Actor Chad McQueen Passes - RIP

The movie The Karate Kid has seen a real resurgence in popularity thanks to the Cobra Kai show but we all loved the original The Karate Kid movie who grew up watching it over, and over, and will no doubt remember the actor Chad McQueen who played on of Johnny Lawrence best friends when he got his big break in 1984 when cast in the hit movie. While in the film “The Karate Kid” playing "Dutch" where not only did he really look the part. But also played him as vicious as there would be in the Cobra Kai crew on that movie.

The hilarious part was in real life he was a very humble and actually nice person and too boot a legacy name actor in that he was the son of screen Hollywood legend Steve McQueen, and now it's saddens me to report that he has died at age 63.

Way too young if you ask me and with deepest condolences I write this because he was set to return in a Cobra Kai episode but didn't end up in it where he was going to reprise his role as "Dutch" ... Remember again in the movie he played one the adversary of Ralph Macchio’s lead character.

McQueen’s attorney, Arthur H. Barens, told The Associated Press that he died on Wednesday. The actor followed in his father’s footsteps, both on screen and on the motor racing circuit. His wife, Jeanie Galbraith, posted a tribute to him on Instagram with their son Chase and daughter Madison. The family announced his death “with a heavy heart,” adding: “His remarkable journey as a loving father to us, along with his unwavering commitment to our mother, truly exemplified a life filled with love and dedication.

His passion for racing not only highlighted his exceptional talent, but also served as a way to honor his father’s legacy, a testament to the values instilled in him. He passed his passion, knowledge and dedication down to us and we will continue not only his legacy but our grandfathers as well.”

McQueen is also survived by his son from a former relationship, Steven R. McQueen an actor who appeared in “The Vampire Diaries.” Chad McQueen reprised his role in “The Karate Kid Part II” sequel in 1986, and appeared in several other films, and also produced two documentaries about his father: “I Am Steve McQueen” in 2014 and “Steve McQueen: The Man & Le Mans” the following year.

“I didn’t find acting fun anymore,” McQueen said in a 2005 interview with AP. “So, I decided to give racing a total commitment.” In a separate Instagram post, McQueen’s son Chase wrote: “Knowing you’re now reunited with the your (sic) Dad and Sister brings me some comfort. Until we ride again I love you.”

Also paying tribute to him online was Jon Hurwitz, one of the creators of “Cobra Kai,” the “Karate Kid” revival that has proven a hit for Netflix. He said he and his colleagues had met with McQueen to discuss a return to the series. Posting on X, Hurwitz described McQueen as a “Karate Kid legend,” adding: “Unfortunately, Chad was unable to join us when it came time to shoot. At the end of the day, it wasn’t meant to be. But Dutch will always be remembered as a badass’ badass in the Miyagiverse. He kicked ass.”

He added: “The fandom mourns a Karate Kid legend today. I’m so grateful I had the honor of spending an afternoon with him. Sending much love and strength to his wonderful family. May Chad rest in peace.”

Dave Chappelle embraces 'being canceled' over 'transphobic' comments in comedy special

Dave Chappelle embraces ‘being canceled’ over ‘transphobic’ comments in comedy special and said the following about it. “If this is what being canceled is like, I love it,” Chappelle said Thursday. “F— Twitter. F— NBC News, ABC News, all these stupid ass networks.” And this is why we all love Dave Chappelle… No matter what side you’re on you know that when you listen to his specials you’re getting the truth how he knows it, and from his real point of view. Agree with him or not he’s never held back, and this is something that must be respected. He’s a brilliant comedian and the one time comedian who joked about how during 911 people were wondering where was Ja Rule in all this, and what his thoughts were. Dave said “Who gives a fuck what Ja rule has to think in a time like this!” Well Dave isn’t Ja Rule, and we all like to hear what Chappelle has to say in times like these. Agree or not you know you’re at least hearing his real life point of view, and not some cookie cutter CNN or BIG TECH prep speech.

