But Tim Kaine’s (D-VA) tried to stop the war powers of Trump with a resolution, which would have required Congress to debate and vote on whether the president could declare war or strike Iran, was struck down in the upper chamber. The Senate Friday voted down an effort to block President Trump from using further military force against Iran, as Democratic anger festers over the lack of details about the recent strikes on the country's nuclear facilities.

The measure failed in a 47-53 vote, with Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky voting with most Democrats in favor of the resolution, and Democratic Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania voting with most Republicans against it. Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia introduced the war powers resolution days before the U.S. bombed three locations central to Iran's nuclear program, seeking to force the president to get congressional authorization before entering the conflict between Israel and Iran. "The events of this week have demonstrated that war is too big to be consigned to the decisions of any one person," Kaine said on the Senate floor ahead of the vote.

Since the measure was introduced, Mr. Trump announced a ceasefire between the adversaries and declared that Iran's nuclear sites were "obliterated" during the 12-day war. On Friday, Mr. Trump said he would "without question" consider bombing Iran again if Tehran was enriching uranium to a level that concerned the U.S. But anger from Democrats, including those who have said that Iran should never be able to obtain a nuclear weapon, has simmered as they say they have been left in the dark about U.S. military actions. It's led some Democrats to question whether the Trump administration is misleading the public about the strikes, especially after an initial classified assessment found that they set back Tehran's nuclear program by a matter of months. Mr. Trump, meanwhile, has said the nuclear program was set back "basically decades."

Top intelligence officials said Wednesday that new intelligence showed the nuclear program had been "severely damaged" and its facilities "destroyed." It would take the Iranians "years" to rebuild the facilities, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth called it "an historically successful attack" in a contentious press briefing Thursday. Classified briefings for the Senate and House were originally scheduled for Tuesday, the same day the initial assessment was leaked. Officials briefed senators on Thursday afternoon and House members on Friday.

A White House official said Tuesday the Senate briefing was postponed because of "evolved circumstances as a result of recent positive developments in the Middle East." After the briefings, some Democrats cast doubt on the administration's characterization of the strikes and questioned assertions regarding how much Iran's nuclear program has been hindered. "I walk away from that briefing still under the belief that we have not obliterated the program," Sen. Chris Murphy, a Connecticut Democrat, told reporters. "The president was deliberately misleading the public when he said the program was obliterated. It is certain that there is still significant capability, significant equipment that remain."

Rep. Jason Crow, a Colorado Democrat who sits on the House Intelligence Committee, said the information disclosed in the briefing was "massively different than what has been told to Congress over the last year, up until a month ago, about both Iranian capabilities and Iranian intent." Crow said he was "not convinced of that whatsoever" when asked whether Iranian nuclear facilities had been obliterated. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, a New York Democrat, has railed against a lack of transparency and said earlier this week the administration had not presented Congress with any evidence that Iran posed an imminent threat requiring immediate military action.

But Jeffries did not go as far as supporting a resolution to impeach Mr. Trump over the bombings. He and more than 120 Democrats voted with all Republicans to kill the measure, which was introduced by Democratic Rep. Al Green of Texas, on Tuesday. Rep. Jim Himes of Connecticut, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, also questioned the timing of the strikes.

"It's pretty clear that there was no imminent threat to the United States," Himes said. "There's always an Iranian threat to the world. But ... I have not seen anything to suggest that the threat from the Iranians was radically different last Saturday than it was two Saturdays ago." Kaine's resolution was one of a handful of similar efforts seeking to curtail further U.S. involvement in Iran, though it's unclear whether any will be successful in a Congress controlled narrowly by Republicans. Some Republicans who were initially supportive of the resolutions, like Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, appear to be backing away from forcing a vote as long as the ceasefire holds and the U.S. does not conduct any further bombings. And House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Louisiana Republican, called the efforts irrelevant because Iran and Israel agreed to stop the fighting. "It's kind of a moot point now, isn't it?" Johnson said Monday. "It seems rather silly at this point and I hope they'll acknowledge it as such and put it to bed because it has zero chance of passing anyway."

