Kevin Conroy has passed away.......... RIP

This is news I never wanted to report my friends but one of greatest voice over actors EVER just left us the iconic, Kevin Conroy! Iconic eh hardly a big enough words for how he voiced the role of "Batman." The "Voice Actor," and way to young. He dies at 66 His voice career as the Caped Crusader spanned 30 years, beginning with Batman: The Animated Series

Kevin Conroy, who spent decades working as the voice of Batman in television, films, and video games, has died at the age of 66. Warner Bros. confirms his death this morning. Conroy first lent his voice to Bruce Wayne and Batman in 1992's Batman: The Animated Series. He would go on to voice the brooding Gotham hero in 15 films, 400 episodes of TV, as well as video games.

“Kevin was far more than an actor whom I had the pleasure of casting and directing—he was a dear friend for 30+ years whose kindness and generous spirit knew no boundaries,” casting and dialogue director Andrea Romano tells The Hollywood Reporter. “Kevin’s warm heart, delightfully deep laugh and pure love of life will be with me forever.”

“Kevin was perfection,” says Mark Hamill, who voiced The Joker in the acclaimed animated series, among other projects. “He was one of my favorite people on the planet, and I loved him like a brother. He truly cared for the people around him—his decency shone through everything he did. Every time I saw him or spoke with him, my spirits were elevated.”

Diane Pershing, who voiced Poison Ivy in Batman: The Animated Series, broke the news of Conroy’s death on her Facebook page. “Very sad news: our beloved voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy, died yesterday,” she writes. “He’s been ill for a while but he really put in a lot of time at the cons, to the joy of all of his fans. He will be sorely missed not just by the cast of the series but by his legion of fans all over the world… RIP, friend.”

Born in 1955, Conroy grew up in Westport, Connecticut. He would go on to study acting at Juilliard, bumping elbows with peers such as Christopher Reeves and Robin Williams. His career would take him from the stage to television shows and soap operas before he snagged the life-changing role of Wayne/Batman for Bruce Timm’s animated series.

“I remember Mark and I were at the WB sound studio to do ADR work and we got to watch the opening credits,” Conroy reminisced back in 2017.
“We hear the opening theme with the strings and the lush colors. It was incredibly dramatic. And I looked at Mark and said, ‘Did you have a clue this is what we were doing?’ He said, ‘No, I’m blown away!’ We both felt we were a part of something really special."

The legendary NEAL ADAMS has passed away.......... RIP

The legendary NEAL ADAMS has passed away at the age of 80 and human Words can’t describe the loss here for he has been a apart of comic book fandom for decades. He gave to comic book fans around the world some of the best work in the history of comics, and changed the landscape for many for creators. His work on the Joker made me buy a very expensive glass frame of one of his posters years ago which is still up on my wall today. He became a friend over the years to many on online talk radio as he enjoyed being a guest on podcasts, and being vocal on the state of the industry.

I got to produce a few shows with Dennis & Rick which he was on for our network PSN RADIO over a decade ago and as he was a great guest on Unraveling the Secrets and a real nice guy off air… Neal Adams was a professional graphics artist, illustrator, and cutting edge animator extraordinaire who has and will continue to make graphic novel and comic book history. For this special Unraveling the Secrets, however, Neal describes the “growing earth”. The tectonic plates theory doesn’t add up (literally) and Neal has a working alternative. He’s not the only one to come up with this, either. Australian geologist James Maxlow also found that only an expanding earth could make all the puzzle pieces fit. Neal made some animations to explain the theory and those animations are compelling. For this topic, seeing is believing, so please watch this You Tube:

RIP Mr. Adams

Superman Colorist Quitting Over DC Comics’ Woke Makeover Of Hero

Superman Colorist Quitting Over DC Comics’ Woke Makeover Of Hero: ‘It’s A Bunch Of F***ing Nonsense’ said Superman colorist Gabe Eltaeb as he announced he plans to quit DC Comics after the comic book publisher announced a series of progressive changes to the superhero.

