The surge of federal agents part of what authorities describe as a major enforcement effort targeting individuals with removal orders and criminal records has been defended by the administration as lawful action to uphold immigration laws and protect public safety. 

They maintain it’s not about intimidation but enforcing existing legal judgments and removing those deemed dangerous.

Elissa Slotkin appeared on ABC’s This Week on Sunday after she and several other veterans turned lawmakers released a video reminding U.S. service members that they are obligated to refuse illegal orders under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. 

Well folks Host Martha Raddatz pressed Slotkin on whether she believed President Trump had actually issued any illegal orders. Slotkin said she released the video because young officers and JAG attorneys had been reaching out with concerns and confusion about recent directives especially related to military activity in the Caribbean and enforcement actions connected to Venezuela. 

Venezuela a terrorist harboring country, and when asked directly if Trump had issued illegal orders, Slotkin responded with “To my knowledge, I am not aware of things that are illegal, but certainly there are some legal gymnastics going on with these Caribbean strikes and everything related to Venezuela.” While she clearly is helping terrorist countries like Venezuela by even speaking up she's talking like someone who is asking for "Treason" against the current White House.

Now while I'm not going to say this comes as a shock to us here at PSNews but as President Trump said ‘I think she should be happy’ while Democratic colleague praises her for stance on Epstein files she has been on the fall out since she backed Kevin McCarthy for speaker when others like Matt Gaetz, and Trump wanted him out for Mike Johnson who's been much better.

Marjorie Taylor Greene who we know as the main enemy of others in congress over the years like AOC, and members of the Fraud Squad. The Republican Georgia congresswoman now who had a dramatic blow-up with Donald Trump despite being his longtime ally, announced on Friday she would be resigning.

Which the president called “great news” Greene followed with “Loyalty should be a two-way street,” she said in a lengthy resignation statement shared on social media, adding that it was “unfair and wrong” that Trump turned on her for disagreeing with him. That isn't the only reason but she did push on the Epstein files, and other things which she had no business getting involved in.

When he was asked if Greene had informed him, Trump said “Nah, it doesn’t matter, you know, but I think it’s great. I think she should be happy.” Greene had said last week she was the subject of “a hotbed of threats” after Trump withdrew his support for and endorsement of her. The move sent shockwaves through US politics. The Republican political strategist Shermichael Singleton called it “a big shocker”. “Maybe she’s looking at future plans,” Singleton told CNN. Greene may have an ally in Democratic congressman Ro Khanna, who worked with her to pass the bill to release the files related to the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein.

Teachers, farmers, veterans, EVERYONE, I need your support.” The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Georgia’s biggest newspaper, in its coverage of her resignation said that “Her split with Trump made her an even bigger national sensation.” This is not why she was elected to congress, and this b/s issue she meddled in made her annoying to not just Trump but most in the MAGA movement who like myself used to praise her but like most who get power it went to her head a bit much, and well the President who last week announced he was withdrawing his support of Greene, appeared to celebrate her resignation again by saying that “I think it’s great news for the country. Texas congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, a Democrat, posted on social media: “I’m going to be honest … I didn’t see this coming but the threats that come with being on the opposite side of Trump ARE REAL!”

“MTG is likely to be a formidable 2028 candidate,” Khanna told NBC News. “Her stances on Epstein, on regulating AI, and anti-war are more in touch with MAGA voters than JD Vance.” Maga influencer Steve Bannon told the New York Times “the House is not big enough” for Greene’s ambitions or personality. “She had her committee assignments pulled by Pelosi in her first term and rose to be a national figure. We haven’t seen or heard the last of M.T.G,” he wrote in a text message. Some observers couldn’t help but point out the strange turn of events a one-time Trump ally resigning hours after an Oval Office meeting in which Trump heaped praise on Zohran Mamdani, the 34-year-old democratic socialist mayor-elect of New York City whom he had called a “100% Communist Lunatic”.

She fought for her district and put America First. What more could anyone have wanted?” she wrote on X. Shawn Harris, a Georgia Democrat running for Congress in Greene’s solidly Republican district, sought to rally supporters in response to the announcement.

“As you’ve likely heard, Marjorie Taylor Greene has announced her resignation effective January 5, 2026,” Harris said in a post on social media on Friday. A District Court ruling in September 2025 by Judge Charles Breyer favored Newsom, blocking Trump from using National Guard or other military troops for civilian law enforcement within California, citing a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act.