Senate Majority Leader John Thune told The Wall Street Journal this week he believes Mr. Trump acted "perfectly within his authority" by striking Iran. "I don't think there's any question the president has the authority legally and constitutionally to do what he did," the South Dakota Republican said. "There are always questions around these things, but past presidents and both political parties have similarly acted in circumstances where there've been airstrikes at various places around the world where our national security interests dictated it."

The Constitution gives Congress the power to declare war, and most major military conflicts in recent history have been launched under an authorization for the use of military force passed by Congress. But presidents have periodically acted without explicit permission from lawmakers, including during President Bill Clinton's 1999 bombing of Yugoslavia and President Barack Obama's 2011 airstrikes on Libya, the Congressional Research Service notes. In announcing his support for Kaine's resolution, Paul said Congress was abdicating its constitutional responsibility by allowing a president to act unilaterally and warned that last week's strikes could have unintended consequences. "Despite the tactical success of our strikes, they may end up proving to be a strategic failure.

It is unclear if this intervention will fully curtail Iran's nuclear aspirations, or, in fact, whether the Iranians may well conclude to double down on their efforts to obtain a nuclear weapon," Paul said. Those opposed to the resolution argued that Mr. Trump acted within his constitutional authority and that the measure would constrain the president's ability to respond quickly to a threat. In an interview last week with CBS News' Major Garrett, Kaine acknowledged that his resolution could fail but said he wanted his colleagues to be on the record about U.S. involvement in another war. "Everyone in the Senate should agree that this is a matter of such gravity and importance that we shouldn't allow war to begin without Congress having a debate in full view of the American public and members of the Senate and House having to go on the record about it," he said.

The Trump-Appointed Federal Judge who just Blocked the use Of Alien Enemies Act To Deport Venezuelans to their home country even when they're not citizens here but of Venezuela, and are here illegally. Now while he was selected on September 7, 2017 by President Donald Trump when he was nominated. Judge Rodriguez has served as a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, to the seat vacated by Judge Gregg Costa, who was elevated to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on May 20, 2014. On November 29, 2017, a hearing was held on his nomination before the Senate Judiciary Committee. On January 11, 2018, his nomination was reported out of committee by a voice vote.

On June 5, 2018, the United States Senate invoked cloture on his nomination by a 94–1 vote. Later that day, Rodriguez was confirmed by a 96–0 vote. He received his judicial commission on June 12, 2018. He has since been used sadly by the left to help them and has shown his true RINO colors, and this is just more proof of it. This was one of the reasons why these people have done this unlawful moves in the court as a lot of these judges have been compromised and clearly don't care about our Rule of law or what the people want. 

We voted for this but these rogue judges keep trying to stop it, and stick up for known criminals. Now one reason I think the Judge is aimed this towards Venezuelans and not say El Salvador or other countries where people are being deported too is due to them not being known locations where MS-13 originated out of as it's documented they came out of El Salvador, Mexico mostly but the part which leaves us with a major WTF moment is that Venezuela has a communist leadership, and they don't want to play ball with us on these deportations also Tren de Aragua is a transnational criminal organization from Venezuela.

Tren de Aragua is led by Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, alias "Niño Guerrero ... And these people are as bad as MS-13 and are again considered terrorists. SO The fact that this judge wants to help people here who have ties to "Tren de Aragua" is shocking and shows the level of either ignorance or criminal mentality by these Judges.

You see the Logan Act, named after Pennsylvania Senator George Logan, prohibits private citizens from engaging with foreign governments “with intent to influence their measures in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States.” This Violation can result in fines or imprisonment up to three years. Should there be charges, they would be filed by the Justice Department at Attorney General Pam Bondi’s direction.

