Kinaya daughter of Fani Willis arrested

The 25-year-old daughter of Georgia DA Fani Willis’ Kinaya Willis was arrested for driving with suspended license, the daughter of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was arrested last month for allegedly driving with a suspended license, according to the report. The report said Kinaya was pulled over in Tyrone, Ga., on Aug. 24 for driving while using her cellphone when checking her drivers license police discovered it had been revoked.

After Kinaya was arrested, her mother swung by the scene to secure her daughter’s 2010 Nissan Altima. “Willis’s mother later arrived on scene to take possession of her vehicle,” the report states. Kinaya was booked at the Fayette County Jail on a misdemeanor charge of driving with a revoked or suspended license.

Kinaya who is a Texas Southern University student is the daughter again of the leading prosecution of Trump’s 2020 Georgia election interference case which is why this news has broken so wide.

But if this wasn't only the issue as it turns out also Kinata is reportedly pregnant. She told an officer that she had been using her cellphone “due to her mother calling her related to her pregnancy,” the report notes.

Kinaya claimed that she was “unaware” that her license had been revoked since May 13, also for allegedly driving while it was suspended. She also had her mugshot taken at the facility, which is a 30-minute drive south of her mom’s Atlanta office, before being released. Yup the lady who laughed at Trump having his mug shot taken now has her own daughter arrested and has a mugshot. Doubt this one will sell any T-Shirts from fans of her or her daughter. Maybe some MAGA fans might make one to mock them back for what they're doing to Trump. IF nobody has thought of this yet get on it people. lol

Kinaya has an Oct. 24 arraignment scheduled in the Tyrone Municipal Court and faces a minimum of two days in jail, $500 fine and a six-month extension of the suspension if convicted, according to the outlet.

The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office did not respond to The Post’s request for comment. Willis’ sprawling racketeering case against Trump has been on pause since June, while the Georgia Court of Appeals weighs the former president’s effort to disqualify the 52-year-old district attorney.

Trump and eight of his co-defendants had asked the Georgia appeals court in March to hear their arguments accusing Willis of misconduct over her relationship with former special prosecutor Nathan Wade who stepped down following the court order brought against her office where either he or her had to step down. Willis has also faced multiple investigations launched by state and federal lawmakers over her alleged misuse of taxpayer money and relationship with Wade since securing the grand jury indictment against Trump and 18 others last August.

Trump, 78, and his 13 remaining co-defendants have pleaded not guilty to felony charges accusing them of breaking Georgia’s anti-racketeering law in an alleged effort to overturn the 2020 election results in the Peach State. Also now with the immunity case of Trump being settled by the Supreme Court it will be interesting if the Trump team also asks for the case to be thrown out against him since he has "presidential immunity" on such conversations as he was still President when this call took place which he asked for a re-count on the votes because it seemed votes had been missing.

This is what provoked this entire thing as it's ok for the leftists like Stacey Abrams (also of GA) to deny election losses of her own and demand recounts and nothing happens to her but if Trump says the same thing he has to go to trial over it. These people are sick and I love how "Karma" keeps kicking these people in the face for the harm they're doing to the country not just President Trump.

I wonder if Fani will try and go to her local "black church" and use the "race card" on her daughters Drivers License being suspended! And of course blame it on TRUMP somehow and his MAGA supporters. LMAO I mean at this point they trying to bury him with all lies might as well right? I also wonder if she paid her daughters bail with that "cash" she always has stored in her closet and not in the bank?

How do they choose the speakers for the RNC?

The people who are addressing the convention include members of Trump's family, Republican officials and candidates, officials from Trump's administration, and entertainers, celebrities and business leaders who support Trump.

The convention will also feature everyday Americans who highlight its themes this week, including a decorated military veteran, a teacher who used to be a Democrat but now supports Trump, a union worker who backs Trump, an Arizona rancher worried about border security, legal Latino immigrants who are still feeling the financial sting of inflation, a community activist whose town has been overrun by homelessness, and a number of others.

Day 1 of the 2024 RNC

Donald Trump stole the show at the Republican National Convention on Monday night in his first public appearance since surviving an assassination attempt two days ago. A bandaged Trump, now the official Republican nominee for president, appeared alongside his running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance. Here are the top takeaways from the RNC’s first night: Trump picks Vance Trump called Vance just 20 minutes before publicly announcing his VP pick on Truth Social. The choice reflects Trump’s belief that Vance is an effective communicator who can sell Trump’s populist agenda.

