Trumps sweeping tariffs coming to Canada, Mexico & China!

Well as the month-long pause comes to an end, President Donald Trump said he would impose sweeping tariffs Tuesday on Canada and Mexico, a move that could significantly increase prices on goods from two of America’s most important trading partners some say. Tensions have been mounting between the United States and its two closest neighbors over the past month after Trump agreed to grant the countries a reprieve from the import taxes. In return, Canada and Mexico agreed to try to slow the flow of illicit drugs and migrants into the United States.

While like normal Trump is facing growing opposition to his ambitious and controversial agenda from none other than the liberal media which as normal has nothing useful or helpful to say but to complain, and bitch, with his approval rating in decline, according to a Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll which sure doesn't seem biased at all.

Notice my sarcasam as we know ABC, and Washington Post lie their ass off about anything Trump. Remember they covered up Joe Biden, and his lies and speaking of him he was on the ABC show THE VIEW recently spreading more lies, and looking as old and deranged as always while these women did nothing but treat him like a hero even though he did nothing but damage to our country for four years. As we all know that inside the White House, Trump’s team isn’t dissuaded. He knows like the rest of us that those "polls" from ABC are b/s.

Tariffs and the economy: In April, Trump announced new tariffs of 125 percent on Chinese imports, while more than 75 other countries set to face what the White House calls “reciprocal” tariffs have been negotiating and would immediately see their levies set to 10 percent for 90 days, rather than higher rates announced previously. Here’s an inside look at Trump’s decision and how the trillions of dollars in new tariffs could affect you.

Harvard feud: The Trump administration has asked the Internal Revenue Service’s top attorney to revoke Harvard University’s tax-exempt status amid Trump’s fight with the institution over its handling of antisemitism and diversity practices. Experts say there is no proof that Harvard has violated tax laws that prohibit them from engaging in certain political activity. Here this doesn't affect me at all or anyone other than a university which has for decades been ripping us off.

Federal workers: The Trump administration continues to work to downsize the federal government, eliminating thousands of jobs at agencies, including HHS, USAID, the IRS, the Social Security Administration, the Education Department, the Defense Department, the National Weather Service and the National Park Service. The only people who have lost their jobs are those who have not shown why they even have been paid for their not even showing up to work! The liberals literally were giving them FREE Money! Why because these are DEI federal workers, and not actual boots on the ground workers, and they're making money off Taxpayer funds.

The comments express strong criticism of Trump's proposed tariffs on Mexico, Canada, and China, highlighting concerns about rising prices for everyday products, particularly groceries according to the horrible humans on ABC, and Disney who owns them. Wait that has been happening since Biden who caused the mass inflation! Actually in my area nothing has gone up since Trump got back in but prices on eggs dropped a bit, and so did some of the produce in Walmart. But they're always doing Rollback specials, and stuff at these places but I've seen nothing drastic, and folks if all these countries charges us Tariffs and each other why can't we? How idiotic is this?

ABC Claims that many commentators predict that the tariffs will lead to increased costs for consumers, with some. Like this means anything? They keep making all these anti Trump predictions which always turnout to be 100% wrong. This one will also be wrong like always these polls target mostly Democrats so yeah with them you will never get a legit reading of what the country is actually saying as they're biased, and full of well HORSE SHIT as far as I'm concerned.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Resigns

The alleged son of Fidel Castro Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Resigned from his position Monday, according to Canadian media the news comes as Trudeau's popularity continues to dwindle in Canada, which has a national election planned for Oct. 20 of this year. The country continues to suffer from a housing crisis, a declining per-capita GDP and high inflation, among other issues. According to Canadian pollster Angus Reid, Trudeau has a disapproval rate of around 68% as of Dec. 24, with a meager 28% of Canadians supporting him. The potential resignation would also come after Trudeau, who became prime minister in 2015, braved a difficult few months in politics.

In September, he faced a no confidence vote in parliament that later failed, despite efforts from the Conservative Party to remove him from office. On Dec. 16, Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland announced that she was stepping down from Trudeau's cabinet, dealing a significant blow to the prime minister. In her resignation letter, she claimed that the only "honest and viable path" was to leave the Cabinet. "For the past number of weeks, you and I have found ourselves at odds about the best path forward for Canada," Freeland, who was previously seen as a Trudeau loyalist, wrote.

