His comments came as he is struggling with black voters and former President Donald Trump is gaining them. Hispanics or Latinos are another demographic struggling under Biden. “Among Hispanic voters, numbers were similar, especially among certain sub-groups. One in five (19%) of surveyed Hispanics experienced food insecurity. Younger Hispanics aged 18-24 (30%) were three times as likely to experience food insecurity than Hispanics aged 55-69 (11%). Also like African Americans surveyed, rural (29%) Hispanics were more likely to experience food insecurity, compared to urban (20%) and suburban (14%) Hispanics. Non-college educated (22%) Hispanics were twice as likely to have gone without food for more than twenty-four hours in the last month compared to college educated (10%) Hispanics,” the analysis said.

Grand jury investigating Donald Trump for criminal charges to end: Sources

So after months and Millions of space bucks or um tax payer money the special grand jury that had been hearing evidence in the criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump expires at the end of the week and will not be extended, sources familiar with the matter confirmed to the news circus.

The special grand jury was empaneled last fall, but had stopped hearing evidence once Alvin Bragg became district attorney in Manhattan in January, raising questions about the strength of the case and whether prosecutors had amassed all the elements required to prove it.

The two senior prosecutors who had been leading the investigation, Mark Pomerantz and Cary Dunne, resigned in February. Pomerantz said in his resignation letter he believed Trump “is guilty of numerous felony violations.” Mr Trump has denied wrongdoing.

The district attorney’s office declined to confirm or deny the decision not to extend the special grand jury, which was first reported by Communist News Network. Grand juries can always be called upon to hear evidence and weigh the return of an indictment and a new special grand jury could always be empaneled.

A spokeswoman for Bragg declined to comment and instead pointed to a statement the district attorney issued earlier this month that insisted the criminal investigation remained active.

“The team working on this investigation is comprised of dedicated, experienced career prosecutors. They are going through documents, interviewing witnesses, and exploring evidence not previously explored,” Bragg said in a statement said earlier this month. “In the long and proud tradition of white-collar prosecutions at the Manhattan D.A.’s Office, we are investigating thoroughly and following the facts without fear or favor.”

The district attorney’s office fought successfully for access to Trump’s personal and business tax returns as part of the investigation into how he valued his assets. The New York attorney general is conducting a parallel civil investigation.

The case has already resulted in tax charges against the Trump Organization and its chief financial officer Allan Weisselberg over perks paid to certain executives. Each has pleaded not guilty.

SO what’s the oldest trick in the political book? Well of course it’s to accuse your opponents of doing what you are actually doing yourself… This trick is older then our current fake President the Sniffler and thief Joe Biden. The trick persists because it works!! The gullible people hear the accusation and excuse the reality when it actually happens because “they all do it.” For example, the Kremlin accuses Ukraine of atrocities while Putin’s troops are actually committing them. The technique of accusing your opponent of what you are doing is variously attributed to Saul Alinsky in his handbook for radicals or to Marx, Lenin, or Hitler’s propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels. Regardless of who said it, it works.

President Joe Biden and his followers are past masters at using this technique. For example, prior to the 2020 election, Biden bragged about interfering in the justice system of Ukraine by threatening to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid unless they fired a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma, a company on whose board his son Hunter served. How to defang that prior to the election? Accuse former President Donald Trump of doing something similar asking Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to “dig up dirt” on Biden.

Any thinking person should take with a big grain of salt the drumbeat of accusations by Biden supporters that Trump is somehow a “threat to democracy.” Prior to the 2020 election, an erstwhile friend of mine in Florida told me that he was voting for Biden because “Trump wanted to put all of his political opponents in jail.” One searches the internet in vain for any reported case of the Trump administration trying to put any of its political opponents in jail. But my friend believed it because he had heard it repeated over and over.

On the other hand, the Democrats have put, or tried to put, numerous prominent Trump supporters in jail, including Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, and Steve Bannon, who was recently indicted. They have also if you remember been trying in New York for 2 years now tried to tie some sort of crime to Trump based on his taxes turning over a big fat nothing burger to the cost of over 100 Million Dollars which is being paid by us the tax payers. This waste of time, and money knows know end when it comes to them trying to destroy Trump but the left wouldn’t spend a couple of Millions on the WALL or giving us stimulus money when it was needed during the pandemic.

The latest is that they intend to go after a bigger fish next. A chorus of the usual suspects on the Left have been calling for a criminal indictment of Trump for his actions on January 6. The big news, however, is that word has been leaked anonymously to the New York Times that Biden himself wants the Department of Justice to indict Trump. But there is no based on why this would be done as Trump has done nothing worth of being arrested. So anyone who has been in Washington as long enough knows that’s how presidents give instructions to their subordinates in a way that preserves plausible deniability. The politics behind this Biden move are well-explained in a previous article in these pages by Scott McKay but there are also important legal implications that Scott does not discuss.

