like that from the movie if they’re freaking out like this.” Not only did Soto previously hope for the assassination of Donald Trump, but he also claimed that Puerto Rico is a “slave colony.” Now they going to blame Trump for that also? Remember when they said Trump had NOT helped the Puerto Rican people when the hurricane hit? That was a complete lie... Check out the proof here.

He tweeted back in August 2018, “Puerto Rico is a slave colony of the USA. Your passport was impossed on us, so there is nowhere else to go afer your country shits on my land and blame us for the stink. F*** you.” 

Here is the Puerto Rican MAYOR San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz who withheld goods from the Puerto Rican people shipped there by the Trump Administration before he got there. She didn't want to hand it to the people in need because eh wanted to make TRUMP look bad. But the moron spoke in public and she like an idiot allowed this visual behind her to be there. Now being I myself am from Cuba and have had a lifetime of knowing a lot of people from PR know that a lot of them are leftist, communist & socialist loving & voting liberals.



This woman said, “maybe Mr. Trump should do something about Puerto Rico’s debt, rather than just talking about it.” First off he was just elected during her making these comments which came as the new President during his press conference in San Juan, Trump cavalierly spoke about “getting rid of Puerto Rico’s debt,” which caused an anxious flurry of activity among the island’s bond-holders; in the days that have followed. The media also tried to shame Trump using a picture which shows Trump throwing paper towel rolls into the crowd while he delivered aid and supplies to Puerto Rico. 

Trump does this on a lot of occasions it's his way of lightening the mood. The people in the video didn't seem to mind and were all enjoying the moment loving TRUMP! These are the people of Puerto Rico. Once again the MEDIA turned an innocent moment into a sinister one with lies, and manipulation, and the Pelosi "Wrap up Smear" for folks now seemed like TRUMP was also responsible for the bad horrible which HIT Puerto Rico according to the way the major was speaking. These leftist morons never learn, and the once like her, and the Blue Beetle director are products of Socialism, HATE, and Racist communism against the same country that they beg for when they need it. 

Ironic they blame Trump and the Right yet the real reason why they're in poverty and in ruins is because they're either blind or brain washing thinking voting democrat will help them... Soto appeared to beg members of the media and potential moviegoers during a Q&A session at a trailer launch. IGN reported Soto told them and other members of the media, “If you’ll help us and this movie becomes a massive f***ing hit, we’re going to see a lot of those [characters]. That’s what needs to happen.” Well while Blue Beetle is a dope comic book I'm a fan off the comics, and the main actor the movie itself was garbage, and it flopped thankfully so. This guy doesn't deserve a career as a movie director, and hope he ends up blackballed from directing and is never seen or heard from again. Time to stamp out these communist/socialist hating racists out of Hollywood.

Soto added, “If we want to see more variety and really celebrate differences, celebrate culture, celebrate other worlds because it’s fun. The lores are so spectacular. The only way is by supporting movies. Supporting a movie like this.” I'm Latino and I will never in my life support this guy and his views. While I want to see more Latino based films, and comic book characters like Blue Beetle once again I cannot endorse someone tho said the crap this guy said... Cannot do it. He belongs investigated for his words can be viewed as someone who might act out on his wishes. There are those sorts of people in the world who will do that. 

Now let's compare Trump who went to PR brought goods in and didn't lie in using stories which are based on lies, and did nothing but give an initial reply of "NO COMMENT" like JOE Biden did recently to Maui. The discovery of cocaine near the West Wing of the White House!

So this past week we found out about a "discovery of cocaine near the West Wing" and this isn't the show I'm speaking about but that of the real White House where a big party was held, and yes the once VP Joe Biden son was there Hunter Biden and well we all know of his love for "Crack Cocaine" but this was said to be a powder not a rock. But this is like tomato tomato I mean can't smoke it there right? Snorting it I'm sure is not against his drug abuse rules at this point.

But it looks like this is causing a political headache for ex Vice President Joe Biden (You know the guy who claims he's now President... HA!), leaving him exposed to criticisms from his GOP opponents while raising concerns about security at the complex.

Officials inside his Administration have been fielding uncomfortable questions this week about how cocaine got into the White House amid a Secret Service which checks everyone for anything like weapons or Drugs. So they claim an investigation into the matter is being done. LMAO!

