Mike Johnson wins reelection!

Republican Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana won reelection as speaker of the House on Friday, emerging victorious after a pair of GOP members switched their votes to deliver him a majority and open the 119th Congress. This was being debated on mostly in the lying mass media as they kept saying he wouldn't win that there was no unity in the party, and he would lose to and thus losing the job to a crazy lying lunatic radical leftist or Rino. But as Johnson said "there were no deals cut" Johnson said he took "suggestions and requests from all members on process reforms" but "there were no deals cut" to secure the gavel.

"We made no deals to anyone, no quid pro quo for anybody on any position or anything at all through the entire I haven't done that in 14 months and I was not about to start today," he said. The Louisiana Republican said he was "100%" confident that he will remain speaker throughout the entire 119th Congress. Johnson needed 218 votes to secure the gavel, and at first appeared to fall two votes short. He huddled with allies and conservative members for about an hour as he seemed headed for defeat. A dramatic scene played out when two of the holdouts Reps. Keith Self and Ralph Norman eventually approached the dais and switched their votes, putting Johnson over the top.

Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky was the only remaining Republican defector. After the vote, Self and Norman told reporters they spoke to Johnson and President-elect Donald Trump, who stressed the need for party unity. They both said Johnson reassured them that he would fight to advance Trump's agenda with Republicans in control of Congress and the White House. A multi-round speaker's election threatened to derail the first day of the new Congress, but Johnson's victory allows the GOP majority to move on to other matters, including the counting of the Electoral College votes on Monday, Jan. 6. Trump endorsed Johnson earlier this week, boosting his candidacy after some conservatives expressed doubts about his ability to lead the GOP conference.

Here are all the updates from a chaotic day on Capitol Hill as the house voted 215 to 209 to adopt new rules to govern the lower chamber for the next two years. House Republicans released their proposed rules package on Wednesday, which included a number of changes to the rules that governed the House during the last two years. In an attempt to avoid some of the chaos that plagued the Republican majority in the last Congress, Republicans raised the threshold to force a vote on ousting the House speaker to nine GOP members. The previous threshold was one member.

Leadership unveiled a new package Friday that added, "The Speaker may not entertain a motion that the House suspend the rules except on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays." Under suspension of the rules, House leaders can bring legislation to the floor without going through the Rules Committee, where a handful of conservatives have blocked legislation from advancing in recent years.

The procedure is often used to fast-track legislation that has bipartisan support since it requires two-thirds of the chamber to pass. The new rules would prohibit that from taking place on Thursdays and Fridays. The package also eliminates the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, restores "family-centric language" and authorizes subpoenas of Attorney General Merrick Garland and other Justice Department officials as part of Republicans' investigations into the Biden family. It also changes the name of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and renames the Office of Congressional Ethics to the Office of Congressional Conduct.

Rep. Ralph Norman, the other GOP holdout, confirmed that he spoke with Trump before switching his vote, and received "assurances" that Johnson would "fight." which is something I figured would be the end resault as I personally understand where Johnson was before as he didn't have the backing of the White House and had to negotiate the best he could considering how evil these radical libs are. So while and I quote here he said "We had a talk with President Trump. We got in there I never know how this stuff's going to come out. I didn't know how people were going to vote," he told CBS News. "Mike gave us his assurances he's going to fight for the things we think are important to the country," he added. "And was it worth taking another hour? Yes. And so, I'm excited with the way it came out, and Mike is too."

All I can say is that I can't wait til Trump is back in the white house... But since TRUMP recently won the a case against Disney and ABC for lying I think it's time that he does another case and this time it's against someone in the liberal left who lied on both tv, and in congress and contradicted himself. Time he is put into court... Hakeem Jeffries this is going to you and I'd say "SIR" but I don't respect this idiotic person enough to say "SIR" this guy is a "FU---NG IDIOT!" And I say this with full conviction folks, and if you think I'm playing when I declare him stupid just do some homework on this truly idiotic moron, and here a complete lie by him which is not holding up well since 2017, and hope it gets him into legal issues. Everyone on the left who lies, and pushes these Russian lies need to be checked, and exposed.

HERE is video proof of how they lie... Check it out below.

Johnson says he told holdouts they can "hold me accountable" Johnson spoke to a group of reporters at the Capitol and described his conversations with Self and Norman, the Republicans who switched their votes. "I told them they can be assured that we're going to have different processes and procedures this time around, because it's unified government, and Republicans have control of the Senate and the White House and the House, so it's a very different situation than last Congress was, and they can hold me accountable for that," the speaker said.

"We're going to have a member-driven, bottom-up process for the development of this really important legislation. And we must succeed, we have no margin for error. So, that's all it was. No promises," Johnson added. Johnson confirmed to CBS News that he spoke with Trump while the speaker ship vote was being held open. Trump's message, Johnson said, was: "Get united."