Vance now vs. then Vance is something of a double-edged sword for Republicans, who are betting on his ability to communicate Trump’s message but will have to contend with the senator’s own history. Prior to running for his Senate seat in 2022, Vance was a strident critic of Trump material Democrats are certain to replay for the duration of the campaign. VP also-rans get their moments Delegates and convention-watchers heard from several other Republicans who Trump considered for the vice presidential nod, including South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, Florida Rep. Byron Donalds and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott.

Ron Johnson’s Ron Burgundy moment Two days after the shooting, many Republican speakers delivered cooler-than-usual rhetoric except Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, who called Democratic policies a “clear and present danger to the country.” Johnson’s spokesperson said it was a mistake, and that the senator delivered an old version of his remarks that had been erroneously loaded into the teleprompter instead of a new version calling for unity.

Day 4 of the 2024 RNC

Rest in Peace to Mr Corey Comperatore

The patriot who passed away due to the Violence that took place at the Trump Rally which almost cost a tragic national moment much worse had Trump been killed himself also but he has a name and I wanted to express my deepest gratitude for his work as he has been identified as firefighter. His name is "Corey Comperatore," and yes this man ‘died a hero’ ... Let's take sometime here to reflect on who we lost here with this man who now is not with us anymore because some lunatic thought he would help the cause on his PRO BIDEN Mind and take out TRUMP.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said Sunday following the Saturday shooting that Comperatore was one of the thousands of people who attended the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, part of Trump’s 2024 reelection effort. He died trying to protect his family, according to the governor. Pennsylvania State Police confirmed his identity on Sunday. Authorities have identified the gunman in Saturday’s attack as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was killed by Secret Service agents at the scene after the shooting. The FBI is investigating the attack as an assassination attempt, the agency said. “I just spoke to Corey’s wife and Corey’s two daughters,” Shapiro said Sunday. “Corey was an avid supporter of the former president and was so excited to be there last night with him in the community,” the governor said.

“I asked Corey’s wife if it would be okay for me to share that we spoke. She said ‘yes.’ She also asked that I share with all of you that Corey died a hero,” Shapiro added. “Corey dove on his family to protect them last night at this rally.” “Corey was a girl dad. Corey was a firefighter. Corey went to church every Sunday. Corey loved his community. Most especially, Corey loved his family,” said Shapiro. Shapiro said he has directed flags be flown at half-staff in Comperatore’s memory. In addition to Comperatore, two people were critically injured in the incident, according to Pennsylvania State Police. David Dutch, 57, of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, and James Copenhaver, 74, of Moon Township, Pennsylvania, are in stable condition, state police said in a press release. The Marine Corps League of Pennsylvania, Inc. identified Dutch as a commandant in their organization’s location in Westmoreland County. Vice Commandant Matt Popovich said on Facebook that Dutch underwent two surgeries after being “shot in the liver and chest.”

“These victims and their families are certainly in our thoughts today,” said state police commissioner Col. Christopher Paris. “The Pennsylvania State Police continue to work tirelessly alongside our federal, state and local partners as this investigation continues.” The former president was shot in his right ear, he said on social media, leaving his face covered in blood. A GoFundMe campaign for the victims’ families, verified by the fundraising platform, had raised over $3 million by Sunday afternoon, more than triple its initial goal. More than 42,000 donations have poured in, according to the website. Speaking Sunday afternoon, President Joe Biden expressed his condolences to Comperatore’s family. “We also extend our deepest condolences to the family of the victim who was killed,” the president said. “He was a father; he was protecting his family from the bullets being fired when he lost his life. God love him. We are also praying for the full recovery of those who were injured.”

Witnesses have described a wave of chaos and terror that unfolded after the shooter, perched on a rooftop just outside the venue, fired several shots from an AR-style weapon. As shots rang out and the former president ducked below the podium, swarmed by Secret Service agents, attendees screamed and crouched toward the ground, video from the scene shows. “It was just the scariest thing, there was not a lot of places you could hide there,” witness Amber DiFrischia told CNN. DiFrischia and her husband, Mike captured video of the moment the shooter fired his gun.