The law was enacted in 1799 after Logan met with French diplomat Charles de Talleyrand, without official authorization, following France’s rejection of overtures from President John Adams. Logan attempted to ease tensions in the “Quasi War,” partly through correspondence from then–Vice President Thomas Jefferson. Several high ranking and very well known conservatives have been since questioning whether Van Hollen’s actions violated the Logan Act. “Why hasn’t this U.S. senator been arrested for violation of the Logan Act? It’s illegal to conduct your own foreign policy,” longtime GOP activist and consultant Roger Stone tweeted. Also he did this on TAX PAYER MONEY? Democrats previously invoked the Logan Act in response to Michael Flynn’s communications with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak prior to Donald Trump’s first inauguration—a controversy that ultimately triggered an FBI investigation and derailed Flynn’s public-service career. Notes from former FBI agent Peter Strzok included the line “VP: Logan Act,” suggesting that then–Vice President Joe Biden proposed using the statute against Flynn. However, then–FBI Director James Comey reportedly remarked that Flynn’s communications with Kislyak appeared “legit.” Fox News contributor Byron York responded to a question on X by stating that he had consistently argued during the Flynn controversy that the Logan Act is a “dead letter.”

The American Accountability Foundation (AAF) has sent a letter to Senate Ethics Committee Chairman James Lankford (R-Okla.), requesting an investigation into possible violations, according to the New York Post. “Mr. Abrego-Garcia is essentially an enemy combatant in the ongoing invasion of the United States by transnational gangs,” AAF President Thomas Jones wrote to the heads of the Senate Ethics Committee and Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD). “Despite the overwhelming evidence, Senator Van Hollen decided that he would use Senate funds to fly to El Salvador and advocate for an enemy of the United States.”

Jones added: “Van Hollen was in El Salvador meeting with leaders of the Salvadorian government to attempt to secure Mr. Garcia’s release. It is hard to imagine a more hostile intrusion into U.S. foreign policy than attempting to smuggle a foreign enemy combatant into the United States.” The Trump administration presented courtroom evidence proving that Abrego Garcia is a member of the MS-13 gang. President Trump has declared MS-13 a terrorist organization and its members transnational combatants.

Van Hollen in the tropical paradise of El Salvador,” Bukele said in an X post Thursday night.

“Now that he’s been confirmed healthy, he gets the honor of staying in El Salvador’s custody,” Bukele, who said earlier this week that he has no intention of returning Abrego Garcia to the US, wrote in a separate post. Van Hollen (D-MD) again as we know traveled to the Central American nation this to push for the release of the illegal migrant and purported MS-13 member. The White House also took aim at the Democrat for prioritizing “the welfare” of a “terrorist” after the photos of him and Abrego Garcia were shared online Thursday night.

“Chris Van Hollen has firmly established Democrats as the party whose top priority is the welfare of an illegal alien MS-13 terrorist,” the White House said in a statement to The Post.“

It is truly disgusting. President Trump will continue to stand on the side of law-abiding Americans.” Van Hollen also took to social media to share a photo of him meeting with Abrego Garcia, who was wearing a colorful checkered collard shirt, jeans, sneakers and a Kansas City Super Bowl hat .

“I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar,” Van Hollen posted to X, with a picture of the pair sitting outside at a table with what appears to be glasses of water and coffee. “Tonight I had that chance. The administration has since repeatedly defied several court orders, including one from the US Supreme Court, to return him back to the land of the free, and disavowed Abrego Garcia as being “wrongly deported” despite admitting he was booted from the country as a result of a “clerical error.” But oh well bringing him back in won't happen no matter how much they cry about it since he was still after all here ILLEGALLY.His deportation also went against a 2019 order blocking the feds’ ability to remove him to El Salvador on the grounds that he was at risk of retaliation from gangs. Probably killed someone, and or was drug money related. Either way this is not someone I'd want in our country.

Bukele said Monday at the White House that he has no intention of returning Abrego Garcia calling the idea “preposterous.” Amid the public battle over his case, US Attorney General Pam Bondi released documents Wednesday showing Abrego Garcia was an active MS-13 member in 2019 and held the rank of “Chequeo” and the street name “Chele” within the violent international gang. The Department of Homeland Security also revealed that he was accused of physically abusing his wife, who applied for a protective order, in 2021. 

His wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, who has fought for her husband’s release, told The Post she asked for protection from Abrego Garcia “out of caution” after she survived domestic abuse in a “previous relationship.” And hey here is an idea? MOVE TO El Salvador!

