Rep. Ilhan Omar REFUSED to show up for a Minnesota fraud hearing about her involvement in Feeding Our Future fraud inquiry!

So on April 21, 2026, the Minnesota House Fraud Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy Committee (GOP-led) held a hearing examining the Feeding Our Future scandal a major COVID-era fraud case involving the theft of over $250 million (with broader related Minnesota fraud estimates reaching into the billions) from federal child nutrition programs meant for meals. Committee Chair Rep. Kristin Robbins (R) stated that her panel made multiple attempts to invite or request testimony from Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) regarding her role, but Omar did not respond and did not appear.

In her absence, the committee played video footage of Omar promoting her 2020 MEALS Act (Maintaining Essential Access to Lunch for Students Act) at the Safari Restaurant identified as the top meal site sponsor tied to millions in fraudulent claims.

Context on the MEALS Act and alleged Omar introduced the MEALS Act during the pandemic, which provided waivers and loosened eligibility requirements, allowing non-school-based distributors and caterers to more easily participate in and claim reimbursements from federal child nutrition programs. Critics on the committee argued this "loosened the guardrails" and helped enable the widespread fraud in Minnesota's Feeding Our Future program, where operators submitted claims for meals that were never served (often using fake sites, inflated numbers, and laundered funds for luxuries).

Omar has previously defended the legislation, stating it helped feed kids during the emergency and that she has "absolutely" no regrets. She has also called out the fraud in public statements early on and denied deeper involvement. There is no public evidence presented so far of Omar personally receiving funds from the scheme or being criminally charged (dozens of others, many in Minnesota's Somali community, have been charged or pleaded guilty). However, separate reporting has noted past campaign donations from some defendants (which her campaign later donated to charity) and events held at sites later implicated.

The state committee plans to follow up, potentially seeking written responses from Omar on why she sponsored the bill and its effects. Broader picture. This fits into ongoing scrutiny of massive fraud in Minnesota social services programs during the COVID period, which federal prosecutors and state officials have described as one of the largest of its kind. Investigations have continued into 2025–2026 under both prior and current administrations, with guilty pleas still occurring.

Omar's district includes a large Somali immigrant community, where much of the charged activity was concentrated, and she has criticized aggressive federal probes as causing "confusion and chaos" targeting immigrants. Refusing a voluntary invitation to a state legislative hearing isn't legally equivalent to defying a subpoena (no subpoena was issued here), but it fuels criticism that a sitting member of Congress from the affected area should address questions about legislation tied to such a costly scandal. Transparency and accountability matter regardless of party especially with taxpayer dollars involved on this scale.

Further federal or congressional oversight (e.g., via House committees) could compel more answers if pursued.

Well this is both bananas and rice! LOL

Yet another FAFO story of this one deals with this Muslim ungrateful moron Nasra Ahmed, the woman who went viral for saying “Somalia is more then bananas and rice,” has been arrested in Minneapolis for allegedly assaulting federal officers. My god these people got some nerve. For Dinner in prison before they deport her she should only get "bananas and rice." Sixteen individuals who violently assaulted federal officers and federal property over the past several weeks have been charged in criminal complaints, announced United States Attorney Daniel N. Rosen.

Rosen was joined in the announcement by HSI Acting Executive Associate Director, Homeland Security Investigations John A. Condon.

Among those charged were:

Gillian Etherington, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, who is alleged to have rammed her car into a United States Border Patrol vehicle and drove away.

Border Patrol Agents followed Etherington who drove into oncoming traffic and struck an unmarked law enforcement vehicle near a high school. Etherington refused to comply with Agents’ commands to exit her car. As Agents attempted to remove her from the car, Etherington put the car in gear.

Agents were ultimately able to pull Etherington from the car, but she resisted arrest and yelled: “Free Palestine!” Etherington also tried to grab one of the Border Patrol Agent’s firearm, which fell to the ground and out of the Agent’s reach.

Paul Johnson, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, who is alleged to have been following Customs and Border Protection Officers in his van. Johnson exited his van and approached the CBP Officers’ vehicle with a baseball bat in his hand. After Officers told Johnson to stop approaching and get back, Johnson returned to his van, left the baseball bat, but grabbed a canister of pressurized oleoresin capsicum (“pepper spray”), and sprayed the CBP Officer’s vehicle.