"Our country is facing a grave challenge," the letter added. "That means keeping our fiscal powder dry today, so we have the reserves we may need for a coming tariff war." Later in December, one of Trudeau's key allies, New Democratic Party leader Jagmeet Singh, said that he planned to present a formal motion of no-confidence on Jan. 27.

"No matter who is leading the Liberal Party, this government's time is up. We will put forward a clear motion of non-confidence in the next sitting of the House of Commons," Singh said. Trudeau's personal choices have also invited backlash from his opponents. At the end of November, Trudeau faced international criticism after he was seen dancing at a Taylor Swift concert in Toronto while a destructive riot took place in his home city of Montreal. Don Stewart, a Member of Parliament (MP) representing part of Toronto, called out the prime minister in a post on X. "Lawless protesters run roughshod over Montreal in violent protest. The Prime Minister dances," the Canadian politician wrote.

"This is the Canada built by the Liberal government." "Bring back law and order, safe streets and communities in the Canada we once knew and loved," Stewart added. Trudeau later denounced the lawlessness, calling the riot "appalling."

Trump to Tariff both Canada & Mexico

This is awesome news as Donald Trump announced Monday that he's Set To Impose 25% Tariff On Canada, Mexico ‘Day One’ and it would be by a signed executive order upon assuming office the tariff will be on all goods imported from Mexico and Canada. He also pledged to implement further tariff increases on China, citing concerns over the influx of illegal immigrants and the trafficking of illicit drugs. He laid this out in his latest Truth Social post, Trump, who takes office on Jan. 20, 2025, noted that thousands of people were “pouring through” Mexico and Canada “at levels never seen before.”

“Right now a Caravan coming from Mexico, composed of thousands of people, seems to be unstoppable in its quest to come through our currently Open Border,” he wrote. “On January 20th, as one of my many first Executive Orders, I will sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25% Tariff on ALL products coming into the United States, and its ridiculous Open Borders.”

“This Tariff will remain in effect until such time as Drugs, in particular Fentanyl, and all Illegal Aliens stop this Invasion of our Country!” he added. And we are very happey to hear about this on this site but he continued to say the following... “Both Mexico and Canada have the absolute right and power to easily solve this long simmering problem.” “And until such time that they do, it is time for them to pay a very big price!” he added. Since his first administration, Trump has consistently urged Mexico to take more active measures to prevent the flow of illegal immigrants and drugs into the United States. In a joint statement, Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister, Chrystia Freeland, and Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc said America’s northern neighbor and the U.S. have “one of the strongest and closest relationships–particularly when it comes to trade and border security.” “Canada places the highest priority on border security and the integrity of our shared border. Our relationship today is balanced and mutually beneficial, particularly for American workers,” they said. “Today, Canada buys more from the United States than China, Japan, France, and the UK combined. Canada is essential to US domestic energy supply, and last year 60 percent of US crude oil imports originated in Canada.”

“Law enforcement agencies from our respective countries the RCMP, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), the US Drug Enforcement Administrations, and US Customs and Border Protection—work together every single day to disrupt the scourge of the fentanyl coming from China and other countries,” they noted further. “In addition, the CBSA is continuously strengthening its ability to detect opioids through enhanced inspections at ports of entry, detector dogs, and emerging technologies, preventing opioids from entering and leaving Canada,” they said. In a later statement, Trump announced he would implement an additional 10% tariff on all Chinese goods imported into the U.S. due to the “massive amounts” of drugs, particularly fentanyl, being smuggled across the border.

Trump stated that he has spoken with Chinese officials regarding the fentanyl entering the U.S. He noted that the communist nation had previously promised to execute drug dealers involved in this illicit trade but ultimately failed to follow through. “Until such time as they stop, we will be charging China an additional 10% Tariff, above any additional Tariffs, on all of their many products coming into the United States of America,” Trump also wrote on Truth.

Fentanyl, a synthetic opioid up to 50 times more potent than heroin, can be deadly even in small amounts. It has contributed to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans and plays a major role in the rise of drug overdoses. Many illegal drugs are laced with fentanyl to increase their potency and reduce costs, often without users’ knowledge, Fox Business reported. U.S. officials often state that illicit fentanyl is produced in Mexico using precursors imported from China and is subsequently smuggled across the border by drug cartels. “Indeed, unknown to most Americans, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is actively funding, supporting, and pushing America’s most deadly drug threat in history,” reads a Heritage Foundation report called “Holding China and Mexico Accountable for America’s Fentanyl Crisis.”