Van Hollen flew to El Salvador on Wednesday to visit Kilmar Abrego Garcia, but the country's vice president denied him access to the maximum security prison on short notice. Funny since most Americans believe all liberals in congress & senate belong in prison but anyway. So let me get this right? Instead of working to make his state better we have to watch this liberal moron complain and take flights to El Salvador to meet with an ILLEGAL ALIEN to our country who is a known member of a GANG and was deported. 

Why can't Van 'Swollen Ego' Hollen just F off? He's not doing his JOB in his state but wasting our money, and time and again showing how sick these people on the left are! They defend criminals, and want illegals back but want to murder babies in abortions.

Question here now is did he go as a citizen or as a government representative? Which color passport did he use official travel or his personal passport? If any member of the military (government organization) did this he/she would be court martialed. Did he do his APACs secure travel gain country and theater clearance to go? How many laws and regulations were violated for this grandstand moment? El Salvador is “very eager to help” with the crime and terrorism problem connected to the southern border, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele said during a meeting with President Donald Trump on Monday. “But I want to thank you for the great job you’re doing. I appreciate it,” Trump said. Bukele, in turn, said it was an honor to be there with the President and leader of the free world, continuing, “We’re very happy, and we’re very eager to help.” 

“We know that you have a crime problem and a terrorism problem that you need help with, and we’re a small country, but if we can help, we will do it,” he said. At one point during the exchange, Bukele lauded Trump for his work on the southern border. “What you’re doing with the border is remarkable dropped, what, 95 percent? It’s incredible,” he remarked. “This morning, 99 percent 99.1 percent, to be exact,” Trump responded. Bukele asked why those figures are not shared far and wide by the mainstream media. 

 “Well, they get ’em, but the fake news you know, like CNN over here, doesn’t want to put them out. They don’t like putting out good numbers, because I think they hate our country, actually,” Trump said, adding, “It’s a shame. You’re right. Isn’t that a great question? Why don’t they put out the numbers.” The meeting took place after President Donald Trump extended an invitation, praising Bukele as an ally, supporting his efforts to curb illegal immigration. 

As reported, Trump’s administration “has deported … gang members, including child rapists and convicted killers, to El Salvador.” “Also of great importance to our partnership is your willingness to use El Salvador’s new supermax prison for Tren de Aragua and MS-13 gang members,” 

Trump wrote in the letter inviting Bukele to the White House. “You have shown real leadership and are a model for others seeking to work with the United States.”

Our man Donald Trump and his administration has issued refers on NY AG Letitia James for possible prosecution over allegations of mortgage fraud as James is accused of listing a home in Virginia as her primary residence and listing her father as her husband on mortgage applications. The documents obtained by Fox News which is where we got the report from at the show "The Ingraham Angle," the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) sent a criminal referral to the Department of Justice, accusing James of mortgage fraud Tuesday. The FHFA Director William Pulte said in a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi that James appears to have falsified records to meet certain lending requirements and receive favorable loan terms. OOPS!

They cited a property in Virginia that James allegedly claimed as her principal residence and a property in New York she claimed as a four-unit structure instead of five, which he said could mean she was able to get a different and more favorable loan. Fox News contributor and George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley told Fox News host Laura Ingraham the irony of James getting accused of falsifying records is "perfectly crushing." "This is a person who prosecuted Trump for everything short of ripping a label off a mattress, and among the charges that were brought in New York, in just the civil but the criminal case, was making false or misleading statements to financial institutions," Turley said. "As for James, if we apply the Letitia James standard that she created, there'd be little question here. This seems pretty straightforward."

He explained the Trump administration is saying this was not her principal residence because, as a New York elected official, she has to say her principal residence is in New York. "The Supreme Court just stated earlier in March, in a case called Thompson, that they want to see knowing false statements under sections, like 10-14, not just misleading statements," Turley said. "These are misleading statements. Either it's your principal residence or it's not. Either you're married to your father or he's your father." The DOJ and James did not respond to Fox News on the matter. The issue has been prosecuted in the past, but as Turley said on the Ingraham Angle, the "documents themselves are quite damning."