Meanwhile, media chatter about the discovery is overshadowing what the White House wishes the focus could be on instead: glimmers of hope in the economy, NATO and other domestic and foreign issues it sees as far more pressing.

“I’m sure it’s incredibly frustrating. This is also the struggle with any White House. You plan and you plan and you plan and you have perfect events and the perfect schedule and something unexpected is thrown into the mix,” said a Democratic strategist and aide in a previous administration. But seriously how un expected is this when you have coke/crack addicts in the white house?

The story has been dominating television news since the discovery Sunday inside a work area of the West Wing, which led to a precautionary closure of the White House complex, according to administration officials. The Secret Service confirmed Wednesday that the substance was cocaine.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre spent much of that day’s briefing fielding question after question about the discovery, with few additional details to share other than the Secret Service would “get to the bottom of this.”

Conservative media, however, opted to associate the cocaine found to the president’s son Hunter Biden, who has had a history of drug use, despite there being as they said "no such links" just pure dumb luck I guess? LOL That's some luck Hunter is there and so is "cocaine" I mean COME ON! Oh man this sort of comedy doesn't write itself folks...

Neither Hunter nor Joe Biden were at the White House that day so they claim as normal the media turned this into a chance to try and involve President Trump by saying that "meanwhile Trump, lashed out at the media for its coverage" because he questioned: “Does anybody really believe that the COCAINE found in the West Wing of the White House, very close to the Oval Office, is for the use of anyone other than Hunter & Joe Biden.” One source close to the administration, however, said it was handling the situation “very well.”

“It’s all political fodder right now, political bull s***,” the source said. LMAO!  “I think it’s comical. Of course, you’re going to do what you need to do. Any time the opposition has a way to lean in and provide some type of antidote or response that’s going to get people wired up (Good... Nice choice of word there "Wired" when dealing with cocaine! HA!) they’re going to do so,” the source added.

When asked about Trump’s comments, the White House hammered into the president’s top political rival. “I have noticed there does seem to be some increasing frustration coming from that corner in general and I think it is probably rooted in the contrast between their substantive policy efforts,” said White House spokesman Andrew Bates. “There is a long list of areas where this administration succeeded for the middle class where our predecessor did not.”

Bates then tried to bring the conversation back to what the White House wants to focus on, namely their “Bidenomics” agenda that they have pushed out for the last two weeks. Which is laughable since it's all build on lies. So let's keep over looking the Biden's drug use and keep with more lies? OK!

The questions came as the president was headed to South Carolina for a speech on the economy and his investments in clean energy. On Wednesday, the president met with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson at the White House in a show of support for Sweden joining  NATO by the deadline of the summit next week. 

But, the news cycle stayed hooked on the cocaine story... 

The White House has stressed that they are taking the investigation seriously but that it is in the hands of the Secret Service. The White House did not respond to a request for comment about whether dealing with the discovery of cocaine is distracting from other topics. “I respect there’s interest in this,” Bates told reporters Thursday. 

Jean-Pierre repeatedly noted Wednesday that the drugs were found in a highly traveled area of the White House and that the president and his family including Hunter Biden were at Camp David at the time.

But even by Thursday, drawing such a conclusion kept the chatter going. Trump’s former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany broke with her former boss, saying there is “no way” the cocaine belonged to the younger Biden considering he wasn’t at the White House.

“There is no way, it is inconceivable to think cocaine could sit for a 72-hour period [at The White House], so I would rule him out at this point,” she said Thursday on Fox. Which she is wrong if he left it behind 3 days before and let's say he hid it somewhere to not have it on him but forgot to go get it as he left which is often the case with Hunter and leaving things he forgets about when high. LIKE A LAPTOP! I mean has she learned NOTHING from Hunter? She's proving to be some what Naïve in this matter. As coke/crackheads have lapses in memory and often forget where they stash something in emergency.

Hunter Biden spotted at WH after possible cocaine found in West Wing

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) responded to the incident by writing a letter to the Secret Service, demanding details on whether anyone has access to the White House complex without passing through security and if the Secret Service has encountered illegal drugs in the past five years.  House Republicans have already launched probes into Hunter Biden and whether he got preferential treatment during the investigation into his failure to pay taxes, and the GOP are likely to keep hammering away at the incident when they return to Washington next week.