When Officers attempted to arrest Johnson who had entered his running van he resisted arrest, attempted to put the van in gear, and sprayed the faces of multiple officers with pepper spray. Matrim James Charlebois, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, who is alleged to have stood in front of a law enforcement vehicle and obstructed its path. Charlebois then used two hands to swing a metal cane at federal law enforcement officer, narrowly missing the officer’s head. Charlebois then struck a federal law enforcement vehicle multiple times with the metal cane.

Ilan Wilson-Soler, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, who is alleged to have approached federal law enforcement officers with a large fire extinguisher, pointed it at the officers, sprayed them, and then ran away. While Wilson-Soler was running away, he collided with another federal law enforcement officer and hit her in the knee with the fire extinguisher.

Abdikadir Noor, of St. Cloud, Minnesota, who is alleged to have thrown a brick at Immigration and Customs Enforcement Officers. When Officers attempted to arrest Noor, he fled and, once caught, attempted to avoid being handcuffed by grappling with the Officers.

Margaret Sager, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, who is alleged to have jumped on the back of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement Officer and put her arm around his neck in what appeared to be a strangle hold. At the time of Sager’s assault on the Officer, the Officer had arrested an illegal alien and was escorting the illegal alien to a vehicle for transportation.

Also charged were Kirubele Adbebe of Rosemont, Minnesota; Nasra Ahmed of Woodberry, Minnesota; Helicity Borowska of Mahtomedi, Minnesota; Joshua Doyle of Robbinsdale, Minnesota; Nitzana Flores of South Haven, Minnesota; Christina Rank of St. Paul, Minnesota; Madeline Tschida of Becker, Minnesota; Alice Valentine of St. Cloud, Minnesota; William Vermie of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Quentin Williams of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.

United States Attorney Rosen stated, “We do not tolerate assaults on federal officers and those who commit that crime will be held accountable.” and continued with “People need to understand their actions have consequences and that obstruction, assault and impeding is not protected under the disguise of protesting,” said HSI Acting Executive Associate Director, Homeland Security Investigations John A. Condon. “We will continue to work with the Department of Justice to ensure anyone that oversteps that line of peaceful protester to illegal agitator will be apprehended and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.”

A complaint is only a charge and is not evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent. As a felony trial cannot be held on a complaint, a decision to seek an indictment will be made in the near future. These cases are being investigated by Homeland Security Investigations.

This case is part of Operation Take Back America a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the Department of Justice to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.

Ilhan Omar to be deported?

They need to stop messing around with this evil clown Ilhan Omar. She needs to be sent packing back to Somalia and never allowed back into this country as she is clearly an enemy of this country. How she's being voted into office is beyond me as she's not doing a good job in any capacity and has shown flashes of being pure evil and corrupt. Now with Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) circulating a petition for his supporters to sign to deport Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) needs to happen. Gil had previously called on Omar to be deported, arguing she is more loyal to undocumented immigrants in the United States from her native Somalia than to the United States. The petition and an email circulated by Gill were first reported by Axios.

Omar became a U.S. citizen in 2000 after fleeing her native country due to civil war. The Minnesota representative has been the target of Republican insults following her staunch criticism of President Trump during his first administration. “Friend, we should have never let Ilhan Omar into our country. And frankly, America would be a much better place if she were to be sent back to Somalia,” Gill wrote in the email which included a picture of him next to President Trump. As in the past, he criticized Omar for discussing how to evade Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. “Recently, it came out that Ilhan Omar is hosting free workshops for Somalians, who are in our country illegally, on how to evade ICE and deportation. It could not be more blatant: Ilhan Omar is more loyal to illegal Somalians than she is to the United States, or the office she was elected to,” he added. Several Democrats criticized the most recent remarks by Gil, a freshman member of the new Congress.

“⁦@SpeakerJohnson⁩, get control of your caucus before we have to take other actions. This is demeaning & embarrassing,” Rep. Mark Pocan (D-Wisc.) said in a post on X. “We all need to be better than this shit. I expect an answer today.”

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) also raised concerns with the GOP member’s comments. “It’s disgusting that Republicans are attempting to raise money by threatening to deport a US citizen just because they disagree with her,” she wrote on X. “Ilhan Omar is a tireless advocate for her district, a fierce protector of our democracy, and I know these fascist threats won’t keep her down.”

But this corruption is not just her as we seen AOC the Village IDIOT in NY might end up in prison for doing webinars on helping illegals avoid ICE, and openly says to not follow the law of the land ON VIDEO. Hence why she really is The Village Idiot. Check out the video below... This is hilarious and scary.