However, an earlier ruling in June 2025 by a Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals panel favored Trump by blocking a temporary restraining order Newsom had secured, deferring to the president's authority to federalize the Guard. 

The Ninth Circuit denied a request for a rehearing of that decision in October 2025, which allowed Trump to maintain federal control over the troops and was seen as a legal win for him. The case is ongoing, with the federal government appealing the September district court ruling.

Court case regarding federal tariffs In October 2025, Newsom and California's Attorney General filed a brief with the Supreme Court requesting the removal of tariffs imposed by President Trump. 

This lawsuit challenges the president's authority to unilaterally impose tariffs based on national security, arguing it is illegal and negatively impacts California's economy.

Judge James Boasberg released Nathalie Rose Jones woman who made death threats at Trump!

A woman arrested last month for allegedly making death threats against President Trump has been released by a federal judge who has clashed with the Trump administration several times this year. Wait so he's letting a person who said they wanted to kill the PRESIDENT out of prison? This a thing which would give someone automatic JAIL? Yeah this Judge needs to be disbarred and sent to prison he's corrupt and crooked as hell, and this isn't his first go at trying to destroy TRUMP... He's an OBAMA guy doing what his puppet masters want.

Chief U.S. District Judge James Boasberg released Natalie Rose Jones, an Indiana woman charged with making online threats against President Trump, on August 27, 2025. The decision to release her while she awaits trial under strict conditions has received significant public and media attention. 

Following her Arrest Jones who is 50 years old mind you this is no child. She should know better so no excuses on her idiotic online behavior. She was arrested on August 16, 2025, in Washington, D.C., and charged with threatening to kill, kidnap, or inflict bodily harm on the president after posting threatening messages on social media.

The Department of Justice's charging documents state that Jones made several threatening posts between August 2 and 9, 2025. One post allegedly stated, "I am willing to sacrificially kill this POTUS by disemboweling him and cutting out his trachea". Secret Service interviewed Jones twice in mid-August. During the first interview, she allegedly reiterated her intent to kill the president if given the opportunity. During the second interview, she denied any current desire to harm him.

This woman clearly has TDS and possible other Mental health issues which are aggravated by her TDS, and so all the liberal junk and lies the left keeps pushing about Trump she's fully believing, and in her deranged lunatic mind she might actually think he's the 2nd coming of Hitler! This is why words are weapons, and what the liberals have been doing a decade long now against TRUMP is horrific, and should be punished!

The judge ordered her to undergo psychiatric care as a condition of her release.

Judge Boasberg's Rationale for Release claiming a Lack of probable cause: On September 2, a grand jury found "no probable cause" for the charges and refused to indict Jones. Her public defender argued that the government's evidence was weak, and that she had no intent to harm anyone. Even having claimed she wanted to do it more than once? Given her mental issue this is not "WEAK" normally crazy people just start this way and next thing you know she shows up at Mar-A-Lago hides in the bushes, and waits to take a shot like that last lunatic who tried that on President Trump.

Secret Service actions questioned During a hearing, Judge Boasberg questioned the seriousness of the threats, noting the Secret Service's delayed arrest of Jones. He highlighted that the Secret Service did not "dissuade her from coming" to Washington, D.C., suggesting they may not have initially taken the threats seriously. Or that maybe it took them a few days to get to her since they're busy with keeping the President safe and others also thinks also and things take time. 

So this Judge is wrong and is someone with his history of being Anti Trump he should not be involved in anymore cases against Trump cause now it's become clear he has himself TDS, and hates Donald Trump. The so called Judge also referenced recent instances where other defendants accused of threatening Trump were released, including Edward Dana and Peter Stinson. Also by Obama liberal Judges, and so this is a tactic of the left. U.S. Attorney for D.C., Jeanine Pirro, initially announced the charges with a strong statement, emphasizing that threats against the president are "one of the most serious crimes". 

The grand jury's decision against indictment was reported as a "major blow" to her office. She needs to continue to investigate these Judges. The decision has prompted varied reactions online and in the media. Some have criticized the ruling as too lenient, given the nature of the threats. Others have argued that Jones's history of mental health issues and the grand jury's findings influenced the outcome.