The video shows the gunman laying on the rooftop with his weapon drawn, and eventually shows the gunman deceased. When the couple realized he had a gun, Amber said she immediately began yelling at officers and pointing to where he was located. The couple said that many of the officers were too close to the building to see the gunman on the roof. Mike saw one officer attempt to climb onto the roof, but the officer eventually fell back to the ground. GOP Congressman Dan Meuser told CNN he was sitting in the front row of the rally with Pennsylvania Senate candidate Dave McCormick and Republican Rep. Mike Kelly. He saw a man fatally shot “no more than 20 feet behind” them, he said.

Joseph Meyn, a surgeon from Grove City, Pennsylvania, told CNN that he helped carry a man’s body out of the stadium. “Everybody started, certainly, screaming, asking for a medic, and honestly, it was a bloody scene,” Meuser said. He was to the far right of the podium, filming Trump’s speech, when he heard the gunshots. “Just as I was panning back, I heard seven gunshots in rapid succession, in under two or three seconds. I am familiar with guns, I knew immediately it was gunfire,” Meyn told CNN. “I saw him get hit.” Meyn said he looked back in the direction the gunshots had come from. “I saw a man in the bleachers was hit directly in the head … there was a woman who was hit in the hand and forearm, a noncritical wound.”

He said he went over to see if he could render any aid, but another doctor was already tending to the woman who’d been shot. “I helped carry the body of the man out of the stands,” he said. “They took the body to the tent behind the bleachers.” Dr. Jim Sweetland, a retired emergency room doctor, attempted to administer CPR on Comperatore. Sweetland told CNN he heard shots ring out and then “a woman’s voice cry out ‘he’s been shot. He’s down.’”

After performing CPR with the help of some bystanders, Sweetland looked up to see Comperatore’s family and said the look on their faces “is something I’ll never forget.” Sweetland said he wants to tell Comperatore’s family, “Your father died a hero.” As he was leaving the rally, a combat vet stopped Sweetland and said, “Brother, there’s blood on your face, here’s some water, you can wash your face off with it,” the doctor recalled. “That was another American reaching out to help me after I tried to help Corey and to me that’s what America is all about,” he said. Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson of Texas said that his nephew was also injured in the shooting. In an interview with Fox News, Jackson said his nephew “was grazed in the neck, a bullet crossed his neck, cut his neck and he was bleeding.”

The congressman called it a “horrific, horrific experience.” Another attendee who witnessed the shooting described an atmosphere of “complete shock.” “It was too close for comfort,” Donna Hutz told CNN. She and her son were just a few rows in front of the attendees who were shot. She looked up and saw the injured attendees with lots of blood covering the bleachers, she said. The shooting created shockwaves around the world, with international leaders including Biden, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the Vatican condemning the attack and political violence more broadly.

Authorities are still investigating both the shooter’s possible motives and how he was able to access the area with a weapon. “It is surprising, but all the details of that will come out in the investigation,” FBI Special Agent in Charge Kevin Rojek said in a news conference when asked how the shooter was able to fire several shots.

ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT ON TRUMP!

OMG Folks this just happened and right now it's something we seen coming due to how incredibly evil and twisted these people who want to take Trump out are. They just had an ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT ON PRESIDENT TRUMP IN BUTLER, P.A. in the middle of him talking to the crowd shots rang out and he looked like he was hit folks. He looks like he's going to be ok thank god...

The footage is shocking... Myself I cannot believe this happened...

CNN’s ratings crash 92% day after debate

The FAKE NEWS KNOWN as CNN had a funny thing happen when checking the ratings for the prime time shows and saw it had crashed a whooping 92% the day after presidential debate: Nielsen CNN’s ratings bump from airing the presidential debate dropped faster than President Biden’s approval ratings. The embattled network’s prime time ratings cratered 92% the day after the debate between former President Donald Trump and the current commander-in-chief on June 27, according to Nielsen data. CNN’s ratings dropped 92% the day after it aired the presidential debate, according to Nielsen data. In the advertiser-coveted 25-to-54 demographic, the ratings plummeted a jaw-dropping 96%, the data found.

CNN, which announced layoffs and a major restructuring on Wednesday, had the exclusive broadcast rights to the first debate where Biden’s disastrous performance has since led to calls from many in his own party to step aside because of questions about the 81-year-old Democrat’s cognitive skills. Jake Tapper and Dana Bash were the moderators of CNN’s first presidential debate Moderated by CNN anchors Dana Bash and Jake Tapper, the debate was simulcast across other networks, drawing nearly 50 million viewers with CNN garnering 8.7 million. However, those looking for their politics fix quickly flipped channels the next day, plunging CNN back to its cellar-dwelling position behind rivals Fox News and MSNBC. “Nobody cares about Jake Tapper or Dana Bash. They never did anything. Jake was not the star, Dana was not the star, Trump and Biden were the stars,” a former news executive told The Post on Friday. For the week of June 28 to July 7, CNN’s primetime ratings fell 93% to 500,000 total viewers, and 97% in the key demo, to 83,000 viewers, according to Nielsen.