Amid the public focus on the cocaine situation, Biden allies argue that the White House is doing the right thing by letting the Secret Service handle it. Because they done a great job so far by letting it get past them to start with right? Lol “Every president has faced a host of embarrassing events for which they’ve had no control. This just happens to be one such event,” said former Rep. Chris Carney (D-Pa.).

Carney, a senior policy adviser at Nossaman LLP, added that it’s the best move for the White House “to let the Secret Service do an unfettered investigation, make a report, and take any measures deemed necessary.”

Conservative media has used Hunter Biden’s frequent appearances at high-profile events at the White House as well as his traveling with the president as part of the argument for why the cocaine may have belonged to him. Biden allies say that connection was inevitable no matter the circumstances.

“I’m not sure there’s anything anybody could say who would prevent the conservative social media world from being whipped into this frenzy. No facts matter to them so what does one say,” said the Democratic strategist and aide in a previous administration. “Regardless of what the investigation shows at the end of the day, there are those who come from that world who will say something is being covered up.” 

The White House has dodged questions over how transparent they would be about any conclusions to the investigation or if the culprit could ever be determined, exposing Biden to further GOP attacks as he heads into 2024. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who is trailing Trump in the Republican presidential primary, took a jab at Biden over the situation, but left his son Hunter Biden out of his remarks. “I’ve long believed, I think a lot of us have believed that the Biden administration’s been blowing it on a lot of fronts,” the presidential hopeful said. “But I guess it’s a little bit more literal than even I had thought.”

Prosecutors will not recommend charging Matt Gaetz in sex-trafficking investigation, report says 

Finally Prosecutors speak on the case with Matt Gaetz and as it turns out they will not recommend charging GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz in the Justice Department’s investigation into if the Florida congressman violated federal sex-trafficking laws, according to The Washington Post.

Citing anonymous sources, The Post reported that prosecutors were concerned with the credibility of two key witnesses and think they’d be unlikely to secure a conviction if they indicted Gaetz. Justice Department officials typically take the advice of career prosecutors but haven’t made a final decision on the matter yet, the report said.

According to NBC News, prosecutors were examining if the congressman committed three separate crimes: if he sex-trafficked a 17-year-old; if he violated the Mann Act, which prohibits the transportation of “any woman or girl for the purpose of prostitution or debauchery, or for any other immoral purpose” across state lines; and if he obstructed justice.

The existence of the investigation first became public last year, when The New York Times reported that investigators were examining if Gaetz had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old in 2019 and paid for her to travel with him.

One person familiar with the conversations told The Times that Gaetz told some women to say that he paid for dinners and hotel rooms as part of their dates if anyone asked about the nature of their relationships. The FBI executed a search warrant in late 2020 and seized Gaetz’s cell phone, as well as a phone belonging to his former girlfriend, who testified before a federal grand jury earlier this year. Matt Gaetz has denied wrongdoing and said last year that the allegations were part of an “organized criminal extortion” scheme against him. Last month, the Florida businessman Stephen Alford was sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to attempting to extort Gaetz and his father for $25 million.

“Those who told lies about Congressman Matt Gaetz are going to prison, and Congressman Matt Gaetz is going back to Congress to continue fighting for America,” a spokesperson for Gaetz’s office told Insider.

Sandy Hook Families File Another Lawsuit Against Alex Jones from INFO WARS!

More problems for Alex Jones as another Sandy Hook lawsuit ha’s been filed against him… As the saying goes when it rains it pours, and for Jones it’s been coming down hard these days for the comments made when Sandy Hook happened, and since. Now families of multiple victims of the shooting accused Infowars founder Alex Jones of hiding millions to avoid paying damages stemming from defamation suit he recently lost.

The families of nine victims asked in a court filing that Jones relinquish control of Free Speech Systems, alleging he’s “systematically transferred millions of dollars” to himself and others to hide money from the families.