Retired NYPD inspector and Fox News contributor Paul Mauro told Fox News Digital he first reported the allegations against James on his Substack almost 10 weeks ago. "The documents presented by Sam Antar, and the research he has done, appear entirely authentic," Mauro said. "In which case, AG James appears to have engaged in the very sort of fraud which she alleged in her ludicrous case against Donald Trump. Let's see now, if indeed, as AG James has stated herself, nobody is above the law." The New York Post reported that the documents show that the property James purchased with her father had both parties listed as "husband and wife" in 1983 and 2000.

"While this was a long time ago, it raises serious concerns about the validity of Ms. James' representations on mortgage applications," Pulte reportedly wrote. James brought forth a civil fraud suit against President Donald Trump, the Trump Organization and its senior leadership in 2022, frequently sitting in the courtroom throughout the proceedings and celebrating the prosecution of Trump in the Manhattan criminal trial over the 34 counts of falsifying business records. 

Trump was ordered to pay a $454 million civil fraud judgment in James’ lawsuit against him, which is currently on appeal. So far in 2025, James has spearheaded at least five legal actions against the Trump administration, including leading a coalition of state attorneys general to sue the federal government to halt DOGE’s access to the Treasury Department’s internal systems, and another lawsuit related to the Trump administration slashing grant funding to research institutions and universities.

Those allegations against Charles first emerged on social media earlier in February 2021, the influencer who has 25 million subscribers to his YouTube channel was accused by one teenager of grooming, which Charles denied, saying he flirted with the person because he believed the boy to be 18.

Charles had denied previous accusations, but in video, titled "Holding myself accountable", he admitted wrongdoing. He says there were two incidents one last year and one more recently where he came to be aware that the person he was exchanging messages with was underage. "These conversations should have never happened," Charles said in the 14-minute video. He admitted he could have searched for them on other social media platforms and found their real ages. He also publicly apologised to the boys and said he would take time away from posting on social media to "educate" himself about these issues.

The scandal is not the first time the influencer had faced controversy as back as 2019, he was accused of using "fame and money to try to manipulate someone's sexuality", which he also denied which is a pattern for this one. When addressing why he has been "reckless" in past relationships, he said it's because he's "desperate"... She noted the work of many immigrants to the U.S. who pick crops, clean office buildings, work in the poultry and meatpacking industries and wash dishes in the hospitality field.

"They may not be citizens or have the proper documentation, but the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals," Budde said. "They pay taxes and are good neighbors. They are faithful members of our churches, mosques, gurdwara and temples." Budde's comments come after Trump signed executive orders late Monday to declare a national emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border and pushed for the end the use of an app that allowed migrants seeking asylum to request appointments with American border officials. The man himself President Donald Trump and his administration moved Tuesday to end affirmative action in federal contracting and directed that all federal diversity, equity and inclusion staff be put on paid leave and eventually be laid off. And we as Americans THANK HIM!

The moves follow an executive order Trump signed on his first day ordering a sweeping dismantling of the federal government's diversity and inclusion programs that could touch on everything from anti-bias training to funding for minority farmers and homeowners. Trump has called the programs "discrimination" and insisted on restoring strictly "merit-based" hiring.

The executive order on affirmative action revokes an order issued by President Lyndon Johnson, and curtails DEI programs by federal contractors and grant recipients. It's using one of the key tools utilized by the Biden administration to promote DEI programs across the private sector pushing their use by federal contractors to now eradicate them. 

The Office of Personnel Management in a Tuesday memo directed agencies to place DEI office staffers on paid leave by 5 p.m. Wednesday and take down all public DEI-focused web pages by the same deadline. Several federal departments had removed the web pages even before the memorandum.

Agencies must also cancel any DEI-related training and end any related contracts, and federal workers are being asked to report to Trump's Office of Personnel Management if they suspect any DEI-related program has been renamed to obfuscate its purpose within 10 days or face "adverse consequences."