Even the leftist media outlets noted that Judge Boasberg, an Obama appointee, has previously clashed with the Trump administration. Rosie O’Donnell apologized false claims on Minneapolis Catholic church school shooter!

The liberal TDS demented once actress, tv show host and stand up comic Rosie O’Donnell had to issue an apologize on social media after falsely claiming the Minneapolis Catholic church school shooter was a "MAGA supporter, a Republican and a white supremacist" ... Last Thursday, O’Donnell posted a video after learning about the attack that left two children dead and 18 others injured, 15 of them kids. The comedian said the violence reminded her of the Columbine massacre in 1999, when she struggled to comprehend that American students were shooting each other in schools.

Regarding the Minneapolis shooting, O’Donnell pointed out it took place inside a Catholic school and added: "What do you know? It was a white guy, Republican, MAGA person. What do you know? White supremacists." 

Sunday, O’Donnell walked back her comments, admitting she was wrong about the shooter’s identity. "I knew a lot of you were very upset about the video I made before I went away for a few days," she said in a new video, adding that she did not have time to read through the comments until Sunday. 

"You are right. I did not do my due diligence before I made that emotional statement, and I said things about the shooter that were incorrect.

"I assumed, like most shooters, they followed a standard MO and had standard, you know, feelings of… you know, NRA-loving kind of gun people," O’Donnell continued. "Anyway, the truth is I messed up, and when you mess up, you fess up. I’m sorry. This is my apology video and I hope it’s enough." Her apology drew sharp criticism online. One user called it "the most unapologetic apology ever." Another wrote, "She’s not sorry, she still means exactly what she said." 

A third said she was "trying to save face, because she opened her mouth and was so wrong." In the comments, O’Donnell replied to one critic, writing, "I was wrong and I apologize what more do you want?" Others said the misstep reflected a bigger problem. 

"It’s good that you apologized, but this is what is keeping this country so divided," one person wrote. "So much mistruths being spread by both sides. 

People need to fact check every single political thing that they see because the majority of it is a lie." O’Donnell’s remarks came less than a week after the gunman opened fire during a Mass at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, where students from the attached school were gathered. The gunfire shattered stained-glass and pew-side windows as students and parishioners ducked for cover. 

FBI Director Kash Patel said Thursday the "barbaric" attack appeared to be an act of domestic terrorism "motivated by a hate-filled ideology." Patel said the shooter’s manifesto and writings on firearms expressed anti-Catholic and anti-religious themes, along with violent antisemitic messages. Among them were phrases such as "Israel must fall" and "Free Palestine," alongside Holocaust-related slurs. This sort of junk from Rosie isn't shocking as she's gone full blown TDS, and is a total nut job.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia Released from jail? WTF?

Straight outta NASHVILLE News. The 30-year-old Maryland man at the center of the Trump administration's deportation scandal the liberals keep crying about. You know the guy who is a criminal here illegally? Well the plan to send him back home to a Salvadoran mega-prison will have to wait a bit as he was released from custody Aug. 22, more than five months after his arrest and original deportation. Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national, is now set to return to his wife and children as his deportation case continues in a winding court battle that spans multiple states and countries. Even coming before the U.S. Supreme Court.

So he's not out of hot water but his lawyers have sought to prevent him from being arrested once more by immigration officials. Attorney Sean Hecker told The Tennessean, part of USA TODAY Network, that Abrego Garcia was free and on his way to Maryland. "Today, Kilmar Abrego Garcia is free," Hecker said in a statement. 

"He is presently en route to his family in Maryland, after being unlawfully arrested and deported, and then imprisoned, all because of the government’s vindictive attack on a man who had the courage to fight back against the Administration’s continuing assault on the rule of law. He is grateful that his access to American courts has provided meaningful due process."

Hecker said Abrego Garcia was let out of the Putnam County Jail, located about 80 miles east of Nashville. U.S. Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes, on the federal bench in Tennessee, issued the terms of his release on Aug. 21 from an undisclosed facility where he was in the custody of U.S. Marshals. Holmes is a judge who was appointed during the Obama administration, and is herself a Democrat took this case on because this is what the liberals do. They have been trying to get a known Criminal brought back into our country so Obama's people took care of that. Think about this come mid terms. 