I won’t try to rehash all the facts about Trump’s actions on January 6, which I have previously criticized. There is, however, an important difference between speech that is protected by the First Amendment and inciting a riot. Trump’s speech on January 6, although regrettable and perhaps a blemish on his reputation in history, is almost certainly on the protected speech side of the legal line.

Under a 1969 Supreme Court precedent, Brandenburg v. Ohio, “the constitutional guarantees of free speech and free press do not permit a State to forbid or proscribe advocacy of the use of force or of law violation except where such advocacy is directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action and is likely to incite or produce such action.”

It is hard to imagine that a fair, unanimous jury would convict the former president beyond a reasonable doubt of advocating “the use of force,” or advocating a “law violation,” for a speech in which he specifically urged his supporters to “march[] over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

It is even harder to satisfy the second branch of the constitutional test that his actions must have been “directed,” i.e., intended, to produce “imminent lawless action.” His most inflammatory words were “We fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.” But those words too are very unlikely to satisfy the Supreme Court’s test that words have to be a clear and unequivocal call to imminent lawless acts or they are protected by the First Amendment.

The legal implications of Biden’s move to imprison his predecessor go even deeper than merely violating the Supreme Court’s interpretation of the First Amendment. Putting your political opponents in jail is a really bad idea if you want to preserve a functioning democracy. Among other reasons, it is almost certain to lead to retaliation in kind. I used to do a lot of work in Puerto Rico, and for years its two political parties took turns at investigating and putting one another in jail whenever control of government changed. This is also common in so-called “banana republics” (no offense to bananas intended), not to mention Putin’s habit of putting in jail those political opponents which he doesn’t bother to poison.

Before anyone indicts an ex-president who is currently the favorite to be the Republican nominee in 2024 and is running well ahead of both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in the polls let’s hope that cooler heads prevail and think about the long-term consequences for our democracy if they start the political equivalent of World War III. The result would be mutually assured destruction. It is not hard to imagine a retaliatory indictment of Biden for corruption when the Republicans next take over the White House. This is how a civil war could rise up again in our great land.

Texas social worker charged with 134 counts of election fraud!

MEXIA, Texas (KWTX) – Kelly Reagan Brunner, a social worker at the Mexia State Supported Living Center, has been charged with 134 counts in an election fraud investigation involving the registration of 67 of the facility’s residents, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced in a press release late Friday afternoon.

She’s accused of submitting voter registration applications for the 67 residents “without their signature or effective consent, while purporting to act as their agent,” Paxton said in the press release. Only a parent, spouse or child who’s a qualified voter of the county may act as an agent in registering voters and they must be appointed by the prospective voter to do so, Paxton said.

“None of the SSLC patients gave effective consent to be registered, and a number of them have been declared totally mentally incapacitated by a court, thereby making them ineligible to vote in Texas,” Paxton said. “Registering citizens to vote or to obtain mail ballots without their consent is illegal. It is particularly offensive when individuals purport to be champions for disability rights, when in reality they are abusing our most vulnerable citizens in order to gain access to their ballots and amplify their own political voice,” Paxton said.

Donald Trump's Doctor says he's 'no longer a transmission risk' but doesn't state if he has tested negative for COVID-19

On Saturday night, White House physician Dr. Sean Conley released a statement saying President Trump “is no longer considered a transmission risk to others.” While Conley did not state whether the president had tested negative for the COVID-19 virus, he highlighted that Trump had been “fever-free for well over 24 hours” and “sequential testing throughout his illness has demonstrated decreasing viral loads.” According to current CDC data, a mild to moderate COVID-19 case remains infectious no more than 10 days, whereas a severe to critical illness is likely to remain infectious no longer than 20 days.

President Trump to be discharged from Walter Reed hospital later today, he's doing better!

On Monday afternoon, President Trump announced that he will be leaving “the great Walter Reed Medical Center today at 6:30 P.M.” Following Trump’s announcement, Dr. Sean Conley said that the president has “met or exceeded” standard discharge protocol. Trump, whose oxygen levels are now normal, will get another dose of remdesivir before heading back to the White House. The president was taken to Walter Reed hospital on Friday and has been given various antiviral drug treatments including dexamethasone during his stay. So did Fauci get the sense that Trump was downplaying the virus to the public? “No, no, I didn’t. I didn’t get any sense that he was distorting anything,” he said. Woodward also said the president told him in February that he believed the virus was “deadly” adding further fuel to the media’s outrage cycle for the day.

The White House is pushing back, as it should. “When you are facing insurmountable challenges, it is important to express confidence, it is important to express calm,” White House spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany told breathless reporters Wednesday at the White House. “He makes clear that he doesn’t want to see chaos, by the way, which is the second part of the quote which you failed to read,” she continued, addressing a reporter who had read part of the quote.