Fox News, meanwhile, reeled in 2.3 million total prime time viewers and 270,000 in the demo during the same week more than double the 1 million viewers at left-leaning MSNBC, which drew 88,000 in the demo. Last year, CNN also got a short-lived boost in viewership from the explosive town hall with Trump, which was moderated by Kaitlan Collins. It drew 3.3 million viewers, but the rating plunged 25% shortly after amid anger from staffers and longtime viewers for giving the 2024 presidential front runner a forum. The move was seen by some as a reversal of sorts for CNN under then-CEO Chris Licht, who had pressed for the network to remain neutral and not give in to covering Trump simply to juice viewership. Others griped that Collins wasn’t given the tools to fact-check Trump, such as graphics that could play during the program. Licht’s successor, Mark Thompson, rolled out a five-point plan Wednesday that included slashing 100 jobs his first major move since taking the reins last fall. Thompson, a former New York Times and BBC executive, plans to consolidate news operations and bolster CNN’s digital business.

CNN ‘speechless’ poll finds Trump headed for ‘historic performance’ with Black voters

Well folks the saying goes "Numbers don't lie..." With that said we know CNN does lie. And has often! But it looks like they even can't believe what's happening and they're about to hit the panic button. You see CNN data reporter Harry Enten was left stunned Monday after polling found that former President Trump is expected to garner a significant support from a group of folks not known for supporting Republicans.

That's right! THE Blacks! The latest polling found dwindling interest in President Biden among Black voters, now down to 70% in 2024 from 86% in 2020. Trump, meanwhile, has cut into Democrats loyal BLUE PILLED Matrix sleeping voters and now they seemed be awakening as there are a lot of them which are getting RED PILLED finally and the figures look like they are tripling his support from Black voters over the last four years, from 7% in 2020 to 21% in 2024. "I keep looking for signs that this is going to go back to normal and I don’t see it yet in the polling," Enten said. "If anything, right now we’re careening towards historic performance for a Republican presidential candidate, the likes of which we have not seen in six decades." DEMOCRATIC LAWMAKER DOUBTS POLLS SHOWING INCREASED SUPPORT FOR TRUMP AMONG BLACK PEOPLE: 'SOMETHING IS AMISS'

Enten said Biden has seen a slight decline among Black voters over 50. However, support for the current president from Black voters under the age of 50 has cratered, plummeting from 80 points in 2020 to just 37 points in 2024. "I’ve just never seen anything like this. I’m like speechless," Enten said. READ ON THE FOX NEWS APP In late May, Enten said Trump’s gains with Black voters represent a "huge alarm" for Biden’s re-election campaign. He said that not accounting for other voting shifts from 2020, the increase in Black support would put Trump over the top in 2024 with 291 Electoral College votes.

A USA Today/Suffolk University poll published Sunday found that support for Biden among Black voters has dropped roughly 20 percentage points since the last election in both Michigan and Pennsylvania. In Michigan, the poll found that Trump has 15% of Black voters, compared to Biden, who has 54% of the support from Black voters. BLACK VOTERS REJECTING BIDEN AS SUPPORT DWINDLES AHEAD OF 2024: ‘EVERYTHING WAS BETTER’ UNDER TRUMP who received just 9% of the Black vote in Michigan in the 2020 election. According to the poll, the former president gets 11% of the Black vote in Pennsylvania, which is up three points compared to 2020. A majority, 56%, of Black voters still prefer Biden in the state. The latest Fox News poll shows Biden receiving 72% support among Black voters. That’s up from 66% in February but still a drop from his 79% before the 2020 election. Among all voters, Trump holds a narrow lead over Biden.

Happy Birthday to Donald TRUMP!