But Holmes and a federal district both ruled that Abrego Garcia was entitled to release before his trial on smuggling charges. But because his attorneys feared he would be placed in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody and summarily deported, judges agreed to postpone letting him out of U.S. Marshals custody.

A court order in a different case ensures he will not be immediately picked up by ICE agents in Tennessee. U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis, of Maryland, ruled on July 23 that the federal government must restore Abrego Garcia to his ICE order of supervision in Baltimore and give his attorneys at least 72 hours' notice of any plans to deport him. That means he could still be detained in Maryland, where his wife and three children live and have sought his return for months.

A sheetmetal worker living in suburban Washington, DC, Abrego Garcia became the face of President Donald Trump's sweeping and controversial deportation tactics. Abrego Garcia entered the country illegally around 2012 as a teen. Immigration officials issued a final order of removal in 2019, but they said he could not be released to his home country of El Salvador due to credible fears of persecution by gangs in that country. 

On March 12, federal immigration agents stopped Abrego Garcia, with his son in the backseat, as the father returned from work. They accused him of gang ties. He was one of hundreds of migrant men quickly shipped to the Terrorism Confinement Center in El Salvador, where he said he faced torture.

His wife identified him in dramatic videos promoted by the Salvadoran government as one of the shackled men shuttled into the notorious prison, based on the scars on his head. The Trump administration labeled him an MS-13 gang member, without evidence. The government lawyers were frequently scolded by federal judges who dismissed the accusations against Abrego Garcia as baseless and ordered that he be returned to the United States, since he was illegally deported. A government lawyer assigned to the case became a whistleblower after the administration defied court orders.

When he was deported to El Salvador earlier this year, Abrego Garcia was under a court order that prohibited his deportation to El Salvador. Both the Trump administration and Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele said they couldn't return him to the United States, but he was returned nevertheless after the Justice Department filed smuggling charges in Tennessee stemming from a 2022 traffic stop. Officials have said they may deport Abrego Garcia to a different country.

Abrego Garcia's wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, had fought for his release, appearing at court hearings in Maryland and Tennessee. Trump administration officials released details on family disputes, including allegations of domestic abuse, in their push to keep him in custody. His wife pushed back on those details and maintained her husband's innocence on the other charges. But we all know he's guilty folks he's on video, and everything plus he's here illegally. That alone makes him a criminal. So deportation for him is going to be his final verdict anyway they're only delaying the end of his story. This is political theater by our criminal minded Democrats.

Abrego Garcia's lawyers said they retained a private security firm to take him to Maryland once he is released from custody.

The DOJ is investigating if DC police officials falsified crime data?

Hot out of DC friends! The Justice Department or D.O.J for short has opened an investigation into whether police officials in Washington, D.C., have falsified data to make crime rates appear lower than they are, according to two people familiar with the probe who weren't authorized to publicly discuss an open investigation. Now check this out the investigation comes amid an escalating and political showdown between the Trump administration and the city over control of the police department. It wasn’t immediately clear what federal laws could have been violated by the possible manipulation of crime data.

But President Donald Trump claimed that violent crime in Washington is getting worse as he ordered a federal takeover of the city's police department, flooding the streets with hundreds of National Guard members. But he exaggerated or misstated many facts about public safety in Washington, where crime rates have fallen in recent years. But this is where it gets sort of interested as Mayor Muriel Bowser's office declined to comment on the investigation. A spokesperson for U.S. Attorney Jeannine Pirro's office in Washington didn't respond to emails seeking comment.

The New York Times was first to report on the investigation. But remember back to the January 6 Capitol riot it was who that we now know were responsible for that happened? Not Trump but Nancy Pelosi, and one Mayor "Muriel Bowser" YES Same one as now. So while earlier this year, a Metropolitan Police Department commander suspected of manipulating crime data was placed on paid administrative leave, NBC Washington reported. Bowser told the television station last Tuesday that the city's police chief “had concerns about one commander, investigated all seven districts and verified that the concern was with one person.”

“So, we are completing that investigation and we don’t believe it implicates many cases,” the mayor added. Former interim U.S. Attorney Ed Martin, who was Pirro’s predecessor and Trump’s first pick to lead the office, said Washington’s violent crime had decreased in the first 100 days since Trump returned to the White House in January. In an April 28 news release, Martin’s office said MPD data showed that violent crime had dropped by 25 percent since the start of 2025.

