RFK Jr. dropping out of the race help Trump?

OK So rumor has it that following a controversy filled campaign that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has ran and his poll numbers compared to Trump are reportedly planning to suspend their presidential bid. He is considering endorsing former President Donald Trump and reportedly hopeful that he might secure the position of Trump’s health secretary if he wins. Kennedy was an environmental lawyer known for his work cleaning up the Hudson River with a storied last name who in recent years has become known for spreading conspiracy theories about medicine, including vaccines and anti-depressants. He used the popularity he gained as an anti-vaxxer during the pandemic to briefly challenge President Joe Biden in the Democratic primary before announcing an independent bid for president in October 2023.

He had been seen as a potential spoiler for both candidates, given his connection to the Democratic Kennedy dynasty as well as his embrace of the anti-establishment and anti-vaccine views held by certain segments of the GOP. He was polling around 10 percent nationally for the better part of 2024, and even higher in some swing state polls. But he struggled to get on the ballot in many states, though his campaign maintains that he has secured enough signatures to do so in all but Kentucky, Mississippi, Rhode Island, and Wyoming. And after Vice President Kamala Harris became the Democratic nominee, he seemed to hold less sway among voters who were turned off by Biden. His poll numbers consequently cratered to under 5 percent.

Despite Kennedy’s flagging national numbers, polling suggests his exit from the race could still help Trump, with whom he’s become decidedly more cozy in recent months. Trump wouldn’t have to win a lot of Kennedy’s potential voters to make a difference in key swing states; if the race is as close as it was in 2020, Trump gaining even a fraction of a percent from Kennedy could make the difference. Trump probably has the most to gain from Kennedy dropping out. Kennedy has increasingly endeared himself to Republican voters while struggling to get the same support among Democrats and independents. And polls conducted in recent months, including since Biden dropped out of the race, suggest that Trump would pick up more of Kennedy’s supporters.

Any margin would likely be small but potentially significant and his endorsement of the GOP leader Donald Trump could be the tide turning moment in this election. The Republicans tend to see Kennedy more favorably than Democrats, and those with favorable views toward him tend to have more favorable opinions of Trump than of Harris, according to a July AP-NORC poll conducted before Biden dropped out. Several national polls conducted since Harris became the presumptive nominee have also tested a race between Harris, Trump, and Kennedy, as well as a two-way race between Harris and Trump. Trump tends to get a bigger bump than Harris when Kennedy is excluded.

In an August Reuters/Ipsos poll of registered voters, for instance, Harris received 42 percent support, Trump 37 percent, and Kennedy 4 percent, while 15 percent supported another candidate, weren’t sure who they would support, or weren’t sure if they would vote at all. But when voters were pushed to select either Trump or Harris, 49 percent backed Harris and 47 percent Trump a 10 percentage point boost for Trump.

Trump had a similar edge with Kennedy voters in a July Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll. In a three-way contest, Harris earned 44 percent support, Trump 47 percent, and Kennedy 10 percent. In a head-to-head poll, Harris earned 48 percent and Trump 52 percent. It may seem like the advantage Trump gains when Kennedy is out of the picture is relatively small. But Biden won in 2020 by exceedingly narrow margins in six key battleground states; in Arizona, it was by less than 11,000 votes. On the margin, Kennedy’s supporters could make a difference, depending on where they’re distributed. In Arizona, for example, Kennedy is still polling at about 6 percent, according to The Hill’s polling average.

Of course, he might not actually win that large a vote share if he decides to stay in the race; third-party candidates tend to poll much better than they actually perform on Election Day, when their supporters are confronted with the reality that their preferred candidate won’t win. But that vote share would have been more than enough to have swung the 2020 results in the other direction.

The same is true in other swing states, where polling suggests a very tight race. An early August New York Times/Siena survey of registered voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin found Harris leading Trump 46 percent to 43 percent when respondents were given all third-party candidates to choose from. When asked to pick between just Harris and Trump, the gap tightened to 48 and 46 percent, respectively. Those states are likely to be key, given their high electoral college vote count and in most scenarios, Harris would need all three to win. Harris’s entry into the race likely limits the impact of Kennedy’s exit While RFK Jr.s supporters may still be able to make an important impact on the margins, their power to drag the Democratic nominee’s polling down seems to have diminished substantially.

Before Harris became the nominee, there was a much larger than usual number of disaffected voters who didn’t like either Biden or Trump and just wanted someone anyone as an alternative. A theoretical no-name candidate as an alternative to Biden and Trump got about 10 percent in Ipsos polling conducted earlier this year.