Hey today is a special day for us MAGA fans! YES our guy turns another year older... For us here at PSNews and all our other areas or platforms like the Radio side collectively we want to wish Donald Trump a special day on his 78th day on EARTH! And we need him to stay healthy and last a whole lot more. Trump marked his 78th birthday with a towering ‘MAGA’ cake and attacks on his 81-year-old rival’s age. The more TRUMP talks about Biden the more we love him. So the birthday boy Donald Trump on Friday night addressed the crowd in Florida and repeatedly dismissing his opponent in November’s election, 81-year-old President Joe Biden, as too frail to handle a second term.

“Our country is being destroyed by incompetent people,” said Trump, who devoted large swathes of a jovial speech to poking fun at Biden. “All presidents should have aptitude tests.” The former president addressed “Club 47” fan club members at a convention center in West Palm Beach, a short drive from the former president’s Mar-a-Lago residence. As part of the festivities, organizers brought out a towering, multi-layered cake as audience members tossed red and blue balloons. Setting on a gold-colored base, the cake featured separate tiers that included a “Make America Great Again” baseball cap and the Club 47 logo, an American flag, the phrase “Born in the USA on Flag Day,” a depiction of Trump golfing and the Oval Office fitted gold frames common in many Trump properties as well as Trump and Republican logos. When Trump took the stage, the crowd sang “Happy Birthday” and chanted “USA! USA!” The layer cake was just for show. But backstage, there was a sheet cake with vanilla icing that was served to some members of the presumptive Republican nominee’s campaign staff. The event in Trump’s adopted home state sold out of 5,000 tickets at about $35 apiece, with closer spots to the stage costing $60, according to Club 47 President Larry Snowden. “This is the biggest birthday party I’ve ever had by far,” Trump said.

The former president elicited strong cheers by listing his now-familiar campaign plans, including discussing immigration in menacing terms and pledging to reduce regulations, scrap environmental protections to stimulate domestic energy production and cut taxes. Despite so often scoffing at Biden, even declaring that the president often “doesn’t know where the hell he is,” Trump also offered a seemingly contradictory message to his own supporters. He endorsed early voting, casting ballots by mail and also on Election Day in person, only to later note: “I actually tell our people, we don’t need your vote. We’ve got so many votes.” Before Trump took the stage, Sen. Marco Rubio and Rep. Byron Donalds, both Florida Republicans, helped warm up the crowd, gushing about Trump and his prospects for winning back the White House. It was yet another strong show of support for Trump and came a day after Republicans in Congress sang their own rendition of “Happy Birthday” and presented the former president with a cake and gifts during a Thursday visit to Capitol Hill displaying remarkable loyalty for a former president who was shunned by many of the same lawmakers after the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.

Even after becoming the first former president to have been convicted of a felony, Trump has tightened his grip on much of his party’s base and elected officials. Next month, he is scheduled to accept his party’s presidential nomination for the third time despite facing sentencing in his hush money case on July 11. Trump referenced his conviction on 34 felony counts on Friday, declaring, “In the end, they’re not after me. They’re after you and I just happened to be standing in their way.” Mary Lou and Sue Reardon both came to the event from the Villages near Ocala, about 240 miles (386 kilometers) northwest of West Palm Beach. Both were wearing U.S. flag shirts and matching “Birthday” headbands with candles. “We just feel like he’s our last hope,” Sue Reardon said of Trump. Biden will turn 82 shortly after Election Day in November. His campaign marked Trump’s birthday by compiling a listing of “78 of Trump’s historic… ‘accomplishments,’” with links to media coverage of policy proposals including “cutting Social Security and Medicare,” Trump’s presidency during GOP losses in the U.S. House and Senate and several references to his legal cases.

“On behalf of America, our early gift for your 79th: Making sure you are never President again,” Biden campaign spokesperson James Singer added to the birthday wishes. By contrast, there was no hint of GOP disunity when Trump was in Washington to meet with House and Senate Republicans on Thursday, in his first visit to Capitol Hill since the riot, which was carried out by Trump supporters seeking to overturn his 2020 loss to Biden. Among those attending was Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, who endorsed Trump earlier this year despite not having spoken since 2020. Club 47 is based in Palm Beach County and says on its website that the club’s goal is to keep Trump’s supporters “in our area connected and engaged.” Trump most recently spoke to the club in October, days after the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel. Lydia Maldonado, a local Hispanic activist, said Friday’s event is unique compared to any rally nationwide with the former president and that Trump feels comfortable and familiar with this crowd since it’s his hometown. “The purpose of having this event is pretty much to let him know how much the community here loves him and how much the community supports him,” Maldonado said.