“We are proving that strong enforcement and smart policies can make our communities safer,” Martin said in the release. The Senate Friday voted down an effort to block President Trump from using further military force against Iran, as Democratic anger festers over the lack of details about the recent strikes on the country's nuclear facilities.

The measure failed in a 47-53 vote, with Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky voting with most Democrats in favor of the resolution, and Democratic Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania voting with most Republicans against it. Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia introduced the war powers resolution days before the U.S. bombed three locations central to Iran's nuclear program, seeking to force the president to get congressional authorization before entering the conflict between Israel and Iran. "The events of this week have demonstrated that war is too big to be consigned to the decisions of any one person," Kaine said on the Senate floor ahead of the vote.

Since the measure was introduced, Mr. Trump announced a ceasefire between the adversaries and declared that Iran's nuclear sites were "obliterated" during the 12-day war. On Friday, Mr. Trump said he would "without question" consider bombing Iran again if Tehran was enriching uranium to a level that concerned the U.S. But anger from Democrats, including those who have said that Iran should never be able to obtain a nuclear weapon, has simmered as they say they have been left in the dark about U.S. military actions. It's led some Democrats to question whether the Trump administration is misleading the public about the strikes, especially after an initial classified assessment found that they set back Tehran's nuclear program by a matter of months. Mr. Trump, meanwhile, has said the nuclear program was set back "basically decades."

Top intelligence officials said Wednesday that new intelligence showed the nuclear program had been "severely damaged" and its facilities "destroyed." It would take the Iranians "years" to rebuild the facilities, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth called it "an historically successful attack" in a contentious press briefing Thursday. Classified briefings for the Senate and House were originally scheduled for Tuesday, the same day the initial assessment was leaked. Officials briefed senators on Thursday afternoon and House members on Friday.

A White House official said Tuesday the Senate briefing was postponed because of "evolved circumstances as a result of recent positive developments in the Middle East." After the briefings, some Democrats cast doubt on the administration's characterization of the strikes and questioned assertions regarding how much Iran's nuclear program has been hindered. "I walk away from that briefing still under the belief that we have not obliterated the program," Sen. Chris Murphy, a Connecticut Democrat, told reporters. "The president was deliberately misleading the public when he said the program was obliterated. It is certain that there is still significant capability, significant equipment that remain."

Rep. Jason Crow, a Colorado Democrat who sits on the House Intelligence Committee, said the information disclosed in the briefing was "massively different than what has been told to Congress over the last year, up until a month ago, about both Iranian capabilities and Iranian intent." Crow said he was "not convinced of that whatsoever" when asked whether Iranian nuclear facilities had been obliterated. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, a New York Democrat, has railed against a lack of transparency and said earlier this week the administration had not presented Congress with any evidence that Iran posed an imminent threat requiring immediate military action.

But Jeffries did not go as far as supporting a resolution to impeach Mr. Trump over the bombings. He and more than 120 Democrats voted with all Republicans to kill the measure, which was introduced by Democratic Rep. Al Green of Texas, on Tuesday. Rep. Jim Himes of Connecticut, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, also questioned the timing of the strikes.

"It's pretty clear that there was no imminent threat to the United States," Himes said. "There's always an Iranian threat to the world. But ... I have not seen anything to suggest that the threat from the Iranians was radically different last Saturday than it was two Saturdays ago." Kaine's resolution was one of a handful of similar efforts seeking to curtail further U.S. involvement in Iran, though it's unclear whether any will be successful in a Congress controlled narrowly by Republicans. Some Republicans who were initially supportive of the resolutions, like Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, appear to be backing away from forcing a vote as long as the ceasefire holds and the U.S. does not conduct any further bombings. And House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Louisiana Republican, called the efforts irrelevant because Iran and Israel agreed to stop the fighting. "It's kind of a moot point now, isn't it?" Johnson said Monday. "It seems rather silly at this point and I hope they'll acknowledge it as such and put it to bed because it has zero chance of passing anyway."

Senate Majority Leader John Thune told The Wall Street Journal this week he believes Mr. Trump acted "perfectly within his authority" by striking Iran. "I don't think there's any question the president has the authority legally and constitutionally to do what he did," the South Dakota Republican said. "There are always questions around these things, but past presidents and both political parties have similarly acted in circumstances where there've been airstrikes at various places around the world where our national security interests dictated it."

