Eddie Van Halen, legendary guitarist of Van Halen, dies from cancer at 65

My goodness another major loss for the world of music as Eddie Van Halen, legendary guitarist of Van Halen, passes away from cancer at 65… For me growing in the 80s Van Halen were GODS! I literally wanted to be Eddie for a while as I went out, and got me a Guitar like his, and started to learn how to play. I haven’t played since 1991 but that’s another story. But the bottom line is that Group along with AC/DC, Led Zeplin, and Queen were the rock bands to end all rock bands. They were it. I never got into KISS or Rolling Stones, and I was into the Beetles for a bit, and I do like other non rock bands that were soft rock & Pop groups like the Beetles, Monkeys, and later on Bon Jovi, and Guns & Roses but for me when I got into hip hop RUN DMC, Beastie Boys, Kool MOE D, Digital Underground, Tupac, Ghetto Boys, NWA, BONE THUGS, WU Tang, and well you Rap became my number 1 love. But nobody moved me musically without ever saying a word as a lead singer was Eddie Van Halen, and he was also a phenominal human being, and an overall great guy his son, Wolf Van Halen, called him “the best father I could ever ask for.” I know most of us who love our dads will say that but you NEVER heard bad things about Eddie in the press! He was for the most part a very music oriented person, and his love of music is what drove him, and when it comes to Guitarists folks I can’t think of many better. Can you?

Van Halen, helped define the rock genre from the late 1970s through much of the 1980s, and a staple of the core of the 70s and 80s rock sound, and it was copied by a lot of bands! They were real rock pioneers, and icons! So with the loss Tuesday following a bout with cancer this is just sad. “I can’t believe I’m having to write this, but my father, Edward Lodewijk Van Halen, has lost his long arduous battle with cancer this morning,” he wrote. “He was the best father I could ever ask for. Every moment I’ve shared with him on and off stage was a gift. My heart is broken and I don’t think I’ll ever fully recover from this loss.” Neither will the rest of us man… Neither will the rest of us.

Wolf Van Halen’s mother, actress Valerie Bertinelli, responded to her son’s statement on Twitter with a series of broken heart emojis. Bertinelli and Eddie Van Halen had a tumultuous relationship spanning decades until their divorce in 2007. Bertinelli later tweeted a statement on her ex-husband’s death, noting that her life changed “forever” when she met Eddie Van Halen. The actress said she would see him “in our next life my love.”

“You gave me the one true light in my life, our song, Wolfgang” Bertinelli wrote. “Through all your challenging treatments for lung cancer, you kept your gorgeous spirit and that impish grin. I’m so grateful Wolfie and I were able to hold you in your last moments.”

Bertinelli detailed some of the couple’s marital issues in her memoir, “Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time.” She wrote that she and her former husband struggled with drug addiction and engaged in extramarital affairs. Bertinelli was 20 when the two married after less than a year of dating.

“The priest we tapped to perform the ceremony gave us questionnaires so he could get to know us better and offer more personal words,” Bertinelli said on NBC’s “Today” show in 2008. “As we filled out the forms at home, we each held a little vial of coke.”

Sammy Hagar, the band’s lead vocalist after the departure of its original frontman, David Lee Roth, tweeted a photo of the pair smiling and embracing.

“Heartbroken and speechless,” Hagar wrote. “My love to the family.”

KISS frontman Gene Simmons mourned the loss of his rock contemporary. “My heart is broken,” Simmons wrote in a statement Tuesday. “Eddie was not only a Guitar God, but a genuinely beautiful soul. Rest in peace, Eddie!” Another contemporary band, Aerosmith, posted a picture of Van Halen between fellow legends Joe Perry and Steven Tyler. “Rest In Peace,” the group said, calling Van Halen a “legend.” “You will be missed!”

The band was nominated for three Grammy Awards and took home the honor for best hard rock performance with vocal in 1991 for the album “For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.” It was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2007. “Van Halen’s jarring stage presence and virtuosic skill kicked the American rock scene into high gear,” according to the Hall of Fame. “They delivered their music with an unrelenting intensity and musicality that audiences devoured, launching them to superstardom and restoring hard rock to the forefront of the music scene.”

