Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted of murdering George Floyd, has been stabbed by another inmate and is in serious condition.

Chauvin was convicted in the 2020 murder of Floyd, which sparked violent protests nationwide. The Bureau of Prisons said there was an incident at the prison at around 12:30 p.m. Friday. The agency said employees at the prison contained the incident and performed "life-saving measures," on an inmate, but didn't confirm it was Chauvin. According to the Bureau of Prisons, the inmate was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The incident marks the second incident at the prison in around a year. In November 2022, an inmate at the prison's low-security camp attempted to shoot a visitor in the head, but the weapon was misfired.
Chauvin was sentenced to a 21-year federal sentence for federal civil rights charges and a 22.5-year sentence for the state-level charge of second-degree murder. The prison time is being served simultaneously. Chauvin’s lawyer, Eric Nelson, wrote in court documents last year that his client should be kept away from other prisoners. The incident comes as Chauvin is trying to make another attempt to overturn the federal civil rights conviction.
Chauvin said in a filing earlier this month that he wouldn't have pleaded guilty in 2021 if he was aware of the theories of a pathologist from Kansas, whom he's now in contact with.

After the death of the criminal known as George Floyd which made it easy for the left to use this as a base for their take over of the streets, and the nation by using the domestic terrorist groups known as Antifa, Boogalo Bois, and yes Black Lives Matter who all initiated a nationwide assault on cities that cost billions in damages, thousands of lives, and unrest for months all over the nation. During what they called the “Summer of Love” something they will never live down.
Well it looks like while these riots were going on, the Left and their allies in the Fake News Media were excusing them, and oftentimes encouraging more violence as we know, and It’s been shown in past videos. Not only were they encouraging the riots, many on the Left were promoting bail funds to release rioters from jail.
The most notable of these bail funds was from the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which said that they would “pay criminal bail and immigration bonds for those who cannot otherwise afford to.” Dozens of Hollywood stars and left-wing politicians promoted the fund, which caused it to raise tens of millions of dollars. Among them is Kamala Harris. Oh that’s right she was right there endorsing on video these riots, and she paid for a lot of these same domestic terrorists to get bail. YUP folks this is facts.
Harris encouraged her followers to “chip in” to “help post bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota.” Of course, Minnesota was where the most violence occurred, with Minneapolis being the site of George Floyd’s death. Her post certainly helped the group, which only raised around $100,000 in all of 2018.
The bail fund was then used to bail out violent rioters, including one man who allegedly shot at police officers during riots in Minnesota. And now the Minnesota Freedom Fund is trying to cover up exactly who they bailed out, publicly refusing to reveal exactly who they bailed out. Just the News reached out to the fund, who were told that they could find records of who they bailed out through the “Hennepin and Ramsey County jail rosters.”
But the news outlet attempted to find the records, instead finding that they are not easily accessible. Minnesota reporter Tom Lyden of KMSP also attempted to find a list of those bailed out by the fund. Instead, he found that the records are “difficult to find and it is not available online.”
The fact that the Minnesota Freedom Fund isn’t willing to reveal exactly who they bailed out proves that they are likely hiding something. And with people like Kamala Harris promoting it, it is clear they don’t want the information to harm their political prospects.
So after the death of Saint George Floyd at the hands of a idiot Police officers that sparked weeks of violent protests and riots across our country, President Trump just signed a police reform executive order that’s being praised on both the left and the right.
The Hill – The executive order allows the Justice Department to allocate discretionary grant funding to police departments for police training and de-escalation techniques. The department eligible for funding are required to be certified by federally approved bodies.
The measure prioritizes federal funding for police departments that embrace de-escalation tactics, including a ban on chokeholds outside of instances where an officer’s life is in danger, and improves the government’s ability to track officers with a history of excessive force complaints.
The president’s executive order coincides with ongoing negotiations in Congress for police reform legislation. Sen.Tim Scott (R-S.C.), who is spearheading the effort for Senate Republicans, is expected to introduce his bill on Wednesday.
President Trump explained his executive order to Americans: “The vast majority of police officers are selfless and courageous public servants. They are great men and women. That is why today, I’m signing an executive order encouraging police departments nationwide to adopt the highest professional standards to serve their communities.” He added, “These standards will be as high and as strong as there is on earth.”

The funeral procession for George Floyd is underway following a service in Houston, Texas. Now he will be laid to rest where he cannot commit anymore crimes against pregnant women with guns or break laws like use fake currency to buy smokes.

Services were planned in North Carolina with a public viewing and private service on June 6 and in Houston on June 8 and 9. Floyd will be buried next to his mother in Pearland, Texas.

He died after Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, pressed his knee to Floyd’s neck for eight minutes and 46 seconds during the arrest. The official autopsy found Floyd died of cardiopulmonary arrest caused by subdual and restraint. The toxicologist found several psychoactive substances or metabolites in his system, and the medical examiner noted fentanyl intoxication and recent methamphetamine use as significantly contributory to his death, though not the cause. A second autopsy, commissioned by Floyd’s family and performed by Michael Baden, without access to various tissue and fluid samples, found that the “evidence is consistent with mechanical asphyxia as the cause” of death, with neck compression restricting blood flow to the brain, and back compression restricting breathing.
After Floyd’s death, demonstrations and protests were held globally against the use of excessive force by police officers and lack of police accountability. Accounts of looting, violence and aggressive police activity occurred at many of these protests. Protests developed in over 400 cities throughout all 50 U.S. states and internationally.