The Constitution gives Congress the power to declare war, and most major military conflicts in recent history have been launched under an authorization for the use of military force passed by Congress. But presidents have periodically acted without explicit permission from lawmakers, including during President Bill Clinton's 1999 bombing of Yugoslavia and President Barack Obama's 2011 airstrikes on Libya, the Congressional Research Service notes. In announcing his support for Kaine's resolution, Paul said Congress was abdicating its constitutional responsibility by allowing a president to act unilaterally and warned that last week's strikes could have unintended consequences. "Despite the tactical success of our strikes, they may end up proving to be a strategic failure.

It is unclear if this intervention will fully curtail Iran's nuclear aspirations, or, in fact, whether the Iranians may well conclude to double down on their efforts to obtain a nuclear weapon," Paul said. Those opposed to the resolution argued that Mr. Trump acted within his constitutional authority and that the measure would constrain the president's ability to respond quickly to a threat. In an interview last week with CBS News' Major Garrett, Kaine acknowledged that his resolution could fail but said he wanted his colleagues to be on the record about U.S. involvement in another war. "Everyone in the Senate should agree that this is a matter of such gravity and importance that we shouldn't allow war to begin without Congress having a debate in full view of the American public and members of the Senate and House having to go on the record about it," he said.

On November 29, 2017, a hearing was held on his nomination before the Senate Judiciary Committee. On January 11, 2018, his nomination was reported out of committee by a voice vote.

On June 5, 2018, the United States Senate invoked cloture on his nomination by a 94–1 vote. Later that day, Rodriguez was confirmed by a 96–0 vote. He received his judicial commission on June 12, 2018. He has since been used sadly by the left to help them and has shown his true RINO colors, and this is just more proof of it. This was one of the reasons why these people have done this unlawful moves in the court as a lot of these judges have been compromised and clearly don't care about our Rule of law or what the people want.

Senator Chris Van Hollen May Have Violated Law once Used Against Michael Flynn

Chris Van Hollen’s unexpected trip to El Salvador to advocate for the release of deportee Kilmar Abrego Garcia you know the MS-13 career criminal deported back to the home he is a citizen off is well drawing scrutiny from critics who argue the Maryland Democrat may have broken a centuries-old law prohibiting unauthorized diplomacy. You see the Logan Act, named after Pennsylvania Senator George Logan, prohibits private citizens from engaging with foreign governments “with intent to influence their measures in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States.” This Violation can result in fines or imprisonment up to three years. Should there be charges, they would be filed by the Justice Department at Attorney General Pam Bondi’s direction.

The law was enacted in 1799 after Logan met with French diplomat Charles de Talleyrand, without official authorization, following France’s rejection of overtures from President John Adams. Logan attempted to ease tensions in the “Quasi War,” partly through correspondence from then–Vice President Thomas Jefferson. Several high ranking and very well known conservatives have been since questioning whether Van Hollen’s actions violated the Logan Act. “Why hasn’t this U.S. senator been arrested for violation of the Logan Act? It’s illegal to conduct your own foreign policy,” longtime GOP activist and consultant Roger Stone tweeted. Also he did this on TAX PAYER MONEY? So On Friday, WMAL host Vince Coglianese read the Logan Act statute aloud and asked his audience whether Van Hollen had violated the code outlined. “Is Chris Van Hollen violating the Logan Act?” Coglianese said. “Because this is what they accused General [Michael] Flynn of doing the incoming national security advisor who was merely having conversations with foreign diplomats [after] people had chosen President Donald Trump.”

Notes from former FBI agent Peter Strzok included the line “VP: Logan Act,” suggesting that then–Vice President Joe Biden proposed using the statute against Flynn. However, then–FBI Director James Comey reportedly remarked that Flynn’s communications with Kislyak appeared “legit.” Fox News contributor Byron York responded to a question on X by stating that he had consistently argued during the Flynn controversy that the Logan Act is a “dead letter.”