The group’s 1984 album, appropriately titled “1984,” included the hits “Jump,” “Panama” and “Hot for Teacher” — songs that dominated radio and MTV throughout the decade and are now considered rock classics. Rolling Stone magazine named Van Halen the eighth greatest guitarist in modern music history, sandwiched between fellow legends Duane Allman and Chuck Berry.Another guitarist named one of the greatest by Rolling Stone, Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, called Van Halen an “apex talent.”

“An unparalleled titan in the annals of rock n roll,” Morello said on Twitter. “One of the greatest musicians in the history of mankind. Rest In Peace, King Edward.”

Edward Lodewijk Van Halen was born Jan. 26, 1955, in Amsterdam. He was 7 when his family immigrated to the Los Angeles suburb of Pasadena, setting the stage for his rise to become one of America’s most iconic performers. The family didn’t even speak English when they arrived in sunny Southern California, but they all shared of love of music.

“We showed up here with the equivalent of $50 and a piano,” Eddie Van Halen said in 2015. “We came halfway around the world without money, without a set job, no place to live and couldn’t even speak the language.” Van Halen recalled that, when he was a child, his original love was for percussion. But his older brother, Alex, coveted a drum set of his — so he begrudgingly decided to pick up a guitar. “I never wanted to play guitar,” he told fans at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in 2015. “I said: ‘Go ahead, take my drums. I’ll play your damn guitar.'” Eddie Van Halen is survived by his wife, Janie Liszewski; his son, Wolfgang Van Halen: and his brother, Alex Van Halen, who was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with him in 2007.

BREAKING: Shannen Doherty Passed Away Rest in Peace

SAD BREAKING NEWS: Actress Shannen Doherty best known for her roles on "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Charmed" series, has died, a representative for the actress said. She was 53. This is very sad but not unexpected as she had been sick for sometime and recently she wrote about getting her mother ready to deal with her eventual passing. Still the sadness of her losing her life doesn't touch us all who have experienced death thanks to this awful illness called Cancer.

Shannen Doherty has died after years of living with cancer, the statement of her passing "It is with a heavy heart that I confirm the passing of actress Shannen Doherty. On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after many years of fighting the disease," Doherty's longtime publicist Leslie Sloane confirmed in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE on Sunday, July 14.

"The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend was surrounded by her loved ones as well as her dog, Bowie. The family asks for their privacy at this time so they can grieve in peace," Sloane continued. The Beverly Hills 90210 star was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and spoke candidly to PEOPLE in November 2023 about her Stage 4 breast cancer, which had by then spread to her bones, saying at the time that she didn't "want to die."

“I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving. I’m not done with creating. I’m not done with hopefully changing things for the better,” she told PEOPLE. "I’m just not I’m not done.” Following her 2015 diagnosis, the actress revealed less than two years later in April 2017 that she had gone into remission, however, by 2019, the cancer returned. Doherty announced her diagnosis of metastatic stage 4 cancer publicly in 2020. Then, in June of 2023, the actress shared that the cancer had spread to her brain and that she had undergone surgery.

Doherty posted on Instagram on June 6, 2023, sharing in a candid and emotional message that the cancer had spread to her brain. Then, later the same month in another post, that she had undergone surgery in January 2023 describing the fear she felt ahead of the procedure as "overwhelming" to remove a brain tumor, which she had named Bob. “He had to get removed and dissected to see his pathology,” she told PEOPLE in November 2023. “It was definitely one of the scariest things I’ve ever been through in my entire life.” Despite that, the actress was determined to continue working as she lived with the disease.

“People just assume that it means you can’t walk, you can’t eat, you can’t work. They put you out to pasture at a very early age ‘You’re done, you’re retired,’ and we’re not,” she said, adding “We’re vibrant, and we have such a different outlook on life. We are people who want to work and embrace life and keep moving forward.” Indeed, before her death, Doherty hoped to raise funds, and awareness, for cancer research at the same time demonstrating to others that people like herself, with terminal cancer, are still individuals with plenty to contribute. “When you ask yourself, ‘Why me? Why did I get cancer?’ and then ‘Why did my cancer come back? Why am I stage 4?,’ that leads you to look for the bigger purpose in life,” she said.