Kennedy provided an alternative for a while. But when Harris stepped into the POTUS 2024 picture, that undermined his appeal at least among Democrats. “There were some wavering Democratic voters who just thought Biden was too old, or they didn’t like him, and Harris is just a more appealing candidate for those kinds of people,” said Kyle Kondik, managing editor of Sabato’s Crystal Ball at the University of Virginia Center for Politics.

Kondik said it’s possible that Biden may have ended up winning back those voters anyway if he had stayed in the race and had a typical post-Democratic National Convention bumpBut at this point, Kondik said, he would not be surprised if the third-party vote share in the election ends up being about 2 percent of the electorate, as it was in 2012 and 2020.

Before Harris became the nominee, political analysts were projecting that it would be closer to the nearly 6 percent share third parties got in 2016, which some analysts argued doomed Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s candidacy. “For all the talk about third parties in this election, a combination of the most prominent third-party candidate dropping out, in addition to the increased favor-ability of the two major party nominees, means that there’s just going to be less of a market for third party candidates,” he said.

Kennedy could make more of an impact as a surrogate for Trump. He could help the former president with certain demographics, such as young men who listen to prominent personalities such as Joe Rogan, who has praised KennedyBut the Trump campaign might also be wary of attaching itself to Kennedy’s brand: If the brain worm and the bear incident weren’t enough, he has been disavowed by members of his own famous family and now peddles conspiracy theories not just about the Covid-19 vaccine, but his father’s killer5G cell phone transmissionfraud in the 2004 election, and more. “The Democratic refrain against Trump and his running mate JD Vance is that they’re ‘weird,’” Kondik said. “Kennedy doesn’t make them less weird.” This from a person who supports boys bathrooms with Tampons, Abortions until 9 months, Drag Queen reading hour with Elementary kids...

Weird? Because they're loving husband, fathers, and want to make this country the best it can be. Weird because Trump, Vance, and RFK Jr love our country and want to help our Citizens and not illegal criminals.

Yeah we should be as weird as Trump, Vance, RFK Jr... We need more weird people like that and less brain dead morons like Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Barrack & Mike Obama, Bill & The She devil known as Hillary Clinton. Oh and rest of the liberal tards in Congress, Senate and voting class.

Fani Willis Fulton County Democratic DA Primary ends

Disgraced and Embattled Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis faced voters for the first time Tuesday. This is the first of two elections she's got and first since launching her investigation into former President Donald Trump. Willis, a Democrat, has defeated attorney Christian Wise Smith in the Democratic primary district attorney race. Willis will face Republican Courtney Kramer, who is running unopposed in the GOP primary, in the November general election. However, it remains to be seen if the general election will be competitive in Fulton County, a deeply Democratic area home to Atlanta. The primary on Tuesday follows increased scrutiny from some voters regarding her handling of the Trump election interference case in recent months.

Her case centers on Trump and his allies’ alleged attempts to overturn the outcome of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia, a swing state that narrowly supported President Joe Biden. Trump has pleaded not guilty to all charges and accused Willis of targeting him for political reasons. Willis has had her share of investigations since she decided to prosecute former President Donald Trump and his co-defendants, and the investigations are not stopping. Her office is now being investigated on allegations that it misused federal funds.

Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin penned a letter to Willis on Wednesday in which they demanded information about her office’s alleged misuse of federal grant funds “The apparent and significant discrepancy between the purpose of the federal award of taxpayer money and the actual use of that money raises alarms that it hasn’t been used as Congress intended. The waste or misuse of taxpayer funds is unacceptable,” the letter said. “Congress has the right to know where federal tax dollars are sent and how they’re spent,” Sen. Grassley said. “These federal funds were intended to help vulnerable youth and support important law enforcement initiatives, but the Fulton County DA’s office appears to have used them to fulfill their own whims.

Any official who squanders taxpayer funds should be held accountable.” The Beacon said its own investigation discovered misuse of certain funds. “The Free Beacon uncovered several instances of Willis dipping into federal grants to purchase computers and pay for travel. In 2020, the Justice Department granted the Atlanta Police Department $2 million to help clear its rape kit backlog. County records show Willis’s office pulled nearly $13,000 from that grant to purchase computers, and spent an additional $27,000 on airfare, hotels, and car rentals,” the report said. The investigation comes as an appeals court will hear an appeal from the former president’s attorneys to have her removed from the case.