By Thursday, federal agencies are directed to compile a list of federal DEI offices and workers as of Election Day. By next Friday, they are expected to develop a plan to execute a "reduction-in-force action" against those federal workers. It's been a busy Tuesday for immigration offices in Tampa Florida, after a series of immigration executive actions were signed by President Donald Trump. They include declaring a national emergency at the U.S. border and kicking off a process to end birthright citizenship.

Attorney Danielle Hernandez with DVH Law Group says their phones are ringing with concerns from those wondering what their rights are. She’s now filming a video breaking down the executive orders signed by Trump. “We woke up to a slew of phone calls and questions, so we thought that this was the most effective way to answer them,” said Hernandez.

Hernandez has been an attorney for 15 years, so helping the immigrant community stay informed is part of her day-to-day. However, with a new president, she’s hoping to get one message out to immigrants in the state. “I want people to understand if you do not have a final order of deportation and you do not have any criminal record I’m talking things you went to jail for no one is going to come looking for you,” said Hernandez.

Trump’s administration also shut down an app called CBP One that allowed migrants to cross the U.S. border legally and discontinued a humanitarian program allowing paroles and family reunifications.

As for the order on ending birthright citizenship, Hernandez says that will be difficult to enforce. “That’s the one thing that he has done that I’m certain will have legal checks and balances this is protected in the Constitution, this is protected by the courts,” she said. Hernandez has also distributed cards to families that explain what to do if questioned about legal status and how to stay protected.

“You have the right to say that you would like to remain silent, and you would like to speak to an attorney and do not sign anything,” she said. In Tallahassee Tuesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis spoke about the first steps taken by Trump in the early hours of his new administration. The governor specifically touted Trump’s executive orders on immigration, saying they point towards the importance of a special legislative session that he has called for.

“The President mentioned in his speech that, you know, the states need to be on board here. I think you’re gonna see them go after sanctuary jurisdictions. I know that was in one of the orders. And hopefully in the budget process as well. But here in Florida, we lead in Florida, we don’t wait to see what the political temperature is, we get out, we lead, we get the job done. We have an opportunity to make a difference on an issue that the voters have cared about, really, really intently, for a number of years. This is the time. How many Republicans have been elected running on the border and immigration excesses in the last 20 years? I mean, it’s been like a perennial issue, so now we have an opportunity to make a real difference. We have a great roadmap,” DeSantis said.

Florida legislators are hoping to decrease the number of food deserts statewide. They’re defined as low-income urban or suburban areas that are more than one mile from a supermarket, or a low-income rural area more than 10 miles from one. Often, residents must rely on convenience stores for food. But a bill that would cut through land development regulations could help spur grocers to set up shop in those areas of need. Every Saturday, Raymond Mabry brings his wagon to Tangerine Plaza. He picks up food supplies to last him the week. “I get to eat now, great food," he said. "I must say they have some pretty blessed food."

Mabry doesn’t have a car, and the nearest grocery store is almost two miles away from this shopping center. “I would have to depend on someone to take me to the grocery store. And I wouldn’t be the only one in this position. Believe me, all these people lined up, they don’t have a way around,” he said. He’s lined up to get food that was donated for people like him. “They are the grocery store," he said. "I know it’s kinda bad, but you know man, if it don’t be for them, I mean, these people are saviors." Mabry was there along with hundreds of others. Some came on foot, some in their vehicles.

“I believe the fact that neighbors are out here before the sun rises to wait for groceries proves that there is a great need,” he said. Karen Rae is the executive director of Positive Impact St. Pete. “We are standing right in the middle of a food desert," Rae said. "There has not been a grocery store here for over seven years and that is unacceptable." Some lawmakers want to change that. Rep. Michele Rayner is co-sponsoring House Bill 89, which would help bring small grocery stores to food insecure neighborhoods by cutting through some regulations like land development to make construction and planning quicker and easier.

Rae supports it. “We need to have grocery stores within a mile of everyone’s home so that it’s easy for them to access healthy foods,” she said. Local politicians like St. Petersburg city council member Corey Givens, Jr. says he wants to tackle the problem of food deserts “Access to nutritious food should be a human right," he said. "Everyone, regardless of their zip code, regardless of their income bracket, deserves to have foods in their belly."