Her candid comments echoed her words from a 2020 interview with Amy Robach for ABC News that aired on Good Morning America, in which she was equally pragmatic. "I definitely have days where I say, 'Why me?'" Doherty told Robach of the development in her health at the time. "And then I go, well, 'Why not me? Who else? Who else besides me deserves this?' None of us do." That interview with Robach marked Doherty first revealing her breast cancer had returned as stage 4 cancer after she had previously gone into remission. "It's going to come out in a matter of days or a week that I'm stage 4. So my cancer came back, and that's why I'm here," Doherty said on Good Morning America. "I don't think I've processed it. It's a bitter pill to swallow in a lot of ways."

For her fans her passing will be a hard to digest as she's pretty much grown up in our tv sets for decades... She will be missed. Our condolences to her family... Rest in Peace.

James Earl Jones Rest in Peace

Wow this broke my heart... The voice of my favorite cinematic character of all times has passed away as we have lost the incredible Icon James Earl Jones. Not just the voice of Lord Vader but also the voice of many iconic roles. His voice was one for the ages, be it as a Lord of the Sith in "Star Wars" to King of the jungle in "The Lion King" the mans voice was one you can recognize for his voice was one for the ages. But he was more than a voice... He was a true cinema GEM, and one of the greatest actors in the history of cinema period.

Born January 17, 1931 not just an American actor of films but he was also very known for his amazing years of work in theater. He was one of the few performers to have achieved the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony). Jones has been described as "one of America's most distinguished and versatile" actors for his performances on stage and screen, and "one of the greatest actors in American history".

Being born In 1931 at Arkabutla, Mississippi, he had a stuttering issue since childhood. Just picture this Darth Vader with a stuttering issue! But some would shy away from public speaking due to this curse it wasn't something James Earl Jones would do as he said that poetry and acting helped him overcome the challenges of his disability. A pre-med major in college, he served in the United States Army during the Korean War before pursuing a career in acting.

His deep voice was praised as a "stirring basso profondo that has lent gravel and gravitas" to his projects. Jones made his Broadway debut in 1957 in Sunrise at Campobello (1957). He gained prominence for acting in numerous productions with Shakespeare in the Park including OthelloHamletCoriolanus, and King Lear. Jones worked steadily in theater, winning the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his role as a boxer in The Great White Hope (1968), which he reprised in the 1970 film adaptation, earning him Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations.

Jones won his second Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play for his role as a working class father in August Wilson's Fences (1987). He was nominated for Tony awards for his roles as part of an aging couple in Ernest Thompson's On Golden Pond (2005), and a former president in the Gore Vidal play The Best Man (2012). Other Broadway performances include Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (2008), Driving Miss Daisy (2010–2011), You Can't Take It with You (2014), and The Gin Game (2015–2016). He received a Special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2017.

Jones made his film debut in Stanley Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove (1964). He received a Golden Globe Award nomination for Claudine (1974). Jones gained international fame for his voice role as Darth Vader in the Star Wars franchise, beginning with the original 1977 film. Jones' other notable roles include in Conan the Barbarian (1982), Matewan (1987), Coming to America (1988), Field of Dreams (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), The Sandlot (1993), and The Lion King (1994). Jones reprised his roles in Star Wars media, The Lion King (2019), and Coming 2 America (2021).

He was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 1985. He was honored with the National Medal of Arts in 1992, the Kennedy Center Honor in 2002, the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award in 2009 and the Honorary Academy Award in 2011.

From the age of five, Jones was raised by his maternal grandparents, John Henry and Maggie Connolly, on their farm in Dublin, Michigan; they had moved from Mississippi in the Great Migration. Where Jones found the transition to living with his grandparents in Michigan traumatic and developed a stutter so bad that he refused to speak. He said, "I was a stutterer. I couldn't talk. So my first year of school was my first mute year, and then those mute years continued until I got to high school." He credits his English teacher, Donald Crouch, who discovered he had a gift for writing poetry, with helping him end his silence. Crouch urged him to challenge his reluctance to speak through reading poetry aloud to the class.