The American Accountability Foundation (AAF) has sent a letter to Senate Ethics Committee Chairman James Lankford (R-Okla.), requesting an investigation into possible violations, according to the New York Post. “Mr. Abrego-Garcia is essentially an enemy combatant in the ongoing invasion of the United States by transnational gangs,” AAF President Thomas Jones wrote to the heads of the Senate Ethics Committee and Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD). “Despite the overwhelming evidence, Senator Van Hollen decided that he would use Senate funds to fly to El Salvador and advocate for an enemy of the United States.”

Jones added: “Van Hollen was in El Salvador meeting with leaders of the Salvadorian government to attempt to secure Mr. Garcia’s release. It is hard to imagine a more hostile intrusion into U.S. foreign policy than attempting to smuggle a foreign enemy combatant into the United States.” The Trump administration presented courtroom evidence proving that Abrego Garcia is a member of the MS-13 gang. President Trump has declared MS-13 a terrorist organization and its members transnational combatants.

Bukele shared three pics of the Democratic Maryland lawmaker meeting with Abrego Garcia who was deported to El Salvador’s notorious mega prison last month lounging in the country’s “tropical paradise” with what appeared to be salt-rimmed drinking glasses containing an unknown liquid and a cherry. “Kilmar Abrego Garcia, miraculously risen from the ‘death camps’ & ‘torture’, now sipping margaritas with Sen. Van Hollen in the tropical paradise of El Salvador,” Bukele said in an X post Thursday night.

“Now that he’s been confirmed healthy, he gets the honor of staying in El Salvador’s custody,” Bukele, who said earlier this week that he has no intention of returning Abrego Garcia to the US, wrote in a separate post. Van Hollen (D-MD) again as we know traveled to the Central American nation this to push for the release of the illegal migrant and purported MS-13 member. Moron thinks because he a nobody goes there it will mean anything and suddenly they will bring this illegal back.

The excursion sparked outrage from the mother of murdered Maryland woman Rachel Morin, 37, who was ruthlessly killed by Victor Martinez-Hernandez, a different Salvadoran illegal immigrant who was convicted Monday of the 2023 murder. 

“I just don’t understand this,” Patty Morin told the White House press corps Wednesday, while slamming the senator who she says “didn’t even acknowledge” her daughter’s brutal slaying. She said Van Hollen instead chose to “use my tax money to fly to El Salvador to bring back a person … who isn’t even an American citizen.” 

The White House also took aim at the Democrat for prioritizing “the welfare” of a “terrorist” after the photos of him and Abrego Garcia were shared online Thursday night.

“Chris Van Hollen has firmly established Democrats as the party whose top priority is the welfare of an illegal alien MS-13 terrorist,” the White House said in a statement to The Post.“

It is truly disgusting. President Trump will continue to stand on the side of law-abiding Americans.” Van Hollen also took to social media to share a photo of him meeting with Abrego Garcia, who was wearing a colorful checkered collard shirt, jeans, sneakers and a Kansas City Super Bowl hat .

“I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar,” Van Hollen posted to X, with a picture of the pair sitting outside at a table with what appears to be glasses of water and coffee. “Tonight I had that chance. The Trump administration claimed that Abrego Garcia is part of the vicious MS-13 gang and was living in the country illegally when he was deported. The administration has since repeatedly defied several court orders, including one from the US Supreme Court, to return him back to the land of the free, and disavowed Abrego Garcia as being “wrongly deported” despite admitting he was booted from the country as a result of a “clerical error.” But oh well bringing him back in won't happen no matter how much they cry about it since he was still after all here ILLEGALLY.His deportation also went against a 2019 order blocking the feds’ ability to remove him to El Salvador on the grounds that he was at risk of retaliation from gangs. Why? Cause he did something with HIS GANG against other GANGS and so he had to flee and came here illegally breaking the law to lay low for whatever "crime" he did there against another gang banger. Bukele said Monday at the White House that he has no intention of returning Abrego Garcia calling the idea “preposterous.” Amid the public battle over his case, US Attorney General Pam Bondi released documents Wednesday showing Abrego Garcia was an active MS-13 member in 2019 and held the rank of “Chequeo” and the street name “Chele” within the violent international gang. The Department of Homeland Security also revealed that he was accused of physically abusing his wife, who applied for a protective order, in 2021. 

His wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, who has fought for her husband’s release, told The Post she asked for protection from Abrego Garcia “out of caution” after she survived domestic abuse in a “previous relationship.” And hey here is an idea? MOVE TO El Salvador!