DC Comics announced this past week that it’s two major changes to Superman in its series “Superman: Son of Kat-El.” First, Superman would come out as bi-sexual and start a gay relationship with Jay Nakamura. Second, Superman’s motto, “Truth, Justice, and the American Way,” will be replaced by “Truth, Justice, and a Better Tomorrow.”

Eltaeb railed against the changes to the superhero during an October 13 YouTube livestream hosted by Cyberfrog creator Ethan Van Sciver. Eltaeb said that after the latest change to Superman – DC Comics cutting “the American Way” from the hero’s motto – the colorist decided he would be quitting the comic book publisher at the end of his contract.

“I’m finishing out my contract with DC. I’m tired of this s***, I’m tired of them ruining these characters; they don’t have a right to do this,” Eltaeb said, according to Bounding Into Comics.

“At Comic-Con in 2009, I was pushing Jerry Robinson’s wheelchair around,” Eltaeb said, referring to the prominent Batman illustrator and artists’ rights activist. “That’s the man who invented the Joker. I would work the DC booth back then. I remember bending down to his face and telling him, thank you for creating these characters, so people like me can waltz in and get a job. It’s not about gay or anything else.”

“What really pissed me off was saying truth, justice, and a better world. F*** that it was Truth, Justice, and the American way,” Eltaeb continued.

“My Grandpa almost died in World War II; we don’t have a right to destroy s*** that people died for to give us,” he added. “It’s a bunch of f***ing nonsense.”

Eltaeb then blasted progressives and leftists. “They call us bigots and racist and s***, I would ask them, find me in the f***ing mainstream, not on the fringes, one f***ing book, one f***ing t-shirt, one movie that says that leftism is bad, and conservatism is good, find it for me, they f***ing won’t they’re not letting people have a voice, they’re the f***ing bigots,” he said.

He concluded apologizing for his explosion on the live stream, saying “that’s been bottled up for five years.” Former “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” actor Dean Cain also bashed the changes to the iconic superhero.

“It’s hard for me to keep track of all the different Supermen and the different worlds and adventures that he has in the comics,” Cain said, noting that “Son of Kal-El” is only one series of dozens featuring Superman, his offspring, and his partners. “They said it’s a bold new direction. I say they’re bandwagoning.”

“I don’t think it’s bold or brave or some crazy new direction. If they had done this 20 years ago, perhaps that would be bold or brave. But brave would be having him fight for the rights of gay people in Iran where they’ll throw you off a building for the offense of being gay,” Cain added.

The new Superman, Jon Kent, has had a short run as the Man of Steel so far, but his comics have seen him focused largely on battling a new generation of villains, like “hacktivists” and those who would subvert efforts to combat climate change.

“Why don’t they have him fight the injustices that created the refugees whose deportation he’s protesting? That would be brave, I’d read that. Or fighting for the rights of women to attend school and have the ability to work and live and boys not to be raped by men under the new warm and fuzzy Taliban,” Cain said.

“There’s real evil in this world today, real corruption and government overreach,” he added. “It’d be great to tackle those issues, shine a light on those issues. I’d like to see the character doing that.”

New Superman gets new suit, and fires problematic writer!

So the new Superman and Lois DC Show just recently began filming after a long production delay due to some re-writes, and other issues. However, one the show’s writers this leftist Liberal named Nadria Tucker, has revealed that she has been fired from the series. Comic Book Movie, Tucker threw some explosive allegations on her way to the unemployment office.

This light on IQ Liberal went on one of the worlds two favorite sources of fake news, and agenda politics platforms this one known as Twitter! On her “account”, Tucker posted that she clashed with the writers over racial and gender representation. But here is the deal lady, and follow along folks. This is going to be the replacement of the now canceled “Supergirl” show which will air it’s final season coming out 2021 after Six Seasons. That show was pretty good early on until it became too much about “Gender politics” and “racial agendas” and not enough “Good storytelling.”

