Tim Kaine shutdown trying to stop President Trump from using further military force against Iran

So the loser who ran with Hillary Clinton for VP the first time we have a "TIM WALZ" type on the VP ticket.. As both Tim's are idiots who should just retire. These guys are useless but he's some how still a Senator! But Tim Kaine’s (D-VA) tried to stop the war powers of Trump with a resolution, which would have required Congress to debate and vote on whether the president could declare war or strike Iran, was struck down in the upper chamber. The Senate Friday voted down an effort to block President Trump from using further military force against Iran, as Democratic anger festers over the lack of details about the recent strikes on the country's nuclear facilities.

The measure failed in a 47-53 vote, with Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky voting with most Democrats in favor of the resolution, and Democratic Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania voting with most Republicans against it. Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia introduced the war powers resolution days before the U.S. bombed three locations central to Iran's nuclear program, seeking to force the president to get congressional authorization before entering the conflict between Israel and Iran. "The events of this week have demonstrated that war is too big to be consigned to the decisions of any one person," Kaine said on the Senate floor ahead of the vote.

Since the measure was introduced, Mr. Trump announced a ceasefire between the adversaries and declared that Iran's nuclear sites were "obliterated" during the 12-day war. On Friday, Mr. Trump said he would "without question" consider bombing Iran again if Tehran was enriching uranium to a level that concerned the U.S. But anger from Democrats, including those who have said that Iran should never be able to obtain a nuclear weapon, has simmered as they say they have been left in the dark about U.S. military actions. It's led some Democrats to question whether the Trump administration is misleading the public about the strikes, especially after an initial classified assessment found that they set back Tehran's nuclear program by a matter of months. Mr. Trump, meanwhile, has said the nuclear program was set back "basically decades."

Top intelligence officials said Wednesday that new intelligence showed the nuclear program had been "severely damaged" and its facilities "destroyed." It would take the Iranians "years" to rebuild the facilities, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth called it "an historically successful attack" in a contentious press briefing Thursday. Classified briefings for the Senate and House were originally scheduled for Tuesday, the same day the initial assessment was leaked. Officials briefed senators on Thursday afternoon and House members on Friday.

A White House official said Tuesday the Senate briefing was postponed because of "evolved circumstances as a result of recent positive developments in the Middle East." After the briefings, some Democrats cast doubt on the administration's characterization of the strikes and questioned assertions regarding how much Iran's nuclear program has been hindered. "I walk away from that briefing still under the belief that we have not obliterated the program," Sen. Chris Murphy, a Connecticut Democrat, told reporters. "The president was deliberately misleading the public when he said the program was obliterated. It is certain that there is still significant capability, significant equipment that remain."

Rep. Jason Crow, a Colorado Democrat who sits on the House Intelligence Committee, said the information disclosed in the briefing was "massively different than what has been told to Congress over the last year, up until a month ago, about both Iranian capabilities and Iranian intent." Crow said he was "not convinced of that whatsoever" when asked whether Iranian nuclear facilities had been obliterated. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, a New York Democrat, has railed against a lack of transparency and said earlier this week the administration had not presented Congress with any evidence that Iran posed an imminent threat requiring immediate military action.

But Jeffries did not go as far as supporting a resolution to impeach Mr. Trump over the bombings. He and more than 120 Democrats voted with all Republicans to kill the measure, which was introduced by Democratic Rep. Al Green of Texas, on Tuesday. Rep. Jim Himes of Connecticut, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, also questioned the timing of the strikes.

"It's pretty clear that there was no imminent threat to the United States," Himes said. "There's always an Iranian threat to the world. But ... I have not seen anything to suggest that the threat from the Iranians was radically different last Saturday than it was two Saturdays ago." Kaine's resolution was one of a handful of similar efforts seeking to curtail further U.S. involvement in Iran, though it's unclear whether any will be successful in a Congress controlled narrowly by Republicans. Some Republicans who were initially supportive of the resolutions, like Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, appear to be backing away from forcing a vote as long as the ceasefire holds and the U.S. does not conduct any further bombings. And House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Louisiana Republican, called the efforts irrelevant because Iran and Israel agreed to stop the fighting. "It's kind of a moot point now, isn't it?" Johnson said Monday. "It seems rather silly at this point and I hope they'll acknowledge it as such and put it to bed because it has zero chance of passing anyway."