Jordan On Cusp of Speakership as Biggest Critic Drops Opposition, Endorses Him

Finally Rep. Jim Jordan’s (R-OH) toughest critic has endorsed him for Speaker so a path now has emerged for Jordan to claim the gavel. Fingers crossed!

Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL), chairman of the House Armed Services Committee and vocal foe of the eight Republicans who voted to oust then-Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), had reportedly been organizing members of the Armed Services and Appropriations Committees to vote against Jordan on the floor. Rogers reportedly had preferred working with Democrats to form a unity government over elevating Jordan to the Speakership, earning him significant criticism from conservatives and his Alabama constituency.

With Rogers on board, Jordan sees a much clearer path towards garnering the necessary 217 votes on the House floor. Jordan has pushed for a vote Tuesday. Other Republicans might still oppose Jordan, but Rogers’ endorsement sends a strong signal that holdouts should back Jordan. “Together, our Republican majority will be stronger to fight Joe Biden’s reckless agenda for America,” he wrote on Twitter/X.

It's Jim Jordan TIME! - Matt Gaetz

Well after the house ousted Kevin McCarthy from Speaker it looks like the house Republicans voted to make Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) the nominee for speaker after an insurmountable wave of detractors forced Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) to withdraw his bid for the post on Thursday.

In a private secret ballot held on Friday, Jordan edged out surprise challenger Rep. Austin Scott, a Georgia Republican who announced Friday morning that he would enter the race as an alternative to the archconservative Ohio Republican.

The final tally was 124 votes for Jordan and 81 for Scott, according to Punchbowl News. It was a disappointing show for Jordan, who had worked for days to rally support, in contrast with Scott who entered the race seemingly on a whim just hours before the vote began.

It was Jim Jordan who initially narrowly lost the first private speaker vote to Scalise which for myself would have been a fine nomination but with his health issues being serious and with everything else he does I think his time left should be spent with what he's got on his cards already and with his family. He doesn't need the added pressure. So while while Jordan may be the party's official speaker designee, it's clear that title means very little if they don't fix the very noticible fractured House GOP.

As Jordan moves toward a speaker vote in the full House of Representatives, he could faces the same fundamental problem that ended Scalise's bid which was not having the votes to win. But I think he is ideal or Matt Gaetz could do well. And yes while I'd love for Donald Trump to become Speaker, and impeech both Biden and Harris and move into the Presidential chair until the next election! Having Jim Jordan there if not Trump helps me sleep better at night.

We saw how some holdouts again rebuked Jordan in a follow-up vote that asked lawmakers if they would support their new nominee on the floor, leaving Jordan with the tough task of bringing virtually all of them to his side in order to keep his bid viable. Bur in Jim Jordan I trust like I said so while some Republicans broke for the weekend without bringing a floor vote on Jordan, extending the unprecedented interregnum between speakers and capping a remarkable week of chaos and infighting among the GOP.

Jordan appeared to lose some backing even after becoming the nominee; Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) said she voted for him but was prompted to reassess her support after witnessing “behind-the-scenes politics” and “backstabbing” on Friday. “He is a great American with strong conservative values, but I am not sure if he truly is the independent thinker and visionary leader we need to deliver for the American people,” Spartz said in a press release. “I will have to assess on Monday if Jim is the right person who will be held accountable to the same standard as Kevin was, or just another puppet for the swamp with a better bio.”

At least three GOP lawmakers have publicly put themselves in the never-Jordan camp thus far. It's fewer than the two dozen detractors who doomed Scalise’s run, but with 217 votes needed to take the speakership, Jordan can only afford to lose support from four Republicans.

It's also a near-certainty that more lawmakers will voice their opposition to voting for Jordan on the floor—particularly allies of Scalise, who remain furious over how the Ohio Republican maneuvered around him.

Rep. Ann Wagner (R-MO) told CNN that Jordan is a “non-starter,” and Reps. Mike Rogers (R-AL) and John Rutherford (R-FL) told POLITICO they’re also firmly in the no camp.

Rep. Carlos A. Gimenez (R-FL) made it clear that he still wants McCarthy reinstated, writing on X that “he should have never been removed to begin with.

Scott, who ran as a protest candidate to Jordan more than anything else, told reporters earlier in the day that “actually, I don't necessarily want to be Speaker of the House. I want a House that functions correctly.”

“We need to be a House that functions correctly, that means you have to do the right things the right way, what happened with the removal of Kevin McCarthy was the wrong thing the wrong way, not allowing Scalise to move forward was the wrong thing the wrong way,” Scott said.