Former President Donald Trump’s legal team has informed the Fulton County Superior Court that he will formally appeal the court’s previous ruling allowing District Attorney Fani Willis to remain on her RICO case she filed against him and 18 others alleging interference in the 2020 election. The issue with Willis began in early January when former White House staff member Michael Roman filed a motion seeking to disqualify DA Willis from prosecuting the case against Trump and his co-defendants. The motion alleged that Willis had an “improper” relationship with then-Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade and claimed that she financially benefited from both the investigation and the relationship.

On March 15, Judge Scott McAfee ruled that Trump and his co-defendants “failed to meet their burden” of proving that the romantic relationship between Willis and Wade constituted a “conflict of interest” or that Willis benefited from it. However, McAfee acknowledged a “significant appearance of impropriety” and decided that either Willis or Wade would need to step aside for the case to proceed in Fulton County. A few hours later, Wade resigned. On March 18, Trump and several of his co-defendants sought permission from Judge McAfee to appeal his decision, and on March 20, McAfee granted their request.

On March 29, attorneys for Trump and his co-defendants filed an application for an interlocutory appeal, arguing that Wade’s departure did not resolve the appearance of impropriety and had “cast a pall over these entire proceedings.” On May 8, the Georgia Court of Appeals agreed to hear the appeal, giving Trump and his 14 co-defendants 10 days to file a notice of appeal, thus transferring the case from Fulton County Superior Court to the Court of Appeals, Fox 5 reported.

Trump Speech on Super Tuesday 2024

BREAKING NEWS: Nikki Haley set to drop out tonight, and all states called so far going to Trump, Trump campaign manager Jason Miller says, "This is much bigger than Nikki Haley. This is about beating Joe Biden in the fall."

Judge Tracie Porter to suppress votes in Illinois ?

Another swamp creature! So Cook County Judge Tracie Porter put her ruling on hold until Friday, expecting Trump’s lawyers to appeal. They did so hours after the decision was handed down. For now, nothing has changed at the ballot box. If Porter’s ruling does go into effect, she ordered that “any votes cast” for Trump “be suppressed.”

"suppressed" well this sounds like election rigging to me! What they scared off? Border safety, lower inflation, energy independence, gas prices lowering, better work numbers for the people who are here legally?

But she isn't assigned to something like this she was assigned as a Judge for "Minor traffic violations" so wait how did she get permission or power to do this?
She worked at the Clinton DOL while she was secretary.

Nikki Haley Loses BIG Financial Backing

So The Koch family who are billionaires and have a libertarian policy advocacy group “Americans for Prosperity Action” has said that it is pulling back its financial backing of GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley. Following the former South Carolina governor’s performance in her home state’s primary on Saturday, in which she trailed former President Donald Trump, the Republican frontrunner, by about 20 percent of the vote, Americans For Prosperity (AFP) CEO Emily Seidel said on Sunday that the group’s policy arm had decided it was time to “take stock” of its campaign spending. President Trump received 47 of South Carolina’s delegates, while Ms. Haley got three.

In a memo to staff (pdf), Ms. Seidel said that while AFP Action “stands firm” behind their endorsement for Nikki Haley, it’s time to “take stock of where we are and—as we always do—make sure we’re optimizing our resources for maximum impact towards our goals.” She said the group would now turn its attention to competitive Senate and House races “where we can make the difference,” in a tacit acknowledgement of President Trump’s commanding support among a majority of voters in the primary.

President Trump’s performance on Feb. 24 broke records for the most votes of any presidential candidate for any party in a South Carolina presidential primary. Ms. Seidel added, “given the challenges in the primary states ahead, we don’t believe any outside group can make a material difference to widen her path to victory.” She praised Ms. Haley as a “special leader with conviction, resolve, and steel in her spine to jump into a tough race with a narrow path,” and wished her well, saying that the PAC would continue to “wholeheartedly support” her efforts in her run for president.

“Americans deserve a choice for president who brings out the best in our country and who can deliver bold solutions to big challenges,” the memo read. AFP last week was criticized by Vivek Ramaswamy, a former GOP candidate who has since pulled out of the race citing clear support for former President Trump in the early GOP primaries, who questioned why AFP Action was backing Ms. Haley and opposing President Trump.

He lauded Chris Maidment, one such staffer who was fired from by AFP over comments he made in response to the Haley endorsement. “Nikki Haley is totally sideways on [AFP]’s foreign policy stance. She’s anti-free speech,” Mr. Maidment wrote on X on Dec. 1, 2023, in a thread distancing himself from the endorsement. “I’m not giving up this fight when a majority of Americans disapprove of Donald Trump and Joe Biden,” Ms. Haley said in downtown Charleston after the race was called for President Trump. Ms. Haley trails the former president by 61 percentage points in national polling. Her campaign, has in large part, been fueled with cash from anti-Trump billionaires, according to federal disclosures.