Jones graduated from Dickson Rural Agricultural School In 1949 (now Brethren High School) in Brethren, Michigan, where he served as vice president of his class. He attended the University of Michigan, where he was initially a pre-med major. He joined the Reserve Officers' Training Corps and excelled. He felt comfortable within the structure of the military environment and enjoyed the camaraderie of his fellow cadets in the Pershing Rifles Drill Team and Scabbard and Blade Honor Society. After his junior year, he focused on drama with the thought of doing something he enjoyed, before, he assumed, he would have to go off to fight in the Korean War. After four years of college, Jones graduated from the university in 1955 with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in drama.

But for all his work over the years it was In 1977, Jones made his debut in his iconic voiceover role as Darth Vader in George Lucasspace opera blockbuster film Star Wars: A New Hope, which he would reprise for the sequels The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983). Darth Vader was portrayed in costume by David Prowse in the film trilogy, with Jones dubbing Vader's dialogue in post production because Prowse's strong West Country accent was deemed unsuitable for the role by director George Lucas. At his own request, Jones was uncredited for the release of the first two Star Wars films, though he would be credited for the third film and eventually also for the first film's 1997 "Special Edition" re-release. As he explained in a 2008 interview:

When Linda Blair did the girl in The Exorcist, they hired Mercedes McCambridge to do the voice of the devil coming out of her. And there was controversy as to whether Mercedes should get credit.
I was one who thought no, she was just special effects. So when it came to Darth Vader, I said, no, I'm just special effects. But it became so identified that by the third one, I thought, OK I'll let them put my name on it.

In 1977, Jones also received a Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album for Great American Documents. In late 1979, Jones appeared on the short-lived CBS police drama Paris, which was notable as the first program on which Steven Bochco served as executive producer. Jones also starred that year in the critically acclaimed TV mini-series sequel Roots: The Next Generations as the older version of author Alex Haley.

The year 1987 saw Jones starring in August Wilson's play Fences as Troy Maxson, a middle aged working class father who struggles to provide for his family. The play, set in the 1950's, is part of Wilson's ten-part "Pittsburgh Cycle". The play explores the evolving African American experience and examines race relations, among other themes. Jones won widespread critical acclaim, earning himself his second Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play

Beside the Star Wars sequels, Jones was featured in several other box office hits of the 1980's: the action/fantasy film Conan the Barbarian (1982), the Eddie Murphy comedy Coming to America (1988), and the sports drama/fantasy Field of Dreams (1989) which earned an Academy Award for Best Picture nomination. He also starred in the independent film Matewan (1987). The film dramatized the events of the Battle of Matewan, a coal miners' strike in 1920 in Matewan, a small town in the hills of West Virginia. He received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for his performance.

In 1985, Jones lent his bass voice as Pharaoh in the first episode of Hanna-Barbera's The Greatest Adventure: Stories from the Bible. From 1989 to 1992, Jones served as the host of the children's TV series Long Ago and Far Away. Jones appeared in several more successful films during the early-to-mid 1990's, including The Hunt for Red October (1990), Patriot Games (1992), The Sandlot (1993), Clear and Present Danger (1994), and Cry, the Beloved Country (1995). He also lent his distinctive bass voice to the role of Mufasa in the 1994 Disney animated film The Lion King. In 1992, Jones was presented with the National Medal of the Arts by President George H. W. Bush. Jones had the distinction of winning two Primetime Emmys in the same year, in 1991 as Best Actor for his role in Gabriel's Fire and as Best Supporting Actor for his work in Heat Wave.

He might be gone but he will never be forgotten as he's sealed a legacy unmatched by many...

(January 17, 1931 – September 9, 2024) Rest in Peace.

Black Lives Matter Activist Oluwatoyin Salau Found Dead! REST IN PEACE!

So check this story out guys 19-year-old Black Lives Matter activist and protester “Oluwatoyin Salau” has been found dead just days after tweeting that a man who offered her a ride to church had sexually assaulted her.

“Anyways I was molested in Tallahassee, Florida by a black man this morning at 5:30 on Richview and Park Ave. The man offered to give me a ride to find someplace to sleep and recollect my belongings from a church I refuged to a couple days back to escape unjust living conditions,” she wrote in the tweet… Guess that’s how you tweet about being raped or molested. “Anyways” so yeah Anyways…. Check out her Tweet below.