Robert De Niro proves he's a crybaby liar

As you can see this guy has lost his mind! Now who really is Robert De Niro you ask? Well he's a liberal leftist crybaby loser... But Robert Anthony De Niro (born August 17, 1943) was an American actor and film producer. Now he will forever be known as the man who had a panic attack trying to act tough in the media talking smack about Donald Trump and accusing Trump of being the bully! When it's been Robert who's been relentless trashing Trump at all cost! But if Trump says anything back both the crooked and corrupt media gives a spin and try's to make it like Donald is the badguy when it was Robert depends wearing loser De Niro.

The ones actor best known for his collaborations with Martin Scorsese, was at some point before he came down with that terminal illness known as TDS as a talented actor and perhaps he should have stayed an actor and out of politics but oh well that ship has sailed.

De Niro is the recipient of various accolades, including two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, the Cecil B. DeMille Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award. He received the Kennedy Center Honors in 2009, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom from U.S. President Barack Obama in 2016. Which explains his hate for Donald Trump now doesn't it? Notice how all these people who attack Trump are connected to "Obama, Biden, Epstein, Diddy" and that escaped lunatic "Hillary Clinton" and her cheating hubby "Bill Clinton" or as we like to call him "The Stain Maker." Because yes there is the Rainmaker and then there was Bill Clinton.

So as if Donald Trump didn't have enough on his plate with these bogus cases from all these leftists gold diggers, nutjobs, conmen, liars, crooked Judges and the swamp from the legal system! But there is always more morons who still believe the lies coming out of the MSM like this dipshit Robert De Niro. This fool set an all time low for stupid actors.

This tops Johnny Depp asking what he did in 2015 and I don't know now who's got worst mental issues Joe Biden, Mark Hamill or Robert De Niro? But than it became clear this is all because of that Epstein / Diddy connection these people all share that Trump is against.

Remember folks TRUMP went and was the ONLY person who spoke out against Epstein in the mid 2000's when they were investigating Epstein for human trafficking and possibly more. But I do love when stupid people like Robert De Niro here gets off and starts throwing rocks at people like Trump.. Boy I sure do hope he don't have some nasty bones in that closet of his! But of course he do... Let's look at this flower child cry baby cupcake from Califonication. He's not a real New Yorker he's soft like a prostitute in San Francisco.

Legal issues

In February 1998, De Niro was held for questioning by French police in connection with an international prostitution ring. De Niro denied any involvement, and later filed a complaint against the examining magistrate for "violation of secrecy in an investigation". He stated he would not return to France, but has since traveled there several times including for the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.

In 1999, De Niro threatened to sue the owners of "De Niro's Supper Club" in Vancouver, under section 3 of the BC Privacy Act. The restaurant subsequently changed its name to "Section (3)".

In 2006, the trust that owns De Niro's Gardiner estate sued the town to have its property tax assessment reduced, arguing that $6 million was too high and should be compared only with similar properties in Ulster County, where Gardiner is located. The town, which had been comparing its value to similar estates in Dutchess County, across the Hudson River, and Connecticut's Litchfield County, where many other affluent New York residents maintain estates on large properties, won in State Supreme Court. In 2014, the trust's lawyers appealed the decision and the town was unsure if it should continue to defend the suit because of financial limitations (it would have earned far less in payments on the increased taxes than it had spent on legal costs).

This angered many residents, who initially sympathized with De Niro, and some proposed to raise money privately to help the town continue the suit. The dispute was publicized by The New York Times. "When he (De Niro) read about it on Election Day, he went bananas," due to the negative publicity, said Gardiner town councilman Warren Wiegand. He was unaware that a lawsuit was filed; the trust's accountants took responsibility citing fiduciary duty. Shortly afterwards, De Niro directed his lawyer, Tom Harvey, to withdraw the suit and reimburse the town's legal bills of $129,000. Harvey conveyed to Wiegand that "De Niro didn't want to screw the town".

In August 2019, De Niro's company Canal Productions filed a $6-million lawsuit against former employee Graham Chase Robinson, for breaching her fiduciary duties and violating New York's faithless servant doctrine by misusing company funds and watching hours of Netflix during work hours. In October 2019, Robinson filed a lawsuit against De Niro, claiming harassment and gender discrimination. In November 2023 the jury found De Niro not personally liable for gender discrimination but his production company was ordered to pay her $1.2 million in damages.