Scott endorsed Jordan after being bested for the nomination, writing on X that “our conference has spoken, and now we must unite behind Jordan so we can get Congress back to work.” This is something I think in the end most of the people holding out will also come to when they see that spending more time on this would not help the people. So with that said I do think it's time these people get their act together and stand behind Jordan. And to quote MATT Gaetz himself! "It's JIM JORDAN TIME!"

Nancy Pelosi Steps down!

This is a national holiday! Nasty Nancy Pelosi finally will be laving her position as hemorrhoid of the house.. I mean Speaker!

On her future? Well that is Still in the House, but staying out of the congressional kitchen... IN other words she's going into hiding for now so she's can go away without much notice and hopes to avoid being investigated.

Which we believe she out to be... At least I believe that.

Now she can go eat all the ICE Cream she wants with Paul her husband, and all her sick junky friends in San Francisco.

Nancy Pelosi will still be in Congress for another term, representing her San Francisco congressional district, but she says the new generation that will succeed her in the leadership of House Democrats doesn't need to worry about her meddling in their business.

"Thanksgiving's coming," she replied when asked what advice she would be giving her successor. "I have no intention of being a mother-in-law in the kitchen saying, 'My son doesn't like stuffing that way; this is the way we make it in our family.'

"They will have their vision. They will have their plan."

Pelosi sat down to talk with a small group of reporters Thursday moments after standing in the well of the House and announcing that, after two decades in the leadership, she would not be running for that role when the Democratic caucus convenes Nov. 30.

Pelosi thinks we're all stupid?

Pelosi blames inflation on low unemployment, says Manchin ‘not right’ on BBB criticism… Does she think we’re this stupid? Honest question because anyone with a half working mind can figure out she’s both lying, and this isn’t the case. But as it goes another day lost in her world of ignorance, and elitists stupidity. Check this out folks House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Sunday that skyrocketing inflation is due to more people entering the workforce, and that Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., is wrong to claim that President Biden’s $1.75 trillion Build Back Better Act would worsen inflation.

During an appearance on ABC’s “This Week,” Pelosi was asked by anchor George Stephanopoulos to explain what Democrats in Congress are doing to address rising inflation, which is up 7.5% in the past year, marking the steepest increase in 40 years.

“The fact that people have jobs always contributes to an increase in inflation, and that’s a good thing,” Pelosi said. “But inflation is not a good, you know, we have to contain it.”

“Wages are not keeping up with prices,” Stephanopoulos interjected.

“That’s right, and let me just say what Congress has been doing,” the congresswoman replied.

Pelosi touted the COMPETES Act, which passed the House earlier this month by a 222-210 largely partisan vote and addressed supply chain disruptions exacerbated by the coronavirus pandemic. The bill includes a $52 billion “chips” fund to bring semiconductor fabrication back to the U.S. and a $45 billion investment to ensure critical goods are made in the U.S. rather than relying on China.

“What contributes to inflation? More people having jobs, scarcity of product, which makes prices go up, and the rest,” Pelosi said. “So we passed the Competes Act last Friday – this was a giant step for it.”

Pelosi also promoted Biden’s Build Back Better Act, a $1.75 trillion economic and climate package that is all but dead due to Manchin’s opposition in the evenly divided Senate. Manchin said passing BBB would only add fuel to the already burning economy, but Pelosi pushed back Sunday, claiming it is a “deficit reduction bill.”

“Clearly, he has—,” she said, stopping herself. “Look, Joe Manchin, as you said, is the senator that counts, every senator counts, and we have legislation that is so transformative for our country. When you say what President Biden has done and in this year, whether it’s the Rescue package that has put money in people’s pockets, taken people off of poverty, vaccines in their arms and the rest—”

“Yes, but people aren’t feeling it right now,” Stephanopoulos interjected. “They’re upset.”

“I understand that, but there has to be a cumulative effect, a cumulative effect,” Pelosi said. “And part of the consequences of all of that investment and the infrastructure bill and the rest is that more people have jobs and therefore inflation goes up.”

“Yes, we have inflation,” she continued. “It’s very important for us to address it, we must bring it down, but it’s not right, with all due respect in the world for my friend Joe Manchin, it’s not right to say that what we’re doing is contributing to inflation, because it’s exactly the opposite.”

Pelosi also addressed rising crime in her interview, declaring that the stance taken by Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., who wants to defund the police, “is not the position of the Democratic Party.”

“Community safety, to protect and defend in every way, is our oath of office,” Pelosi said. “Public safety is our responsibility.” I still have not decided which is more frightening, that she believes what she is saying or that she expects us to believe it. Employment is not driving inflation. Refuse to believe that which you know is untrue.

Nasty Nancy Pelosi lying through her dentures again!

Pelosi: “My Chinatown Visit Didn’t Downplay Coronavirus. It Helped Prevent It” HOW THE HELL does telling people to come to nasty ass California’s China Town helping to prevent the virus? Especially when California is now known to be one of the hardest hit states… HE GOT PEOPLE KILLED!!!! You can see this lying old BITCH lie right thru them cheap dentures. Notice when she’s asked how she cringes, and clinches her dentures as she sputters out her lying words?