The world has had nothing but these agendas pushed in our faces for the last few years now, and it’s become gross to say the least. Every show on the line up on the CW has gender, and other progressive liberal politics attached to them, and this has hurt the shows in the ratings as it did to Supergirl which has had horrible ratings as the storylines became more filled with those idiotic themes. It’s pretty clear, and insulting when even a character like Braniac is turned into some weird Binary Queer robot who dates a transgender male to female actor. I mean this is just something most fans don’t want to see, and so the show lost it’s audiance, and now is being canceled.

At its peak on The CW (where the show moved for Season 2), the show had an average viewership of over three million viewers. By Season 5, however, this had almost halved, with Season 5 episodes getting around 1.6 million viewers on average according to The Hollywood Reporter, who combine broadcast figures with viewers who watched the episode on demand within seven days of broadcast.

The end of Supergirl Season 5 was plagued with particular low ratings per ShowBuzzDaily, under 700,000 people were watching each episode live by the end of the season, down from 1.26 million at the start of the season.

This Superman show is sort of a clean start sort of from Supergirl, and this woman who is all uppity and mad doesn’t understand the fans! The WB/DC/CW also don’t fully understand the fans. This is why they have failed so much over, and over again. IF they keep listening, and hiring idiot writers like Tucker they will continue to fail.

Another sad thing is here that I suspect she’s lying, and she’s pulling out the “Race Card & Gender Card” to smear the WB/DC/CW on something that well has no merit. Like I said they have over done it with these sort of storys which fans don’t like, and perhaps this show they wanted a different course? But maybe not, and she’s just pulling out the “Race/Gender Card” because that’s the new thing the leftists do now. These democRAT woman pick one of those two or both if they can to justify why they lost they job. Maybe your writing just sucked? Ever think of that? I’m sure she didn’t.

Anyway also check out below the new “Superman suit” that the actor Tyler Hoechlin will wear on the show.

🎙INSIDE THA JACKALS HEAD W/ Mark McKenna

Welcoming back the iconic Illustrator of some of my favorite comics which include DOOM PATROL! Which is one of my favorite comic series ever. I read them as a kid, and his run on Flex Mentallo is awesome, and it’s one being used currently on the TV SHOW!

But Mark McKenna has had an amazing run in comics spanning over 3 decades now. In that time he has worked on Batman, Wolverine, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and more recently on Star Wars, counting close to 600 comics or more by now.

Mark’s work can be seen in Legendary Picture Books PACIFIC RIM movie prequel as well as Dark Horse Comic’s Star Wars-The Old Republic: The Lost Suns. In 2012 his work on the online web comic titled “Star Wars: Blood of the Empire” was collected into an 84 page trade paperback and was the lynch pin for the 2012 released Bio-ware online video game, The Old Republic. DC and Marvel have collected Mark’s work in multitudes of titles such as Doom Patrol, Venom, Deadpool Classics and Exiles.

Mark has also created, written, inked and published the Sci Fi/Horror COMBAT JACKS comic book mini series. The COMBAT JACKS Collection which collects the 144 page mini series into a hardcover mini series is NOW available.. under Mark’s Banana Tale Press imprint.

His children’s book series Banana Tail and Friends is a labor of love that he created when his daughter was four and had a newborn son. The BOOnana Tail Halloween Special was released for Halloween 2014 and was treated as an “all ages” comic project that continues to grow with children that had the original storybooks read to them as younger children. The other Banana Tail titles include; Banana Tail’s Tales and Activities, Banana Tail’s Colorful Adventure and the soon-to-be-released Banana Tail and the Checkerboard Jungle. He was so nice to send me his first books of Banana tails years ago, and as an avid collector I can’t thank him enough. Awesome stuff for kids, and hope more of his work is in peoples hands as they tuck their little ones to bed at night.