The filing reads:

Since the Sandy Hook Families filed their lawsuits, the Debtor has systematically transferred millions of dollars to Alex Jones and his relatives and insider entities. It claims to owe a massive, secured debt to an insider that was first documented as a loan when the Sandy Hook Families were securing key wins in Connecticut and Texas, but no records show that an actual debt existed before the Sandy Hook Families sued. The filing requests an independent committee be appointed to investigate the financial state of Jones’ company and to “ensure transparency, accountability and maximize the Debtor’s Estate for all creditors.” A bankruptcy trustee would also take control of Free Speech Systems.

Jones was ordered to pay nearly $50 million earlier this month in damages to Sandy Hook families after entertaining a conspiracy theory on his show that the Sandy Hook shooting, which claimed the lives of more than 20, never actually happened. In the years since, Jones has acknowledged the shooting did occur.

A lawyer for Jones said he would be filing a response to the new motion soon, according to the New York Times. Jones’ Free Speech Systems filed for bankruptcy last month, though lawyers for the Sandy Hook families deny that the company is actually bankrupt. “Alex Jones is not financially bankrupt; he is morally bankrupt, which is becoming more and more clear as we discover his plots to hide money and evade responsibility,” Kyle Farrar, a lawyer for the families, said.

Rep. Liz Cheney loses her primary in Wyoming to Trump-backed challenger!!

Trump vowed revenge for Cheney’s vote last year to impeach him and her work on the House committee investigating him. Neither endeared her to GOP voters in the state. Now she’s on her way out! Rino Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., a onetime House GOP leader and a daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, was ousted in a Republican primary Tuesday night, NBC News projects. Former President Donald Trump’s name wasn’t on the ballot, but his shadow eclipsed the contest as he sought revenge for Cheney’s vote last year to impeach him and her work on the committee investigating his behavior leading up to the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. His hand-picked challenger, Harriet Hageman, defeated Cheney in a multi-candidate race.

With 80% of the vote counted before midnight, Hageman was leading Cheney by more than 32 points. But the result didn’t put an end to hostilities between Trump and Cheney. Instead, she vowed to escalate them. “This primary election is over,” Cheney told her supporters, drawing a clear contrast between her acceptance of the outcome and Trump’s ongoing refusal to admit he lost the 2020 election. “But now the real work begins.”

Without elaborating on specific plans for her future, she emphasized that Trump, who is likely to seek the presidency again in 2024, is at the center of them. “We must be very clear-eyed about the threat we face,” she said, repeating a previous pledge to “do whatever it takes to ensure that Donald Trump is never again anywhere near the Oval Office.”

In congratulating Hageman, Trump swiped at Cheney in a message posted on his Truth Social media platform late Tuesday.

“This is a wonderful result for America, and a complete rebuke of the Unselect Committee of political Hacks and Thugs,” he wrote, referring to the House committee investigating Jan. 6. “Liz Cheney should be ashamed of herself, the way she acted, and her spiteful, sanctimonious words and actions towards others. Now she can finally disappear into the depths of political oblivion where, I am sure, she will be much happier than she is right now.”

Hageman, in her victory speech, said the result showed that Republicans will “hold our elected officials accountable for their actions” — an allusion to Cheney’s tangles with Trump. “What Wyoming has shown today is that, while it may not be easy, we can dislodge entrenched politicians who believe they’ve risen above the people they are supposed to represent,” Hageman told her supporters. On one level, Wyoming is all but certain to trade out one Republican congresswoman for another in November. But this particular race proved an epic clash between the new and old establishments of the Republican Party, as well as competing visions of the future of the GOP and the republic.

With her parents in the audience, Cheney spoke about her deep ties to the Republican Party but said, “I love my country more.” Cheney’s battles with Trump cost her her spot in House Republican leadership last year and now her seat, but it also provided her with an elevated platform, a monster fundraising profile and the respect of some Democrats who reviled her father.

The split-screen images of Cheney — losing popularity at home, while her profile rose nationally — have sparked questions about whether she will seek the presidency or slip into another role that keeps her at the forefront of the bipartisan anti-Trump set.