FLORIDA REPUBLICAN ASSEMBLY ISSUES DECLARATION URGES DESANTIS TO END PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN

So after he wins re-election because the most people in Florida were very happy with how Governor DeSantis governed the state. But once he was elected governor for a second term it's like his ego went into space and perhaps this was why Trump gave us "SPACE FORCE" ? I know that's a joke and all but we have to look at yes we all here once loved the guy and still most would agree that overall he handled COVID well and has done many good things while governor.

But again after DeSantis was reelected in 2022 and most Floridians believed he could make a good VP pick for President Trump and were surprised when he decided to run for governor. DeSantis had to have the Florida law changed in order to run for President and held back his announcement until the law was changed. He then joined the race with a thud when he came out on Twitter, and it bombed.

DeSantis has not done well in the primaries but no GOP candidate has done well in the primaries other than President Trump. Now the Florida Republican Assembly is calling for his return. They released a declaration requesting that DeSantis come back to Florida and begin governing the state again.

Here is their declaration:

And for strengthening and enforcement of protections against unlawful and corrupt persecution and prosecution of American citizens. All these and more are issues in need of immediate action by Governor DeSantis. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Florida Republican Assembly urges Governor Ron DeSantis to conclude his presidential campaign and return to Florida to continue to serve out the remainder of his term as Governor. Furthermore, the Florida Republican Assembly requests that Governor DeSantis rededicate himself to the needs of Florida residents and prioritize their interests over his personal political ambitions. The Florida Republican Assembly recognizes that campaigning for office is an important aspect of the political process, but elected officials must always prioritize the needs of their constituents. We call upon Governor DeSantis and all elected officials of Florida to fulfill their duties with integrity and commitment to the people. Public service is a privilege, not a career advancement opportunity, and elected officials must always place the interests of their constituents first.

Rep. Steve Scalise as their nominee for speaker? Yes and NO!

So the house Republicans picked Rep. Steve Scalise as the nominee for speaker on Wednesday, but the Louisiana Republican lacks the votes needed to win the gavel and it remains unclear whether he will be able to win over any of the holdouts.

Some in the GOP do think that Scalise is facing grim prospects of becoming speaker as he confronts opposition within the ranks, a situation that threatens to prolong the GOP’s leadership crisis following Kevin McCarthy’s historic removal in recent days. So until a speaker is elected, the House remains effectively paralyzed following McCarthy’s removal, an unprecedented situation that has taken on new urgency amid Israel’s war against Hamas. Raising the stakes further, the longer it takes Republicans to elect a new speaker, the less time lawmakers will have to try to avert a government shutdown with a funding deadline looming in mid-November.

Scalise won out over Rep. Jim Jordan in a closed-door vote by the House GOP conference to pick their speaker nominee on Wednesday. The nomination was a blow to former President Donald Trump, who endorsed Jordan, the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee who has made a name for himself as a staunch Trump ally.

But it quickly became clear that the fight over who will be speaker would not be rapidly resolved as a number of Republicans would not commit to voting for Scalise in a floor vote. When Republicans met behind closed doors Wednesday morning to select a speaker nominee, Scalise earned 113 votes to Jordan’s 99 putting Scalise below the 217-vote threshold needed to win the speakership in a full vote on the House floor.

The question now is whether Scalise will be able to lock down the votes he needs, a major obstacle in his path to the gavel. House Republicans hold a narrow majority and Scalise can only afford to lose four GOP votes on the floor and still win the speakership.

McCarthy’s ouster, which was driven by a group of hardline conservatives, has intensified deep divisions within the House GOP conference and escalated tensions. That threatens to make it even more challenging for Republicans to unite behind a new speaker.

It’s not yet clear when the House will hold a floor vote to elect a new speaker. House Republicans adjourned the chamber on Wednesday without scheduling a vote.

Scalise began meeting individually with GOP members later in the day as he and his whip operation try to convince more than a dozen holdouts to back him on the floor, according to multiple GOP sources.

Jordan is also working to convince his colleagues who voted for him to join him in supporting Scalise as Republicans try to avoid another messy floor fight. Jordan plans to vote for Scalise on the floor and is encouraging his colleagues to do the same, the source said. But it’s not yet clear if that will be enough to secure the needed votes.