President Donald Trump pounced on the news that “The Sniffler” and Democratic nominee Joe Biden is losing support from the nation’s police unions! America’s cities have seen widespread violence after Floyd, an unarmed black man, was killed by Minneapolis cops. Violent clashes have played out between rioters and cops all across the country, leading to cops getting run over, shot, and in some instances, killed.
Shedding a past reputation for being tough on crime, Biden has sought to present himself as a “healer” who can unify the country and help rid police departments of “systemic racism” and it’s costing him support from cops who used to like him… Remember by his own words Biden has put policies into play that has put more BLACK people behind bars then anyone else. In a speech Tuesday, Biden condemned America as a racist country, vowed to establish a national police oversight commission in his first 100 days, and called for legislation to reform policing, such as by banning choke holds.
In response, Bill Johnson, executive director of the National Association of Police Organizations, the umbrella group for Police Benevolent Association chapters, told Politico that the former vice president’s primary season pandering “kept moving left and fell off the deep end.” The break is significant: the group supported former President Barack Obama’s campaigns in 2008 and 2012 because of Biden, but no longer.
“For Joe Biden, police are shaking their heads because he used to be a stand-up guy who backed law enforcement,” Johnson said, according to Politico. “But it seems in his old age, for whatever reason, he’s writing a sad final chapter when it comes to supporting law enforcement.”
While President Trump has also said that more must be done to rid policing of putative racism, his rhetoric has focused overall on “law and order,” while highlighting demands from some progressives to defund police departments altogether. Trump shared the Politico article on Twitter on Thursday, contrasting his approach with that of Biden’s “handlers,” who he said want to “defund the police.”
The Trump campaign meanwhile slammed Biden for remaining silent on “attacks by rioters and looters, sometimes fatal, on police officers in the line of duty protecting innocent Americans,” as Fox News reported.
As a senator, Biden played a prominent role in crafting legislation like the 1994 crime bill, which progressives and on occasion, Trump have blamed for the mass incarceration of blacks, Fox notes.

Jim Pasco, who worked with Biden on the 1994 bill and is the executive director of the Fraternal Order of Police, told Politico that Biden used to be seen as tough on crime but that he shifted over time, to the point “where he would not be considered a law-and-order guy in the sense that law enforcement sees it,” while cops have moved politically to the right.
Maybe it’s time for Joe Biden to fire the people telling him what to say.
At a press conference Thursday, Attorney General Bill Barr called out the radical “extremist groups” that have been egging on these riots in many cities. What’s more, he alleged that some of them come from beyond America’s shores.
“extremist agitators” are “hijacking” protests across the U.S. over the recent death of 46-year-old George Floyd in police custody “to pursue their own separate and violent agenda” — and “foreign actors” are egging them on! Barr said he wanted to make a “distinction between three different sets of actors here.”
“The large preponderance of those who are protesting are peaceful demonstrators who are exercising their First Amendment rights,” Barr said in video shared by the Daily Caller. “At some demonstrations, however, there are groups that exploit the opportunity to engage in such crimes as looting,” the AG added.
But that’s not all. Barr said the Department of Justice (DOJ) also has “evidence that Antifa and other similar extremist groups, as well as actors of a variety of different political persuasions, have been involved in instigating and participating in the violent activity.”
“And we are also seeing foreign actors playing all sides to exacerbate the violence,” he said before vowing that the DOJ “is working to restore order in the District of Columbia and around the nation.”
Now Bill Barr is not the only one to identify Antifa as being one source of the chaos President Donald Trump declared that he was designating the far-left group as a terrorist entity. Also some state authorities are also naming the group as a culprit. One is Col. Steve McCraw, who serves as director of the Texas Department of Public Safety. A Dallas–Ft. Worth CBS affiliate quoted McCraw as telling reporters at a press conference on Thursday that “there’s evidence of Antifa” operating in the area. What’s more, the Texas lawman identified Antifa actors as being among those responsible for a recent attack on a Target outlet in Austin.
“The protest and looting of Target in Austin that was done and organized by an Antifa web page and of course, the surveillance that was provided over the internet identifying where law enforcement resources were staged, was done over Antifa accounts,” he said, according to CBS DFW.
Barr indicated Thursday that the federal government will be working closely with state and local authorities to crack down on those who are taking advantage of the peaceful protests.

It was the second night of violence after the video went viral of the in-custody death of 46-year-old George Floyd, who died after now-former Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin who was a 19-year veteran of the MPD, knelt on his neck to keep him pinned down, even after Floyd appeared to lose consciousness.
On Thursday morning, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, who initially encouraged people to attend the anti-police protests, confirmed he had requested the assistance of the Minnesota National Guard, KARE reported.
On Wednesday, the police department identified the officers involved in Floyd’s arrest as former Minneapolis Police Officers Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane who joined the force in 2019, Tou Thao, and J. Alexander Kueng who was hired by MPD in 2017, as reported.
Protesters have demanded the immediate arrests of all four officers involved, and to be honest I don’t know why they haven’t been charged with murder yet. But to Riot over this is a little bit much, and it shouldn’t ever get this far. Look at the tweet below here.
The angry residents wrote ‘A murderer lives here’ on the road outside the officer’s house on Wednesday night. Dumping blood-red paint, the demonstrators wrote the word ‘murderer’ on his driveway. Furthermore, a sign reading ‘People don’t kill people, cops do’ and ‘ACAB 20’ was erected at the edge of Chauvin’s property, reported the Independent.