In her concession speech, Cheney compared herself to Abraham Lincoln, a Republican who lost a Senate race before he won the presidency, ended slavery and won the Civil War. Cheney is the final Republican to fall to a Trump-backed primary challenger after having voted to impeach him. Four of the 10 opted to retire, three have already lost primaries, and two survived primaries. In one of those two contests, Trump didn’t endorse a challenger. Unbowed by her loss, she compared Trump’s attacks on federal law enforcement after last week’s search of his Mar-a-Lago home to his actions before Jan. 6. “Donald Trump knows that voicing these conspiracies will provoke violence and threats of violence,” she said. “It is entirely foreseeable that the violence will escalate further.”

Some of Donald Trump’s closest allies reacted with fury to the news of the FBI searching Mar-a-Lago, vowing swift political retaliation should Republicans take control of the House after the 2022 midterm elections or the White House after the 2024 presidential election.

The House minority leader Kevin McCarthy, who is poised to become the House Speaker in the event of Republicans retaking the House majority, said in a statement posted on Twitter that the raid was evidence of politicization at the justice department.

The Department of Justice has reached an intolerable state of weaponized politicization. When Republicans take back the House, we will conduct immediate oversight of this department, follow the facts, and leave no stone unturned,” McCarthy said.

Attorney General Garland, preserve your documents and clear your calendar.”

The statement was greeted with some mockery in Washington on Monday night, with a number of former justice department officials and congressional aides noting that the attorney general already testifies before Congress every year as part of regular oversight hearings. But McCarthy’s position represented a wider outrage among Trump-allied conservatives, including top Trump advisor Steve Bannon, who denounced the FBI as the ‘deep state’ – even though the warrant was court-approved and the current FBI Director Christopher Wray was appointed by Trump.

They’re absolutely petrified that Trump’s going to announce [that he will run for the presidency in 2024] in the next couple of weeks, win the Republican nomination, win the White House,” Bannon said on Fox News.

The FBI right now is the Gestapo … We’re going to have to fight fire with fire. The way to do it is to win elections, win them overwhelmingly and use the appropriations process to choke down the FBI and choke down the Justice Department and get to the bottom of who approved this. This is so outrageous. It needs to be investigated.”

R. Kelly sentenced to 30 years in prison

The man who sang about being “Trapped in the closet” Mr R. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison in a Brooklyn federal court on Wednesday after being convicted of racketeering and sex trafficking in September 2021. US District Judge Ann Donnelly sentenced Kelly after she and the court heard statements from the victims. She also ordered him to pay a $100,000 fine, The Associated Press reports. The singer, who has been jailed since 2019, faces separate charges of child pornography and obstruction of justice in a federal case in Chicago, where a trial is set for August 1.

Grand jury investigating Donald Trump for criminal charges to end: Sources

So after months and Millions of space bucks or um tax payer money the special grand jury that had been hearing evidence in the criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump expires at the end of the week and will not be extended, sources familiar with the matter confirmed to the news circus.

The special grand jury was empaneled last fall, but had stopped hearing evidence once Alvin Bragg became district attorney in Manhattan in January, raising questions about the strength of the case and whether prosecutors had amassed all the elements required to prove it.

The two senior prosecutors who had been leading the investigation, Mark Pomerantz and Cary Dunne, resigned in February. Pomerantz said in his resignation letter he believed Trump “is guilty of numerous felony violations.” Mr Trump has denied wrongdoing.

The district attorney’s office declined to confirm or deny the decision not to extend the special grand jury, which was first reported by Communist News Network. Grand juries can always be called upon to hear evidence and weigh the return of an indictment and a new special grand jury could always be empaneled.

A spokeswoman for Bragg declined to comment and instead pointed to a statement the district attorney issued earlier this month that insisted the criminal investigation remained active.

“The team working on this investigation is comprised of dedicated, experienced career prosecutors. They are going through documents, interviewing witnesses, and exploring evidence not previously explored,” Bragg said in a statement said earlier this month. “In the long and proud tradition of white-collar prosecutions at the Manhattan D.A.’s Office, we are investigating thoroughly and following the facts without fear or favor.”

The district attorney’s office fought successfully for access to Trump’s personal and business tax returns as part of the investigation into how he valued his assets. The New York attorney general is conducting a parallel civil investigation.