“The president just days after having this discussion with Bob Woodward, said this from this podium, on March 30, he said, ‘I do want them to stay calm, we are doing a great job, if you look at the individual statements they are all true, stay calm, it will go away but it’s important to stay calm,’” the press secretary said. “So this president does what leaders do “good leaders” it’s stay calm and resolute at a time when you face an insurmountable challenge.”

That’s 100% correct, and it’s logical that that Trump would have told Woodward the virus was “deadly.” After all, that’s what he was being told by all of those faulty models and by his own experts, including, no doubt the good Doctor himself, Fauci.

They should be given a full apology, and their shouldn’t have been a single riot over this… You see folks The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) reported late last night on Wednesday 08/26/2020 that Jacob Blake, the man who was shot by a police officer in Kenosha this Sunday, did indeed have a weapon the floorboard of his car.

“Kenosha Police Department officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2800 block of 40th Street after a female caller reported that her boyfriend was present and was not supposed to be on the premises,” the department said. “During the incident, officers attempted to arrest Jacob S. Blake, age 29. Law enforcement deployed a taser to attempt to stop Mr. Blake, however the taser was not successful in stopping Mr. Blake.” Who had a “warrant for his arrest.”

“Mr. Blake walked around his vehicle, opened the driver’s side door, and leaned forward. While holding onto Mr. Blake’s shirt, Officer Rusten Sheskey fired his service weapon 7 times,” the department continued. The department said that officers immediately rendered aid to Blake, and did everything 100% by the book, and showed immidiate care.

“During the investigation following the initial incident, Mr. Blake admitted that he had a knife in his possession,” the department added. “DCI agents recovered a knife from the driver’s side floorboard of Mr. Blake’s vehicle. A search of the vehicle located no additional weapons.”

The department said that none of the police officers had body cameras on because the city did not provide the Kenosha Police Department with the equipment. All of the officers have been placed on administrative leave as the DCI continues its investigation. “When DCI is the lead investigating agency of a shooting involving a law enforcement officer, DCI aims to provide a report of the incident to the prosecutor within 30 days,” the statement concluded. “The prosecutor then reviews the report and makes a determination about what charges, if any, are appropriate. If the prosecutor determines there is no basis for prosecution of the law enforcement officer, DCI will thereafter make the report available to the public.”

The shooting quickly sparked Black Lives Matter riots in the city that resulted in businesses being destroyed, a church being burned to the ground, and cars being smashed. The situation became more severe on Tuesday night after shootings broke out in the city after Democrat Governor Tony Evers refused to accept federal assistance to help secure the streets of the city.

“Governor should call in the National Guard in Wisconsin,” Trump tweeted. “It is ready, willing, and more than able. End problem FAST!”

Local law enforcement in Wisconsin have told the White House they need at least 750 National Guard tonight. Governor Evers is only sending 250. Today, Mark Meadows called the Governor and offered 500 additional guard to meet the police needs.

Trump calls audience at his Bedminster golf club a 'peaceful protest'

At a surprise press briefing Friday at his private golf club in Bedminster, N.J., President Trump said his audience of well-to-do supporters was involved in a “peaceful protest” and therefore did not need to adhere to state coronavirus guidelines prohibiting large gatherings.

Trump was asked about his earlier assertion that the pandemic was “disappearing” by a reporter who noted that the crowd in attendance seemed to be violating New Jersey restrictions meant to slow the spread of the virus.

“You’re wrong on that because it’s a political activity and they have exceptions, political activity and it’s also a peaceful protest,” Trump responded.

Before the hastily called news conference began, members of Trump’s private club filed inside the room where the president was to speak, most of them not wearing masks.

Shortly before the president took to the podium, staffers distributed face masks to the attendees, many of whom had already been standing shoulder-to-shoulder inside for approximately half an hour.

As of Friday night, more than 161,000 Americans have died of COVID-19, which has sickened more than 4.9 million people here. This week New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy retightened restrictions on indoor gatherings in the state following a recent surge in coronavirus cases. The new guidelines prohibit indoor gatherings of more than 25 people.

“To me they pretty much look like they all have, pretty much all have masks on,” Trump continued. “You know you have an exclusion in the law. It says peaceful protest or political activity, right?”

In remarks ahead of questions from the press, Trump floated the idea of signing executive orders to extend unemployment insurance should a deal not be reached with Democrats in Congress, as well as one guaranteeing that insurance companies cover preexisting medical conditions, something that the Affordable Care Act already put in place.

The crowd at the event was largely silent as Trump spoke, but came to life when he suggested that they were actually there to protest what the president calls the “fake news.”

“I’d call it peaceful protests because they heard you were coming up and they know the news is fake,” Trump said to the applause of many of his supporters. “They understand it better than anybody.”