According to reports, Salau was last seen in Tallahassee, Florida, on June 6, according to a tweet from the Tallahassee Police Department’s Special Victims Unit. But wait didn’t she belong to Black Lives Matter? Don’t they want to do away with the police? Well what’s one to do in this situation? Do they go on, and investigate? Or do they say “nope can’t do nothing for you man!” Seriously it’s sad that this happened to her but how ironic don’t you think?

The police department has not yet issued a public statement about Salau’s death but tweeted to say that they had found two bodies while investigating a missing person’s case. They also stated that they had a suspect in custody.

#JusticeForToyin is currently trending online.

Now how many people here feel like this whole Black Lives Matter / Antifa talk about the police is starting to look rather stupid. A black guy raped, and killed her, and the cops are doing their job. Oh, and to be fair they’re still doing their job given she was someone part of a group who wants to abolish the police. Hope this is a good example of how stupid it is to ask to defund of abolish the police. IF Not than you’re really really retarded as fuck.

🕯️ Jordan Maxwell has passed away.......... RIP

Friends another important man in the world of conspiracy has lest us… This time it’s Jordan Maxwell, an occults researcher and book author, has passed. His sudden death has stunned his fans and followers but those who knew him well knew he was in bad health for sometime now, and expected this at anyway. We recently had tried to contact him to do a wellness check to see how he was and we couldn’t get to him. He used to answer us without issue when in good health.

For those not informed into this very important man Let’s find out more about him and his work in the occult. With the internet getting more accessible, there is a rapid increase in the number of people who believe in the occult. This belief has given rise to people like Jordan, who claims to have witnessed such acts and sometimes give evidence to prove them. There is no certain way to verify these beliefs because people often claim this knowledge is esoteric. No matter what, Jordan managed to have an impact on a large number of people, who will miss him. You will be missed but you legacy will live on through the people you enlightened and inspired. Jordan was a one in a million and a true visionary. Rest in peace Mr. Jordan Maxwell.

Our dear friend Jordan Maxwell has passed on to a new beginning where adventures await his brilliant spirit. Thank you Jordan for lighting our way. Your intelligence humor and courage planted seeds in our hearts. May we rise to carry on your legacy. Until we meet again…🦋 pic.twitter.com/1u3F57oenu
— CryptoViewing (@CryptoViewing) March 23, 2022

It is official that Jordan has passed and for now there is a lack of answers regarding how he left us. It can be expected that the sources near to him will soon report about his cause of death. He was a prominent figure for people in the occult. His followers have taken over the internet to express their grievances and condolences to the deceased soul and family. They are also thanking him for sharing his knowledge with the rest of the world.

There is certainly discussion about the veracity of the things he has said about supernatural things and extra-terrestrial matters. He has also written books that are popular among the people who believe in these things. His talks and matters have been expanded over various conspiracy theories. Looking at the surface, everything he did seems unconventional and superstitious, but still there people who trust him and are pursuing the path he has shown.

Jordan made claim once that humans are mutating in a certain scientific manners and it was sometimes natural and sometimes not… He has also given talks about the existence of secret societies like the Illuminati. These are only claims without any evidence backing them. There are other claims too made by him like the existence of reptile people and so on, which he bolstered with an anecdote. He left a deep impact on many of his followers, who he inspired to follow the path he showed. An elegant speaker who can defend his claims no matter how absurd they are. He was an explorer expanding the horizon of fields he believed were true. And with a voice made for lectures, documentaries, and to be heard at all times. I remember having his video on and having company come over and them being hooked to watching him speak. Nothing else mattered he would hook you in unstintingly.

Herman Cain died of COVID-19, Thursday! REST IN PEACE!

Sad news guys today we lost once Presidential Candidate Herman Cain who died of Covid 19 after about a month or so of fighting the virus. He had been hospitalized for COVID-19 near Atlanta since earlier this month, with Newsmax, where he hosts a weekly show ‘Herman Cain’s America,’ saying he had been put on a ventilator.

Cain attended Trump’s disastrous June 20th rally in Tulsa, where eight members of the advance team tested positive for the coronavirus and the campaign staff had to self-isolate afterward in case of infection.

It’s not known if he got the virus at the event, before or after it but the dates, and those around did test positive. Which is sad because he was a great American. Herman Cain ran for President in the past, and could have made a heck of a good President. Shame he lost to Obama.