The case has already resulted in tax charges against the Trump Organization and its chief financial officer Allan Weisselberg over perks paid to certain executives. Each has pleaded not guilty.

CBS News Uncovers Over 150 Banking Transactions Involving Hunter or James Biden ‘Flagged as Concerning’ A new report says more than 150 financial transactions of two Biden family members raised bankers’ eyebrows.

CBS News reported that more than 150 financial transactions involving either President Joe Biden’s son or his brother were “flagged as concerning” by U.S. banks. The report Wednesday noted that simply because a transaction was flagged does not mean it was improper or illegal, only that it was reviewed. CBS News reported that it did not know the outcome of the review of any of the transactions.

CBS News senior investigative correspondent Catherine Herridge said one reason transactions are reviewed is to determine whether there has been an effort to hide the source of the transactions.

She said the amounts of various transactions and their frequency can also make a bank want to ask questions of the account holder to determine what is going on. Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa told CBS News he believes James Biden was “instrumental” in Hunter Biden’s business activities in China.

“I think James Biden was very much a part of this,” Grassley said. James Biden’s company, the Lion Hall Group, received money from what the report said was a Chinese-financed group in 2018.

Grassley noted that monthly retainer fees from a Chinese group amounted to $100,000 for Hunter Biden and $65,000 for James Biden, according to CBS News. “So, what this tells us is that Hunter Biden and James Biden linked up with companies connected to the communist regime to assist them with finding projects for global and domestic infrastructure and energy,” the senator said in prepared remarks when he presented his findings last week.

“We have people with the Biden name dealing with Chinese business people that have a relationship to the Communist Party,” he said. “I think it’s very concerning.” Grassley agreed with a comment from Herridge that the records he has been reviewing have “come directly from the banks,” with “no third party” involved.

CBS News noted that a federal subpoena sought bank records from Hunter Biden and James Biden going back to 2014. “I think Hunter and James Biden should not have entered into those relationships,” Robert Weissman, president of the advocacy group Public Citizen, said. “In the best case, those things look really bad. In the worst case, the consequences can be quite serious,” he said.

“To the extent those occurred while Joe Biden was the vice president, there’s a worry that they hope to get something direct from the Obama administration,” he said. Weissman said concerns do not end when Joe Biden was no longer vice president because there was concern over “investing in these family members to get future benefits in the possibility that Joe Biden would become president later on.” Grassley said new records show that Hunter Biden and an executive of a Chinese firm applied jointly for a $99,000 line of credit in 2017.

“These records we got are the first records that have ever been made public on this issue. Nobody else has them,” the senator said. “These years of records show that Hunter Biden and James Biden were more connected to the communist regime’s elements than had been previously known,” he said in his remarks last week.

Biden looks weak in the eyes of the world at press conference marking first year in office!

He says he didn’t overpromise! No he just over lied like he normally does… This man is a national embarrassment. Again Biden was adamant he hadn’t “overpromised” in his first year in office as he held his first press conference of 2022 on Wednesday, but he acknowledged that one of his signature pieces of legislation, Build Back Better, must be downsized in order to get parts of it through Congress. This from the same moron who said he would cure cancer, and end the Covid pandemic. Two things he has yet to do.

“It’s pretty clear to me that we will need to break it up,” Mr. Biden said.

During the almost two-hour press conference, Mr. Biden also defended Vice President Kamala Harris and affirmed that she would be on the ticket in 2024, despite the rash of negative headlines she has weathered as she is by far the worst VP this nation has ever had. This and Biden being the worst President makes us look weak to our enemies, and a not of any help to our nations allies who need us now more than ever.

“I did put her in charge (of voting rights) and I think she’s doing a good job,” Mr. Biden said. One of the many lies he said while standing up there looking like a lost old man. One who’s mind is made of Alpo dog food from the looks of it. His press conference coincided with remarks by Senator Joe Manchin, one of the two Democrats blocking the legislation – he was speaking on the Senate floor about his objection to a rules change that would allow Democrats to pass voting rights legislation with only 50 votes.

In addition to his stalled legislation in the Senate, Mr. Biden’s press conference is being held as a CBS News poll released Sunday showed he had a 44% approval rating, and 50% of Americans are “frustrated” by his presidency so far.