“I’m not supporting Steve Scalise, I’ll be voting for Jim Jordan,” Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia told CNN’s Manu Raju. “Well, Jim Jordan presented a strong plan for a us, a detailed plan on how to move forward. We didn’t hear that plan from Steve Scalise. It was more vague answers.”

Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky wrote on X, “Surprises are for little kids at birthday parties, not Congress. So, I let Scalise know in person that he doesn’t have my vote on the floor, because he has not articulated a viable plan for avoiding an omnibus” a reference to a sweeping package of spending bills.

Later, Massie warned that Scalise has a tough fight ahead of him to secure the gavel. “I think there’s at least 20,” members ready to not vote for Scalise on the floor, he told reporters. McCarthy said that he will support Scalise, but said he hasn’t been involved in any conversations with the holdouts.

“Steve is going to have to talk to them all, see what their concerns are, but I support Steve,” he told reporters. Asked if he was trying to sway any holdouts, he said, “No.” The nomination vote quickly set off a scramble to fill other spots in GOP leadership. Oklahoma GOP Rep. Kevin Hern of Oklahoma announced on Wednesday that he will run for the position of majority leader.

According to a spokesperson for Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida, he is also running to become majority leader. A source familiar also told CNN that House Majority Whip Tom Emmer is making calls to members to be majority leader if Scalise is elected speaker.

During the closed-door meeting where Republicans nominated Scalise as speaker, the conference also rejected an effort to raise the threshold required to select a GOP speaker nominee a proposal that was aimed at preventing a messy public fight on the House floor.

The rules change would have raised the threshold to select a speaker nominee from a majority of the GOP conference or 111 votes to 217 votes, a majority of the full House, the number required to win the speaker’s gavel when the entire chamber holds its vote. Scalise has risen through the ranks of leadership during his time in Congress. In the position of House majority leader, Scalise has served as the second-highest-ranking House Republican after McCarthy, prior to the historic vote to oust the speaker.

Scalise is a prominent figure in the House GOP conference and has long been seen as either a potential successor, or rival, to McCarthy. Before he became majority leader, Scalise served as House GOP whip, a role focused on vote counting and ensuring support for key party priorities. The majority leader, his current role, oversees the House floor and schedules legislation for votes.

The Louisiana Republican is no stranger to adversity. A shooting in 2017 left him seriously wounded, with a grueling, monthslong recovery process. Scalise was shot by a gunman who opened fire as congressional Republicans were practicing for an annual charity baseball game.

In August, Scalise announced that he had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, which he described as “a very treatable blood cancer.” In September, Scalise told reporters that in response to treatment, his cancer “has dropped dramatically.”

And so it's being reported that Scalise WON'T get the job due to not having full backing and is expected to drop out. He's fighting blood Cancer which is no joke. He shouldn't risk health for a job that seems he doesn't care to fight to get.

Personally I think JIM JORDAN or MATT GAETZ Should be the next Speaker of the house... I think either is a long shot but both could do a great job. Time to get this GOP house in order and let's get someone willing to get things done for the country and to stop Joe Biden from his over spending.

Trump speaks at CPAC 2021!

The PRESIDENT is live! No not Sniffing Joe Blow Biden but Donald Trump, and he’s smoking the left. This is one of his best speaches ever. He called LIZ Chaney a “WAR MONGERER!”MAN This was good… Trump commemorated the late conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh during his speech at CPAC also. It all started with a nice tribute to the late Rush Limbaugh who passed away January 12th 2021. “I also want to pay my love and respect to the great Rush Limbaugh, who is watching closely and smiling down on us. He is watching, he is loving it, and he loves Kathryn,” Trump said, addressing Limbaugh’s wife.Trump’s speech is the first major public appearance he has made since he left office in January.Since he became a private citizen, the former president remained relatively quiet, although resurfaced to make a media appearance to discuss Limbaugh’s death. Limbaugh died earlier this month after battling lung cancer at the age of 70.

This was a great event, and the house went nuts when Trump spoke, and almost everytime he said something of major importance they went crazy! It’s clear who is THE REPUBLICAN Party! This is why they fear him… They talk shit only after he’s gone cause they fear him in the Physical Form! He’s Troublesome! And he went hard at the democRATS, and the RINOS! He even called out names!!! He was brutal on those who didn’t have guts to do what was right. Now we’re stuck with a fraud President in the white house for who knows how long. But hope Trump runs again in 2024 and he gives a nice hint at the end. Anyway enjoy the footage.