Trump grants sweeping pardon of Jan. 6 defendants, including rioters who some claim attacked police... But like promissed during his run for office again Donald Trump has pardoned, commuted the prison sentences or vowed to dismiss the cases of all of the 1,500-plus people charged with crimes in the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot, including people convicted of assaulting police officers, using his clemency powers on his first day back in office to undo the massive prosecution of these people who did not deserve the kind of treatment they have endured over the course of the last 3 years.

Trump’s action, just hours after his return to the White House on Monday, paves the way for the release from prison of people found guilty of violent attacks by a rigged system one we now know was helped by Nancy Pelosi, and other bad actors from within the government and police, as well as leaders of far-left extremist groups that all deserve to be convicted of election fraud during the 2020 presidential election that allowed the disaster that was the Joe Biden & Kamala Harris failed time at The White house. The pardons are a culmination of Trump’s years long campaign to rewrite the history of the Jan. 6 attack, which left the country divided as we all saw what clearly was a terrible event made worse by bad leadership of Nancy Pelosi, and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser. Trump said the pardons will end “a grave national injustice that has been perpetrated upon the American people over the last four years” and begin “a process of national reconciliation.” The pardons were met with elation from Trump supporters and lawyers for the Jan. 6 defendants. Trump supporters gathered late Monday in the cold outside the Washington jail, where more than a dozen defendants were being held before the pardons.

“We are deeply thankful for President Trump for his actions today,” said James Lee Bright, an attorney who represented Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes, who was serving an 18-year prison sentence after being convicted of seditious conspiracy and other crimes. It’s unclear how quickly the defendants may be released from prison. An attorney for Enrique Tarrio, the former Proud Boys national chairman who was sentenced to 22 years in prison for seditious conspiracy, said he expected his client to be released from prison Monday night. “This marks a pivotal moment in our client’s life, and it symbolizes a turning point for our nation,” attorney Nayib Hassan said in a statement. “We are optimistic for the future, as we now turn the page on this chapter, embracing new possibilities and opportunities.”

Democrats slammed the move to extend the pardons to violent rioters, many of whose crimes were captured on camera and broadcast on live TV. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called it “an outrageous insult to our justice system and the heroes who suffered physical scars and emotional trauma as they protected the Capitol, the Congress and the Constitution.” “Donald Trump is ushering in a Golden Age for people that break the law and attempt to overthrow the government,” Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer said in an emailed statement. Former Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone, who lost consciousness and suffered a heart attack after a rioter shocked him with a stun gun, appeared taken aback to learn from an Associated Press reporter that those who assaulted police officers are among the pardon recipients.

“This is what the American people voted for,” he said. “How do you react to something like that?” Fanone said he has spent the past four years worried about his safety and the well-being of his family. Pardoning his assailants only compounds his fears, he said. “I think they’re cowards,” he said. “Their strength was in their numbers and the mob mentality. And as individuals, they are who they are.” Trump had suggested in the weeks leading up to his return to the White House that instead of blanket pardons, he would look at the Jan. 6 defendants on a case-by-case basis. And Vice President JD Vance had said just days ago that people responsible for the violence during the Capitol riot “obviously” should not be pardoned. Fourteen defendants, including several convicted of seditious conspiracy, had their sentences commuted, while the rest of those found guilty of Jan. 6 crimes were granted “full, complete and unconditional” pardons. The pardons come weeks after the Justice Department abandoned its two federal criminal cases against Trump, citing its policy against prosecuting sitting presidents. 

Had Trump lost the 2024 election, he may have ultimately stood trial on charges in the same federal courthouse in Washington in the case that had accused him of conspiring to overturn his 2020 election loss in a desperate bid to cling to power. More than 1,200 people across the U.S. had been convicted of Jan. 6 crimes over the last four years, including roughly 200 people who pleaded guilty to assaulting law enforcement. Hundreds of Jan. 6 defendants who didn’t engage in any of the violence and destruction were charged with misdemeanor trespassing offenses, and many of those served little to no time behind bars.