Poilievre Pulverizes Trudeau as he testifies over WE Charity controversy!

‘Nobody believes you’: Baby Fidel Castro Trudeau testifies over WE Charity controversy with Finance Critic Pierre Poilievre. Watch how he grills Justin Trudeau and how this jackass dances all around the question without a single real answer. This guys a real joke also!

I love how he pressed Trudeau over and over for a specific dollar amount for the Trudeau family’s WE Charity expenses, then took charge of the House finance committee meeting when a power outage cut off chairman Wayne Easter.

Western Couple Travel to Middle East to Prove It ‘Gets a Bad Rap’ — End Up in Iranian Prison

Western Couple Travel to Middle East to Prove It ‘Gets a Bad Rap’ — End Up in Iranian Prison in an ironic twist a blogger couple who traveled from Australia to Asia and the Middle East in an attempt to “break the stigma” surrounding developing countries was reportedly arrested.

The duo were identified as Jolie King and Mark Firkin, the BBC reported on Thursday. Although the couple was arrested 10 weeks ago near Tehran, it wasn’t until Wednesday that the news became known. In 2017, they planned to leave Australia and drive from Asia to London. Along the way, the pair shared videos documenting the trip with their thousands of followers on social media.

This is where we should be posting some epic underwater shot of the mantas we went diving with in Komodo. . The SD card had a bit of a melt down though and we lost our footage so here’s a pic of Jolie enjoying the sunshine on the dive boat on the way out instead. . Looks like we’ll just have to go again, damn. . . . . . . . . . . #explore #adventure #travel #overland #camp #vanlife #roadtrip #outdoors #dive #traveldiaries #bikini #vlog #travelvideo #komodo #boat #flores #indonesia #indonesiageographic #PersonaIndonesia #indonesiantraveler #NatGeoIndonesia #freedive #labuanbajo #PersonaIndonesiaOfficial #vlog #wonderfulindonesia #ExploreOurEarth #sony #a7r #welivetoexplore

A post shared by T.W.O – The Way Overland (@thewayoverland) on

That was a post on Instagram which along with the YouTube Channel are full of stunning landscapes, cerulean beaches and lush waterfalls that look ripped out of a luxury travelogue – a far cry from the reality many associate with less developed areas of the world.

“Our biggest motivation… is to hopefully inspire anyone wanting to travel, and also try to break the stigma around travelling to countries which get a bad wrap [sic] in the media,” the pair wrote online.

The journey seemed to be proceeding in perfectly idyllic fashion, as evidenced by the couple’s regular posts to Instagram.

“The warm hospitality we received in Pakistan continued to deliver though. A local Shepard, (who spoke zero English) rode up on his horse, got off, then offered his horse to go for a ride,” they said in one such post. “Jolie went for a spin then with nothing but a smile and a wave he rode off down the valley with two of his mates who had also arrived.”

But the frequent updates King and Firkin shared to the Instagram account, The Way Overland, they’d set up just for the trip abruptly stopped in late June… Australian officials have repeatedly petitioned Tehran for the pair’s release, according to the BBC.

“[We] hope to see Mark and Jolie safely home as soon as possible,” the couple’s families said Thursday in a statement released by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs. According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, King and Firkin were arrested for reportedly flying a drone without a permit. They’ve been imprisoned ever since. A source told the BBC that King was told Iran is holding her as part of a potential prisoner exchange with Australia. Jolie King, Mark Firkin and other citizens of the world King and Firkin aren’t the only couple to have taken turned their idealism into action by traveling to potentially dangerous foreign lands.

In July, a Somalian-born Canadian journalist returned to her homeland to tell “uplifting” stories of how people lived there. However, her homecoming ended in tragedy when she was killed in an attack perpetrated by al-Shabab militants.

Last July, Jay Austin and Lauren Goeghegan were biking in southwest Tajikistan – a region that borders ISIS-territory in northern Afghanistan – when they were murdered by five men who stabbed the couple to death. The attack was led by an Islamic State terrorist.

The two had embarked in 2017 on a bike trip around the world. In an echo of Firkin and King, the couple was motivated by their belief that, “By and large, humans are kind,” as Austin put it in a blog post documenting the journey. “You read the papers and you’re led to believe that the world is a big, scary place,” Austin wrote from Morocco. “I don’t buy it. Evil is a make-believe concept we’ve invented to deal with the complexities of fellow humans holding values and beliefs and perspectives different than our own.”