Senate Majority Leader John Thune told The Wall Street Journal this week he believes Mr. Trump acted "perfectly within his authority" by striking Iran. "I don't think there's any question the president has the authority legally and constitutionally to do what he did," the South Dakota Republican said. "There are always questions around these things, but past presidents and both political parties have similarly acted in circumstances where there've been airstrikes at various places around the world where our national security interests dictated it."

The Constitution gives Congress the power to declare war, and most major military conflicts in recent history have been launched under an authorization for the use of military force passed by Congress. But presidents have periodically acted without explicit permission from lawmakers, including during President Bill Clinton's 1999 bombing of Yugoslavia and President Barack Obama's 2011 airstrikes on Libya, the Congressional Research Service notes. In announcing his support for Kaine's resolution, Paul said Congress was abdicating its constitutional responsibility by allowing a president to act unilaterally and warned that last week's strikes could have unintended consequences. "Despite the tactical success of our strikes, they may end up proving to be a strategic failure.

It is unclear if this intervention will fully curtail Iran's nuclear aspirations, or, in fact, whether the Iranians may well conclude to double down on their efforts to obtain a nuclear weapon," Paul said. Those opposed to the resolution argued that Mr. Trump acted within his constitutional authority and that the measure would constrain the president's ability to respond quickly to a threat. In an interview last week with CBS News' Major Garrett, Kaine acknowledged that his resolution could fail but said he wanted his colleagues to be on the record about U.S. involvement in another war. "Everyone in the Senate should agree that this is a matter of such gravity and importance that we shouldn't allow war to begin without Congress having a debate in full view of the American public and members of the Senate and House having to go on the record about it," he said.

Senator Rand Paul Drops Nuke on Senate Floor + HOT MIC on Covid-19 miss info?

So we need to see how Senator Rand Paul spoke about what’s happening where the current massive debt we’re creating due to the bill passed, and the one proposed with the next Bill they want to pass, and like reported here earlier what AOC thinks we all should do which is never work again and collect money with a closed economy or “society” as she puts it…. IN OTHER WORDS this is Rand Paul pretty much telling us why she’s retarded in her view with a solid argument as to why it’s not good to keep the economy shut. Now I have not got a penny from the this “recovery” bill as of yet, and I have health issues, and I’m out of work.

But also remember folks this is election year and the left would love nothing more than to keep this going, and collapse the economy too the point of no return, and so keeping the economy closed is their agenda.

First check out this HOT MIC AT THE WHITE HOUSE BRIEFING! THEY KNOW! This audio was captured on a hot mic before the presidents press briefing on covid-19.

Now check out the video by Senator Rand Paul as he “Drops Nuke on Senate Floor” and again details what we’re facing economically if we don’t re open our economy.

Almost a Billion people locked in at home as COVID-19 Top 300K + Rand Paul is infected!

Now it’s close to a billion people around the world have been ordered to stay home as officials try to slow the spread of COVID-19. The number of infections has grown to over 300k and now is in 35 countries. All non-essential businesses had been closed, while advising people to remain in their homes while major retail outlets like “Walmart, Amazon, and some others remain open they’re working on limited hours, and outside of the major ones most have a skeleton crew working the shifts.

The number of deaths from the infectious disease has topped 13,000, with more than 4,800 reported in Italy alone. Here in the United States, around 100 million people are dealing with the lockdown. Multiple states, including New York, California, Illinois, and New Jersey, have ordered most businesses to remain closed for at least a month, while many schools and colleges across the nation have been closed.

With more than 27k cases (March 22), politicians are divided over the third part of a massive economic stimulus package. Democrats are concerned that companies that receive bailout money can still fire their employees, and will be able to use the money for stock buybacks.

While Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell hopes to have a bill ready to go by Monday, Democratic leaders left a Sunday morning meeting suggesting they will be introducing their own legislation to counter the Republicans trillion-dollar stimulus package.

COVID-19 hit the Senate on Sunday after Republican Senator Rand Paul confirmed a positive diagnosis in a statement on Twitter.

“Senator Rand Paul has tested positive for COVID-19. He is feeling fine and is in quarantine. He is asymptomatic and was tested out of an abundance of caution due to his extensive travel and events. He was not aware of any direct contact with any infected person.”

He expects to be back in the Senate after his quarantine period ends and will continue to work for the people of Kentucky at this difficult time. Ten days ago, our D.C. office began operating remotely, hence virtually no staff has had contact with Senator Rand Paul.