But the violence that day has been documented extensively through videos, testimony and other evidence seen by judges and jurors in the courthouse that its within view of the Capitol. Police were dragged into the crowd and beaten. Rioters used makeshift weapons to attack police, including flagpoles, a crutch and a hockey stick. Investigators documented a number of firearms in the crowd, along with knives, a pitchfork, a tomahawk ax, brass knuckle gloves and other weapons. Officers have described in testimony fearing for their lives as members of the mob hurled insults and obscenities at them. 

Of the more than 1,500 people charged, about 250 people were convicted of crimes by a judge or a jury after a trial, while more than 1,000 others had pleaded guilty to offenses. Only two people were acquitted of all charges by judges after bench trials. No jury has fully acquitted a Capitol riot defendant. More than 1,000 rioters had been sentenced, with over 700 receiving at least some time behind bars. The rest were given some combination of probation, community service, home detention or fines.

Remember folks also that not all of the defendants who had sentences commuted were convicted of seditious conspiracy.

Kinaya daughter of Fani Willis arrested

The 25-year-old daughter of Georgia DA Fani Willis’ Kinaya Willis was arrested for driving with suspended license, the daughter of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was arrested last month for allegedly driving with a suspended license, according to the report. The report said Kinaya was pulled over in Tyrone, Ga., on Aug. 24 for driving while using her cellphone when checking her drivers license police discovered it had been revoked.

After Kinaya was arrested, her mother swung by the scene to secure her daughter’s 2010 Nissan Altima. “Willis’s mother later arrived on scene to take possession of her vehicle,” the report states. Kinaya was booked at the Fayette County Jail on a misdemeanor charge of driving with a revoked or suspended license.

Kinaya who is a Texas Southern University student is the daughter again of the leading prosecution of Trump’s 2020 Georgia election interference case which is why this news has broken so wide. 

But if this wasn't only the issue as it turns out also Kinata is reportedly pregnant. She told an officer that she had been using her cellphone “due to her mother calling her related to her pregnancy,” the report notes. 

Kinaya claimed that she was “unaware” that her license had been revoked since May 13, also for allegedly driving while it was suspended. She also had her mugshot taken at the facility, which is a 30-minute drive south of her mom’s Atlanta office, before being released. Yup the lady who laughed at Trump having his mug shot taken now has her own daughter arrested and has a mugshot. Doubt this one will sell any T-Shirts from fans of her or her daughter. Maybe some MAGA fans might make one to mock them back for what they're doing to Trump. IF nobody has thought of this yet get on it people. lol

Kinaya has an Oct. 24 arraignment scheduled in the Tyrone Municipal Court and faces a minimum of two days in jail, $500 fine and a six-month extension of the suspension if convicted, according to the outlet. 

The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office did not respond to The Post’s request for comment. Willis’ sprawling racketeering case against Trump has been on pause since June, while the Georgia Court of Appeals weighs the former president’s effort to disqualify the 52-year-old district attorney.

Trump and eight of his co-defendants had asked the Georgia appeals court in March to hear their arguments accusing Willis of misconduct over her relationship with former special prosecutor Nathan Wade who stepped down following the court order brought against her office where either he or her had to step down. Willis has also faced multiple investigations launched by state and federal lawmakers over her alleged misuse of taxpayer money and relationship with Wade since securing the grand jury indictment against Trump and 18 others last August.

Trump, 78, and his 13 remaining co-defendants have pleaded not guilty to felony charges accusing them of breaking Georgia’s anti-racketeering law in an alleged effort to overturn the 2020 election results in the Peach State. Also now with the immunity case of Trump being settled by the Supreme Court it will be interesting if the Trump team also asks for the case to be thrown out against him since he has "presidential immunity" on such conversations as he was still President when this call took place which he asked for a re-count on the votes because it seemed votes had been missing. 

This is what provoked this entire thing as it's ok for the leftists like Stacey Abrams (also of GA) to deny election losses of her own and demand recounts and nothing happens to her but if Trump says the same thing he has to go to trial over it.