The president, who was defiant during portions of the press conference, said he doesn’t “believe the polls.” On Afghanistan, which marked the start of the decline in his approval numbers, Mr. Biden said “there is no way to get out of Afghanistan after 20 years easily. Not possible no matter when you did it. And I make no apologies for what I did.” How about saying you were wrong when you called the US drone strike that killed children, and civilians? Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has said the midterm elections will be Mr. Biden’s “report card” on handling of the economy, immigration, and more, Mr. Biden told CBS News’ Nancy Cordes that his report card will be “pretty good.”

Mr. Biden said McConnell, who has kept all 50 Republicans in lock step against the president’s agenda, has said he would “do anything to prevent Biden from being a success.” As for the stalled voting rights legislation, Mr. Biden said he wasn’t prepared to discuss options like executive orders in detail.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has zeroed in on voting rights legislation, which is headed toward a doomed vote on Wednesday night. While the legislation has the support of all 50 Democrats, it would need 60 votes to move forward. Schumer has said he will push forward with a rules change to lower the threshold to 51 votes if it doesn’t pass, but Manchin and Senator Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona have both said they would not support the rules change, setting the vote up to fail.

On foreign policy, Mr. Biden said his “guess” is that Putin will invade Ukraine. Mr. Biden said Putin has “never seen” sanctions like the ones that would come if Russia further invades Ukraine.

Mr. Biden said the loss of life for Russians would be “consequential” if they further invade Ukraine. The president said he doesn’t think Putin wants a “full-blown war,” but said the Russian leader will test the U.S. and NATO as much as he can. Mr. Biden told reporters that he worries that the situation with Russia along the Ukrainian border “could get out of hand” because Ukraine borders several NATO countries.

“The only war that’s worse than one that’s intended is one that’s unintended,” Mr. Biden said.

The president said that he wants it to be clear to Putin that there will be “prices to pay that could in fact cost his country an awful lot.” Mr. Biden said if Putin invades Ukraine, it would be the “most consequential thing that’s happened in the world in terms of war and peace since World War II.”

Mr. Biden said he and Putin have previously talked about holding a summit “if there was reason to.” Mr. Biden was asked to clarify an earlier answer about the fairness of future elections if some states don’t reform their voting laws, and whether they in any way could be illegitimate if they don’t.

“Oh yeah I think it could easily be illegitimate,” Mr. Biden said, giving a hypothetical example of people saying the count was not legitimate and discarding votes after giving a hypothetical example from January 2021.

Criticism has been directed at public figures for using the term “Negro.” The Voice of America (VOA) reported in July 2020 that political operative Roger Stone, whose 40-month prison sentence was commuted by former President Trump, called Los Angeles-based black radio host Morris O’Kelly a “Negro” in an interview, prompting O’Kelly’s website to write, “Stone could have reached for any pejorative, but unfortunately went there,” adding that “Stone offered an unfiltered, unvarnished one-sentence expression of how he saw the journalist interviewing him.”

Our job market is recovering much faster than the national average, according to the new figures just released, and while The United States economy gained 194,000 jobs in the month of September, severely missing economists’ expectations. However, Florida alone gained 84,500 jobs during this period leading the nation in terms of the largest percentage increase. So while the rest of the country is facing record unemployment we’re not again thanks to our leadership. And I don’t mean Biden.

According to a statement from the office of Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL):

“Florida’s economy accelerated in September 2021, growing at three times the rate over the month compared to the nation. Overall for the month, Florida gained 84,500 total jobs, including nearly 73,000 private-sector jobs. This month marks 17 months of private-sector job growth, increasing by 5.6% over the year. Florida has experienced this magnitude of monthly private sector job growth on only four other occasions in the past 30 years.

In addition, Florida has experienced 11 consecutive months of labor force increases, adding 50,000 workers over the month. Florida’s labor force growth represents a 5.4% increase over-the-year, which is significantly higher than the national rate of 0.8%. In total, Florida has gained more than one million jobs since April 2020.

“We are outpacing the nation in job growth and job opportunities because businesses know that Florida will stand up for them,” said DeSantis in the release. “Despite tremendous national headwinds and economic uncertainty, Florida has reached a level of job growth only seen on four other occasions in the past 30 years. We will continue to work hard to keep Florida open, free and built for opportunity.”

