NOT just truck drivers bringing in supplied got mad but a lot of major investors also see this as a major issue and will now remove themselves from New York.

Remember AOC didn't want AMAZON to open a location in the Bronx which would have helped the community with a lot of work, and income and would have been a big economy boom. Now this TRUMP thing with the other Democrats destroying NY and it's clear you vote Blue you become part of the banana republic too.

Anyway read the rest as this was very real and it's going to be a major issue in NEW YORK...... WAKE UP PEOPLE!

By Samantha Flom

Some real estate investors are losing interest in investing in the Big Apple after New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron’s staggering ruling last week in a civil fraud case against President Donald Trump.

President Trump and Trump Organization executives were ordered on Feb. 16 to pay $355 million in fines, plus interest, after Justice Engoron found them liable for inflating the values of their assets to obtain better rates from lenders and insurers.

The judge also barred the former president and his sons from managing their businesses in New York for three years.

“I’m shocked at this. I can’t even understand or fathom the decision at all. There’s no rationale for it,” “Shark Tank” investor Kevin O’Leary told Fox Business on Feb. 19.

The Canadian businessman, often called “Mr. Wonderful,” described New York as a “mega loser state” for business.

“New York was already a loser state, like California’s a loser state,” he said. “There are many loser states because of policy, high taxes, uncompetitive regulation. It was already on the top of the list of being a loser state. I would never invest in New York now.”

Instead, Mr. O’Leary said he would be looking to Oklahoma, North Dakota, and West Virginia for future investment opportunities.

“Those are winner states. They don’t do things like this.”

President Trump expressed appreciation for Mr. O’Leary’s comments in a post on his Truth Social platform. “Kevin O’Leary is so great, and tells it like it is,” he wrote. “Businesses will flee NYC & State after the Corrupt Judge’s ruling!” And at least one other investor is doing just that.

Grant Cardone, a private equity fund manager and owner of real estate investment firm Cardone Capital, said he was considering investing in New York before Justice Engoron’s ruling.

“CardoneCapital just started to research real estate investments in New York believing it was time to get into the market,” Mr. Cardone said in an X post. “After the over reach [sic.] by the judge in the Trump case & penalties imposed of $355M I told them team do NOT waste time in New York.”

The real estate mogul added that his companies would now be doubling their efforts in Florida, Arizona, Texas, and Tennessee instead.

Mr. Cardone’s comments follow his wife’s creation of a GoFundMe campaign to help raise the $355 million President Trump was fined. More than $660,000 has been raised in the four days since the fundraiser was launched.
“I stand unwaveringly with President Donald Trump in the face of what I see as unprecedented and unfair treatment by certain judicial elements in New York,” Elena Cardone wrote on the GoFundMe webpage. “The recent legal battles he faces are not just an attack on him but an attack on the very ideals of fairness and due process that every American deserves.”

Ms. Cardone also stressed that the purpose of the fundraiser was to defend not only the 45th president but all businesses against “a system that increasingly seeks to penalize dissent and curb our freedoms.”

President Trump’s latest fine adds to the more than $83 million in damages he was recently ordered to pay writer E. Jean Carroll in a defamation case over his denials that he sexually assaulted her. He has pledged to appeal both rulings as he simultaneously fends off four criminal indictments.

The former president maintains that all of his current legal troubles are nothing more than an attempt by Democrats to thwart his campaign to reclaim the White House.

In a Truth Social post, he reiterated that belief and called for an immediate end to “all political prosecutions” against him.

“I should not have to go through any fake prosecutions before the election, he wrote in all caps on Feb. 19. “This is communism, and a threat to democracy. Our country will not stand for it. Make America great again!!!

Jeff Bezos To Step Down As Amazon's CEO

Amazon founder Jeff “Bozo” Bezos will step down as the company’s CEO (chief executive officer) this summer, after more than a quarter-century at the helm of the retail, logistics and tech powerhouse. He will hand over the CEO reins to Andy Jassy, the head of Amazon’s cash-cowcloud computing division.

Bezos has propelled the online bookseller he started in his Bellevue, Wash., garage in 1994 into a behemoth worth $1.7 trillion employing over 1.3 million people, with physical stores, delivery trucks, movies, Internet-connected cameras, a cloud business that props up the CIA and enough paying subscribers to populate the ninth-largest country on Earth.

Jassy has been at Amazon for much of its existence and is one of Bezos’ most trusted lieutenants. He served in the coveted role of the CEO’s “shadow” technical a role in which he accompanied Bezos to all his meetings to learn the business in 2003. After writing the original document that became the Amazon Web Services business plan, he has run the division since it formally launched in 2006.

“As much as I still tap dance into the office, I’m excited about this transition,” Bezos said in a letter to employees, announcing the end of his 27-year run. He said he planned to spend more time focused on philanthropy and other outside ventures.

“As Exec Chair I will stay engaged in important Amazon initiatives but also have the time and energy I need to focus on the Day 1 Fund, the Bezos Earth Fund, Blue Origin, The Washington Post, and my other passions,” he wrote. “I’ve never had more energy, and this isn’t about retiring. I’m super passionate about the impact I think these organizations can have.”

Cloud computing is Amazon’s biggest profit center, even as the company continues to profit tremendously from pandemic-fueled online shopping. On Tuesday, Amazon reported yet another record-setting quarter, with sales during the holiday season topping $125 billion. AWS alone raked in $3.6 billion in operating profit half of the company’s total.

While Bezos will become Amazon’s executive chairman and remain its biggest shareholder, the company said on Tuesday.

In recent years, Bezos had already largely stepped back from day-to-day role managing Amazon’s business, focusing on longer-term projects at the company and his outside projects including rocket company Blue Origin.