She’s a OLD CREAM eating out of touch politician who only cares about herself… Oh and bringing down the President. This woman is a traitor to the country and should be in prison.

The so called “House Speaker” claimed that her late February visit to San Francisco’s Chinatown did nothing to understate the threat of the coronavirus pandemic and argued that her trip even helped prevent a worse outbreak… Yeah because telling people that the President is a “RACIST & XENOPHOBE” when he’s actively trying to save people by cutting the flights coming in and out of China to prevent a bigger outbreak is helping matters right Nancy? What world does this idiot live in? Does she think we’re all as stupid as she looks? I mean seriously what planet does she reside in because it’s not earth.

Fox News Sunday‘s Chris Wallace had asked the bitch I mean “speaker” whether she was culpable for a delayed national response to the virus. Pelosi has alleged in recent weeks that President Trump’s initial downplaying of the virus lost valuable time for the federal government to adequately respond to the crisis and needlessly cost Americans their lives. Well if that’s the case than what do you call it when you tell people NOT to listen to his warnings, and come in and have a good time without wearing a mask? She calls that saving lives… LOL listen to her for yourself but this was the main question again folks… “If the president underplayed the threat in the early days, Speaker Pelosi, didn’t you as well?” Wallace asked, and again watch her lie, and say “No, What we were trying to do is end the discrimination, the stigma that was going out against the Asian-American community. And in fact, if you will look, the record will show that our Chinatown has been a model of containing and preventing the virus,” she said… I would have followed that up if I was Chris with “What Stigma Nancy? There was no stigma! This is a virus which came out of CHINA, and you can’t accuse the President of being late if you’re saying MUCH WORSE in reply to his trying to prevent the bigger outbreak. But Chris who’s known to hit hard then back down, and not keep jabbing at people like this left her to say, and lie some more.

She added that her “confidence” in Chinatown residents prompted her trip, saying it was intended to “offset some of the things that the president and others were saying about Asian Americans and making them a target.” What targets? There had not been 1 hate crime against anyone from China during the PRESIDENTS shut down of flights not in this country, and so following up her lie Chris did say. “Forgive me, Don’t you think that when you’re out walking without any masks—I understand this is February, not April, when this happened and saying that there’s no threat [and] it’s perfectly safe there, weren’t you also adding to this perception that there wasn’t such a threat generally?”

“No, I was saying that you should not discriminate against Chinese Americans as some in our administration were doing,” she said… Nobody in the administration was discriminating but she again is lying trying to throw her shame, and stupidity at the President, and projecting herself at him which is ALL these evil left socialist democRATS do when they’re confronted they project it at Trump. EVEN tho he was trying to save lives she caused the death of who knows how many morons who went to California, and Chinatown, and caught the virus… Wonder why California was one of the hardest hit places? Look no further then the so called SPEAKER of the house. Funny since she speaks like a fucktard moron loser whos dentures look like they need new polident. She’s a national disgrace.

President Trump enacted travel restrictions on China on Jan. 31 as a public health measure to stop the global spread of coronavirus, and was in Chinatown in Feb. 24! Guys this is a no-brainer she knew it was bad, and didn’t care all she wanted to do was throw her projected fail at the President like she always does. That old POS cannot go a day without trying to throw some dumb shit toward Trump which has a lot of morons in this country believing and spewing out the same lies she speaks, and that CNN spews… It’s amazing how fucktarded, and moronic some people can be that believe her, the socialist left, Hollyweird… The Health and Human Services secretary Alex Azar announced in a White House Coronavirus Task Force briefing that the president would be “temporarily suspending the entry into the United States of foreign nationals who pose a risk of transmitting the 2019 novel coronavirus.” Those posing a risk were defined as all foreign nationals who had been to China in the last 14 days.

The speaker visited her home city’s Chinatown district on Feb. 24 and urged residents to go out and patronize the neighborhood’s businesses. She also emphasized the importance of being “unified with our community.”She added remember “We think it’s very safe to be in Chinatown and hope that others will come,” she said, adding that she encouraged people to be “careful” but to “come join us.”

She again claims that her visit to Chinatown was not intended to protest the president’s travel ban, but rather to take a public stand against discrimination toward Asian Americans. But yet she does nothing but say that he’s a racist and xenophobe and that nothings is happening… She’s a fucking imbecile and her out of touch 24k worth of ICE CREAM proves that she’s a lunatic with too much money, and power, and she needs to be impeached NOT The President. Look at the video yourself, and if you’re not disgusted by her than you’re not human. Or you want harm done to this country so bad, and wan’t people dead.