DeSantis was one of the first governors to pull his state from enhanced federal unemployment checks funded by President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan. A recent report from the Foundation for Government Accountability — a Florida-based think tank seeking to reform welfare initiatives — confirms that DeSantis’ decision to end the handouts paid significant dividends for the state’s job market.

“From late May when Gov. DeSantis announced he was ending the $300 weekly unemployment bonus through late August, Florida employers hired nearly 1.3 million new workers,” the report says. “Nearly 400,000 of these new hires were recorded in the first three weeks following the unemployment bonus’s elimination. As the bonus ended, employers’ hiring rates spiked, allowing them to fill needed open jobs. For the first time in months, the number of unfilled positions in Florida began to decline in August, as more Floridians left unemployment and returned to work.”

More recently, DeSantis announced plans to call a special legislative session to address COVID-19 vaccine mandates an attempt to undermine the Biden administration’s pending vaccine requirements for private employers.

DOJ won't seek charges against officer Rusten Sheskey who shot Jacob Blake in Kenosha

Well now look at this folks we just found out that federal prosecutors announced Friday that they won’t file charges against officer Rusten Sheskey who shot Jacob Blake in Wisconsin last year. A shooting that sparked protests that led to the deaths of two men. Officer Sheskey shot Blake, who’s Black, during a domestic disturbance in Kenosha in August 2020. The shooting left Blake paralyzed from the waist down and sparked several nights of protests, some of which turned violent. An Illinois man shot three people, killing two of them, during one of the demonstrations.

State prosecutors decided not to file charges against Sheskey earlier this year after video showed that Blake, who was wanted on a felony warrant, was armed with a knife.

The U.S. Department of Justice launched its own investigation days after the shooting. The agency announced Friday that a team of prosecutors from its Civil Rights Division and the U.S. attorney’s office in Milwaukee reviewed police reports, witness statements, dispatch logs and videos of the incident, and determined there wasn’t enough evidence to prove Sheskey used excessive force or violated Blake’s federal rights.

“Accordingly, the review of this incident has been closed without a federal prosecution,” the Justice Department said in a news release.

The Blake family’s attorney, Ben Crump, didn’t immediately reply to a message seeking comment. Blake’s uncle Justin Blake, who has been acting as the family’s spokesman, also didn’t immediately respond to a message. The Justice Department’s findings dovetail with Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley’s determination in January that Sheskey could successfully argue that he fired in self-defense.

Sheskey and other officers encountered Blake after they responded to a call from a woman who reported that her boyfriend wasn’t supposed to be at her home. When they arrived at the scene the woman told them that Blake was trying to her kids and her SUV.

Blake fought the officers as they tried to take him into custody. Sheskey and another officer tried to shock him with their stun guns to no avail. Blake tried to get into the SUV with his young children in the backseat, prompting Sheskey to grab his shirt. Sheskey told investigators that he was afraid Blake would drive off with the children or use them as hostages. Graveley said video shows Blake turning toward Sheskey with a knife and made a motion toward the officer with the knife, prompting Sheskey to fire.

The shooting came three months after George Floyd died while white Minneapolis police officers restrained him. Black Lives Matter supporters flooded downtown Kenosha for several nights, with some demonstrators setting fire to buildings and cars. Gov. Tony Evers was forced to call in the National Guard.

Kyle Rittenhouse, of Antioch, Illinois, answered a local militia’s call to protect Kenosha businesses from looters and vandals during the third night of protests. He ended up shooting Joseph Rosenbaum, Anthony Huber and Gaige Grosskreutz, killing Rosenbaum and Huber and wounding Grosskreutz in the arm. All four men involved were white.

Prosecutors have charged Rittenhouse with multiple counts, including homicide. He has argued that he fired in self-defense after the three men attacked him. He’s set to stand trial next month. Conservatives frustrated with Black Lives Matter protests have rallied around Rittenhouse. They raised $2 million to cover his bail. Black Lives Matter supporters have painted him as a trigger-happy vigilante who made things worse in Kenosha by bringing a gun to the protests.