He did take a more hands-on approach during the early months of the pandemic last year, however, as demand for deliveries soared but also tested Amazon’s ability to keep up. AWS, which sells cloud computing services to other companies, also experienced surging demand as many people and businesses realigned for remote work.

“Jeff will continue to stay not only very involved, but have his fingerprints on a lot of areas of product development and innovation,” Amazon Chief Financial Officer Brian Olsavsky told reporters on Tuesday. “So Jeff is really not going anywhere, it’s more of a restructuring of who’s doing what.”

For Jassy, moving up to the CEO role means taking on some of Amazon’s most pressing challenges. That includes a burgeoning labor movement: Workers in Alabama are about to vote on whether to become the company’s first unionized warehouse in the U.S., while white-collar staff and engineers at its headquarters in Seattle have pushed the company to get serious about addressing racial justice and the climate.

Amazon is also under growing the scrutiny from regulators and lawmakers in the U.S. and Europe who worry about its market dominance. Last summer, Bezos faced his first congressional grilling as part of the House Democrats’ investigation that concluded that Amazon, Google, Facebook and Apple are all monopolies. Now it will be up to Jassy to defend the company from critics who say it should be broken up.

Tuesday’s announcement also came on the same day as news that Amazon would pay over $61.7 million to settle the Federal Trade Commission’s charges that the company withheld some tips of its Flex delivery drivers’ over two and a half years. Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Amazon Boots Parler Off Web Hosting Service!

So I got real mad about this suppression of our voices, and I called, and complained to Amazon as a consumer of theirs. Parler.com has now gone offline cause of this folks I will cancel my Prime account, and never buy another item from them again.

Amazon says that Parler violates its terms of service, adding that it does not believe Parler has a good strategy for cracking down on speech on its platform, according to an email obtained by BuzzFeed News. So they want to censor us folks. This is what this is. This is a Facist/Marxist, communist/socialist behavior. This is right from their playbook. Silence those who don’t agree or have a difference of opinion as yours.

“Recently, we’ve seen a steady increase in this violent content on your website, all of which violates our terms,” said Amazon in its email to Parler. “It’s clear that Parler does not have an effective process to comply with the AWS terms of service.”

“It also seems that Parler is still trying to determine its position on content moderation,” the email added. “You remove some violent content when contacted by us or others, but not always with urgency.” Well then Amazon needs to remove movies that show VIOLENCE from their PRIME streaming services if we can’t have free speach on Parler.

The email continues as follows:

Your CEO recently stated publicly that he doesn’t “feel responsible for any of this, and neither should the platform.” This morning, you shared that you have a plan to more proactively moderate violent content, but plan to do so manually with volunteers. It’s our view that this nascent plan to use volunteers to promptly identify and remove dangerous content will not work in light of the rapidly growing number of violent posts. This is further demonstrated by the fact that you still have not taken down much of the content that we’ve sent you. Given the unfortunate events that transpired this past week in Washington, D.C., there is serious risk that this type of content will further incite violence.

“[W]e cannot provide services to a customer that is unable to effectively identify and remove content that encourages or incites violence against others,” the email added. “Because Parler cannot comply with our terms of service and poses a very real risk to public safety, we plan to suspend Parler’s account effective Sunday, January 10th, at 11:59PM PST.”

Parler is already home to several Republican lawmakers and high-profile figures in conservative media, as well as members of President Donald Trump’s family which is why they really want to shut parler down.

Amazon’s decision to ban Parler from its web hosting service arrives in the wake of Google and Apple banning Parler from their app stores effectively excluded the app from Android and iPhone smartphones. Which silences 70-80 Million people who voted for Trump. This is wrong people… Just wrong.

Amazon, Google, and Apple’s decision to ban Parler arrive on the heels of Twitter permanently banning President Trump from its platform, as well as Facebook and Instagram locking the president out of his accounts “indefinitely.”

“Sunday (tomorrow) at midnight Amazon will be shutting off all of our servers in an attempt to completely remove free speech from the internet,” said Parler CEO John Matze in a statement. “There is the possibility Parler will be unavailable on the internet for up to a week as we rebuild from scratch. We prepared for events like this by never relying on Amazon’s proprietary infrastructure and building bare metal products.”

“We will try our best to move to a new provider right now as we have many competing for our business, however Amazon, Google and Apple purposefully did this as a coordinated effort knowing our options would be limited and knowing this would inflict the most damage right as President Trump was banned from the tech companies,” continued Matze.

“This was a coordinated attack by the tech giants to kill competition in the market place,” the CEO added. “We were too successful too fast. You can expect the war on competition and free speech to continue, but don’t count us out.”

Seattle City Council socialist Kshama Sawant leads tax protest at Amazon Spheres

Watch AOC’s reaction when Trump says we will never be a socialist country
Seattle- In 2013, a relatively unknown lawful immigrant from India named Kshama Swant decided that she was going to run for office as a socialist. She was an economic instructor in the city and a member of the Socialist Alternative Party. She had previously run unsuccessfully for the house of representatives but lost. In the race for city council though, she won.

Seattle City Council member Kshama Sawant leads a crowd of protesters at the Amazon Spheres in downtown Seattle. Sawant wants to tax large corporations like Amazon to pay for affordable housing in Seattle.

Ironworkers shout down Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant with chants of “No Head Tax,” at Amazon headquarters in Seatttle on Thursday, May 3. On Wednesday, the company announced it would pause construction on that project until the City Council votes on the “head tax,” which would charge businesses with more than $20 million in annual revenue 26 cents per employee for every hour worked. The funds would go toward affordable housing and homeless services.

The Seattle City Council votes to repeal the head tax on June 12, 2018.

Back in November 2017 Business head tax for homeless fails to get traction in Seattle.