Sadly his age didn’t help in his fight, and at 74, Cain was in the high-risk group for the virus because of his age. He’s also a cancer survivor in 2006, Cain had a diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer, which also had spread to his liver.

He tweeted a photo of himself in the stands with the words: ‘Here’s just a few of the #BlackVoicesForTrump at tonight’s rally! Having a fantastic time!’

His staff said in a statement there is ‘no way to know for sure how or where Mr. Cain contracted the coronavirus.’

He tested positive on June 29 and was hospitalized on July 1.

Cain was not wearing a mask nor following social distancing protocols in the photo from the Tulsa event. But again it’s not known where he got the virus, and given his past cancer, and health issues it’s easy to understand how this could happen. The rally, which only had 6,200 attendees in an event space that could hold 19,000 did not turn into the campaign comeback the Trump team had hoped for, and while it’s about 10X what Biden has ever drawn in the past before the virus!

Trump postponed it by one day when it was originally scheduled for Juneteenth, the day that slavery officially ended in the U.S.

Having the rally in Tulsa was also controversial, because the city had one of the worst race riots in the country in 1921. That anniversary had just passed on May 31. Additionally, an outdoor speech the president was scheduled to give for those who couldn’t make it into the BOK Center, where the rally took place, was canceled when he was in route to Tulsa because the expected overflow crowds never materialized.

The Trump campaign bragged they had given away 1 million tickets but many of those were online tricksters, who signed up for the free tickets but had no intention of attending. Trump was reportedly furious when he saw the sea of empty blue seats waiting for him that night although the White House denied any anger on his part. And he was criticized for using the racist phrase ‘Kung flu’ when talking about COVID-19.

Additionally, the Washington Post reported that videos and photos emerged showing that before the rally, workers removed thousands of ‘Do Not Sit Here, Please!’ stickers from seats in the BOK Center that were intended to mark recommended distances between attendees.

The president came under fire for holding a rally as coronavirus cases were rising in Oklahoma and several states as the reopening process picked up. Few attendees wore masks or socially distanced. Local health officials on the ground cautioned against the rally and a group of businesses sued to stop it a legal move that failed. But yet they had no issues with riots, and protests going on. Sad how there is a double standard, and so far not many others have died from the people who went with Cain that we know off. So I think this was more about his health PRE Covid19, and his age which added to his death. But time will tell as more info comes out.

Cain, the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza and former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, ran for the 2012 presidential nomination. His catchy 9-9-9 tax plan and strong debate performances made him a serious contender. But, in November 2011, he faced allegations of sexual misconduct – all which he denied – and suspended his campaign in December. Cain had been accused by two women of sexual harassment when he served as CEO of the National Restaurant Association in the late 1990s. Later two more women came forward. Cain acknowledged that the restaurant organization made financial settlements to the complainants but denied any wrong doing. But his campaign was not able to recover from the scandal.

In April 2019, Trump considered Cain for an appointment to the Federal Reserve Board but he withdrew himself from consideration, Sadly he’s now gone, and so may he rest in peace, and our condolences to the whole Cain family.

BREAKING: Richard Simmons passed away Rest in Peace

Sad Breaking: Milton Teagle "Richard" Simmons was an American fitness personality and public figure. He was a promoter of weight-loss programs, most prominently through his Sweatin' to the Oldies line of aerobics videos. Eccentric fitness guru Richard Simmons, known for his unrelenting positivity, has died, according to his representative. Simmons just celebrated his 76th birthday on Friday. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to his home after a 911 call from his housekeeper and found Simmons dead, according to police sources. He appears to have died of natural causes, and no foul play is suspected, the sources said.

Simmons had spooked fans just three months ago when he posted that he was dying on Facebook, writing in March, "I have some news to tell you. Please don’t be sad. I am .... dying. Oh I can see your faces now. The truth is we all are dying. Every day we live we are getting closer to our death." He later clarified that he was not actually dying, but that the message was intended to encourage everyone to "embrace every day that we have." Simmons has been out of the public eye lately, though there were reports of a biopic being made about the fitness enthusiast earlier this year. Simmons criticized the reports, writing, "Don’t believe everything you read. I no longer have a manager, and I no longer have a publicist. I just try to live a quiet life and be peaceful."