The president spoke about Senator Paul at his Covid-19 update earlier, and I’d like to join the President in wishing Senator Paul a speedy recovery, and hope we can put an end to this mess in washington, get the bill passed, and the money where it needs to go. Word is the DemocRATS are trying to sneak in funding abortion in the current bill, and if this is indeed what’s holding up the bill from being finalized it shows how low the left will go to get what they want.

The House, and Senate will reconvene Monday, and try and finalized the deal… I shall keep you posted when more becomes clear but as of now this is the latest word.

RAND PAUL EXPLAINS HOW Trump did NOT give Turkey permission to invade!

Rand Paul did a brilliant job of explaining why it wasn’t a bad move by the President to remove the 50 soldiers we had stationed helping the Kurds. This is what I was talking about from the moment he made the move. Happy to see Rand Paul talk about this with Glenn Beck. I love Beck’s show, and think what he’s been doing is really bringing to light the hypocrisy on the left. And Happy to see Rand Paul join the party here, and not just explain but blow the entire left out of the water with this explanation.

Senator Rand Paul breaks down the recent conflict in the Middle East. Turkey invaded Syria earlier this month, nearly destroying the nation’s northern area where the Syrian Kurds live. But Paul says we need to look back at the region’s history before we make assumptions about present day current events. In fact, Paul argues the irony of the destruction is that an important truce could develop between Assad and the Kurds, resulting in a semi-autonomous region there. AND, he argues, Trump did NOT give Turkey the green light to invade. Rather, Turkey’s President Erdogan likely told the president he was planning to invade one way or the other, and President Trump had to decide whether or not it was wise to leave our 50 or so US soldiers in the way of a military invasion.

So how much did Obama know about the Russian Hoax?

Rand Paul has gone on record now as wanting to see Obama INVESTIGATED For Inventing ‘Russian Conspiracy’ Hoax the one which all Americans have heard by now you know the inquiry investigator Robert Mueller ran and spent 35 Million of taxpayer money into the witch hunt on Donald Trump.

The one which showed no collusion by Trump, and Russia during the 2016 presidential election and was a giant failure. While leftists and the media lost their collective minds thanks to a narrative they invented, Rand Paul suggested Obama officials should take a turn in the hot seat.

Senator Rand Paul has called on the Justice Department to investigate the Obama aides who forced the false claims into the minds of the public using propaganda and brainwashing tactics. According to The Washington Examiner, Paul used Twitter to call for an investigation of those responsible to the “Russian conspiracy hoax” perpetrated on the American people.

“Time to investigate the Obama officials who concocted and spread the Russian conspiracy hoax!” Senator Paul tweeted.

Others have called for a probe into Hillary Clinton’s campaign and Barack Obama’s administration for alleged attempts to spy on president Donald Trump during the 2016 election. Trump campaign pollster John McLaughlin believes it is past time to get it started also. “I’m very concerned that it’s becoming more clear that the Obama administration was able to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on our campaign based on phony opposition research from the Clinton campaign. Having federal law enforcement spy on a presidential campaign based on phony campaign research is really distressing and the true untold story,” said McLaughlin.

“In retrospect, we now know this is one of the worst transitions in American history,” former Bush White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer told The Washington Times. “On the surface, they played nicely and said nice things. But below the surface, it is clear several people in the Obama administration were doing everything they could to leave time bombs behind that would detonate all around Donald Trump and his administration.”

The bigger picture is that had this gone sourer than it already has, the Obama administration could have ignited a war with Russia long before the tears of the saddened liberals dried.

Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton to become the 45th president, Obama was at it with his “pen and phone,” determined to destroy any chance Trump had at being a success. Obama, who was upset that Hillary Clinton would watch Donald Trump inaugurated as president, decided to shift blame to Russia. He authorized a covert cyber operation to deploy “implants” in Russian networks that could be triggered remotely in retaliation to any future cyber aggression by Moscow, TheWashington Post reported Friday.

The implants, developed by the NSA, are designed to hit Russian networks deemed “important to the adversary and that would cause them pain and discomfort if they were disrupted,” a former U.S. official told The Washington Post. Note the use of the word “adversary,” almost as if Obama’s goal was to begin a war with Russia. And to make matters worse, “U.S. intelligence agencies do not need further approval from (President) Trump, and officials said that he would have to issue a countermanding order to stop it,” the Post reported. “The officials said that they have seen no indication that Trump has done so.”