Simmons posted prolifically on social media, often several times a day. He posted about his birthday on Facebook a day before his death, writing, "Thank you…I never got so many messages about my birthday in my life! I am sitting here writing emails. Have a most beautiful rest of your Friday." He told his fans in March that he'd had skin cancer removed from his face, but was now doing well. "I know some of you reading this have had cancer or have known someone in your life who has had cancer," he wrote. "Promise me you will see your doctor and get a complete check up."

He was born Milton Teagle Simmons in New Orleans on July 12, 1948, but adopted the name Richard while growing up. Simmons has often talked about how he was overweight as a child, which led him to his weight loss journey and pursuit of a career in fitness starting in the 1970's and '80's. His first foray into weight loss came with the opening of his gym, Simmons, in Beverly Hills, California. He released his first book, "Never Say Diet," in 1980. The book was the first of 12 he would release in his career.

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Passes away at 87

The left has lost a big voice, and powerful Justice as the longtime Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has passed away at 87 years old, and leaves a major seat to be filled by President Trump or Biden should he win. Now while her death has been expected due to her age, and poor health it’s still a shock whenever these people pass away. This year the democRATS has lost 3 major players to illness. Shows that you can be loaded with tons of cash, and years of good living, and time, age, and death will catch us all.

Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg told ABC News, “Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died this evening surrounded by her family at her home in Washington, D.C., due to complications of metastatic pancreas cancer.” According to CNN, she battled cancer five times, including a recent bout that landed her in the hospital in January. She continued to serve on the Court until her death. Appointed to the Supreme Court by President Bill Clinton in 1993 she was the second of four women ever to serve on the high court, and the first Jewish woman.

She was the Court’s most liberal member, consistently voting to affirm abortion, same-sex marriage, and immigration rights. This folks is why it’s very important that President Trump appoints a new Justice before his re-election so we make sure we don’t get another liberal in there. Just in case. Ginsburg came to be known as “the Notorious R.B.G.” and was at the center of the 2018 movie “On the Basis of Sex,” starring Felicity Jones. The doc “RBG” from that same year earned Oscar nominations for Best Documentary Feature and Best Original Song for “I’ll Fight.”

Ginsburg is survived by her daughter Jane and son James. Her husband Martin died in 2010. They were married for 56 years… Check out some of these reactions to the death on social media:

Crooked Hillary Clinton wrote, “Justice Ginsburg paved the way for so many women, including me. There will never be another like her. Thank you RBG.”

Pea Brain Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted,”We have lost a giant in the history of our nation with the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. It is heartbreaking that in her final moments she was, as are many others, preoccupied with what would happen after her passing. I want to make one thing clear: we can, and must, fight.”

No Talent Meghan McCain posted, “Rest in peace Ruth Bader Ginsburg – a true legend, an iconoclast, a glass ceiling breaker, and a feminist icon. She changed the world in so many incredible ways. Prayers, love and strength to her family during this dark time. I hope you have fun with [late Supreme Court Justice] Antonin Scalia in heaven…”

Who? Viola Davis shared an emotional message, “No 2020!!! No! No! Not now! Not this WOMAN!!! Please work your supreme magic, brilliant mind, and courage from Heaven!! Help us down here! Thank you for your service Queen!! Rest in glorious peace.”

Nobody Kerry Washington tweeted, “Her rest is earned. It is our turn to fight.”

Not Relevent Mandy Moore shared, “Thank you, RBG for devoting your life, love and legacy to the rule of law. What a trailblazer in every way. What an immeasurable loss in every way. We will honor you by voting to protect all that you stood for. #rbg #heartbroken”

While every death is sad, and our condolences go out to her family, and friends. Her politics, and who she was alligned too was horrible, and I hope this allows for another concervative Judge.

Tragedy on set of film & "Rust" takes the life of DP Halyna Hutchins REST IN PEACE!

Now this is just off the press folks the same on set mistake which took the life of the son of legendary Bruce Lee Actor Brandon Lee, who died following an accident on the set of the movie The Crow in 1993 has now happened again, and this time it’s none other then his daughter hating, Trump hating, SNL loved and American joke Alec Baldwin who while on New Mexico Set Of the movie ‘Rust’ DP Halyna Hutchins Dies After Prop Gun Misfire. The Alec Baldwin starring Western; Director Joel Souza Also Injured during the accidental shooting.

At least from reports it’s an accident but how does an accident like this happen? as of Oct. 21 when actor Alec Baldwin, 63, “discharged” a prop gun that fatally killed a crew member on his new film Rust. Director of Photography Halyna Hutchins died after the on-set incident while director Joel Souza, 42 was injured, Santa Fe Police confirmed to DEADLINE. Per the outlet, Baldwin was “unaware” of the “type of ammunition in the gun” which ultimately lead to the fateful accident. Which is unlike what happened to Brandon Lee in that he was hit by a “blank” bullet which was jammed in the gun so when they loaded the next blank and shot him from up close the explosion was so big even for a blank it destroyed his intestines, and he died on the spot.

Police have confirmed the report, although the investigation into the incident is still ongoing. We had tried to reach out to Alec’s rep for comment, but we did not yet receive a response. Further more he’s probably not going to speak about this since he’s a heartless ahole, and he’s a communist so he doesn’t give a crap about anyone but himself.

The Western which is set in 1880s Kansas and it’s written and directed by Souza. Hutchins, a talented DP in the industry, was leading the visuals for the project. On her official website’s “about” section, Halyna described herself as a “Los Angeles based union cinematographer.” She also graduated from the AFI conservatory in 2015 and had since worked on a series of narrative shorts and features. The 42-year-old was also one of the 8 Female Cinematographer’s for the 21st Century Fox DP Lab and was featured as one of the film industry’s “Rising Stars of Cinematography 2019” in American Cinematographer.

Speaking of her time at AFI, Halyna told the magazine that it made her “rethink” who she was as an artist and how she wanted to work in the industry. “One thing I learned is that cinematography is not something you do by yourself. It’s a group [project]. You need to develop your own vision, but the key to a successful film is communication with your director and your team.” Halyna describes herself as originally hailing from Ukraine and then growing up on “a Soviet military base in the Arctic Circle” what a unique locale! The late artist also shared that she had a graduate degree in journalism from Kyiv National University in Ukraine and previously dabbled in investigative journalism “with British documentary productions in Europe” before settling in to cinematography. She also spoke both Russian and English, setting her apart for work in the states.

Taking whatever production assistant jobs she could in America, Halyna also shared with American Cinematographer that she worked in fashion photography as well to learn the “aesthetics of lighting how you create the mood, the feeling.” Across Halyna’s Instagram and website reels are numerous stills and clips from short films and features she’s worked on, ranging in genre and aesthetics. Since finishing her graduate work at AFI in 2015, she completed two features, Snowbound in Colorado and Darlin’. “Right now, I’m just really interested in finding fruitful collaborations,” she told American Cinematographer regarding her quest for continued experience. “To me, it’s the collaborative effort between creative minds that elevate each other’s work.”

She added, “I’m just hoping to find my Wong Kar-wai,” citing her inspiration from the renowned Hong Kong director who specializes in bold, immersive, atmospheric works. So there is no surprise Halyna was employed for a major feature starring a well known actor like Baldwin who has not had a hit film in what a decade or two? But considering her work over the years she was very qualified for the job. In a post from Oct. 2020, the DP shared a poster from a film she photographed, Sunday’s Child, which was accepted to a few film festivals while the horror feature, Darlin’, premiered at the SXSW film festival in 2019. The film, directed by Pollyanna McIntosh (The Walking Dead), also played internationally at the Edinburgh Film Festival, Fantasia, London FrightFest, and more.

In some of Halyna’s last posts on Instagram, she shared photos from the New Mexico desert on the set of Rust. One of the shots perhaps the most touching was a large group pic of the film cast and crew as Halyna shouted out the IATSE, or The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees union.

“Standing in #IAsolidarity with our @IATSE crew here in New Mexico on RUST,” Halyna wrote in the caption, reposting from another person working on the production. The historic strike, which honors the needs of the tireless workers in Hollywood who mostly operate behind the scenes, is still putting pressure on Hollywood to negotiate better working conditions and better pay.

Although we’re heartbroken at the tragedy of Halyna’s passing, her final days of living her passion and supporting her fellow artists to live their dreams with dignity and purpose is something to be acknowledged, remembered and cherished by us all. Rest in Peace…