Dave’s critics accused him of “ridiculing trans people” in his Netflix special “The Closer,” which debuted earlier this week. “Gender is a fact,” he said during the program while defending author J.K. Rowling against critics who openly called her transphobic.

“Every human being in this room, every human being on Earth, had to pass through the legs of a woman to be on Earth. That is a fact,” said Chappelle.

His comments earned him considerable push back from The National Black Justice Coalition, an LGBTQ advocacy organization, who urged Netflix to remove “The Closer” from its platform. They said the media giant “should know better.”

Dear White People showrunner Jaclyn P Moore, who is transgender, announced a boycott of Netflix over the “transphobic” special, claiming that the comedian’s jokes were “dangerous.”

“The fact is that’s the exact rhetoric and language that is used against us,” Moore said in an interview with Variety. “He talks about our feelings being hurt. My feelings are fine, but being thrown against a wall hurts or worrying at night if I can get home safe.” “I’m really tired of my existence being a matter of debate, that this is something that we all just get to have an opinion about. We all get to have an opinion whether or not I am what I say I am,” Moore continued. “Look, I have no desire to cancel Dave Chappelle. He should make whatever he wants to make.”

But Moore said to Netflix “it’s not like this was a live special.” He claimed they saw this and were like, ‘Yeah this seems okay to put out there.’ “The truth is it’s not. It’s dangerous and it has real world physical violence repercussions.”

“People like to say, “Oh, it’s just a joke.” I get the joke,” Moore added. “By the way there’s a lot that’s funny about being trans, but the idea that it’s funny that we call ourselves women, which was the subtext of a lot of those jokes, is not one of them. It’s actually the same language used by people who seek to hurt us.” GLAAD also slammed Chappelle, adding the comedian’s brand “has become synonymous with ridiculing trans people and other marginalized communities.”

A Netflix spokesperson denied a request for comment at the time of writing.

Robert Englund Joins “Stranger Things 4”

Welcome to PRIME TIME Robert! Sorry I couldn’t help it! But I am just over joyed with this news report from “bloody-disgusting” that horror legend Robert Englund (aka Freddy Krueger) has signed on to Co-Star in the upcoming fourth season of “Stranger Things,” playing what sounds like a very interesting character that sounds like a nod or tribute to his most iconic role.

Englund will play the role of Victor Creel, a disturbed and intimidating man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950’s. This sounds like a character that Englund could really knock out of the park! To see him be able to come out on this show is perfect since he became best known in the 80’s for playing Freddy, and this show is set in the 80’s let’s not forget this is a series that has often paid tribute to A Nightmare on Elm Street, it seems only right that Englund is now making his way into Hawkins.

What is known of Season 4 thus far is that Hopper is still alive, “imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other.” “Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything….”

“Season 4 is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet, and we cannot wait for everyone to see more,” the Duffer Brothers had said back in February of this year. Personally I cannot wait to see this. Now with this, and True Terror With Robert Englund on tv it’s awesome to see the man still working at this stage and age of his life, and getting juicy roles which he should have been getting for decades. He’s one hell of underrated actor in my opinion. Also let’s member if it wasn’t for Robert himself we would have not ever seen Mark Hamill playing Luke in 77… So this man helped pay the way for most of our childhood! Star Wars, and Horror movie fans owe him a lot of love, and this is why I’m over joyed to see him welcomed on to one of the biggest shows on tv/streaming.

Jerry Harris, Star Of Netflix Series πŸΏπŸƒπŸŽ₯‘Cheer,’ Charged With Child Porn!

A so called star of the Netflix series “Cheer,” named “Jerry Harris” was charged in federal court here with producing child pornography, CBS 2 has confirmed. I don’t got NetFlix, and don’t know this show. But this Harris guy who’s 21, was arrested on Thursday and made an initial court appearance this afternoon before a federal magistrate.

The show “Cheer” is a docuseries that details competitive cheerleading, and it is in that atmosphere that Harris is accused of forming these relationships with younger male cheerleaders and then exploiting them for child porn pictures and videos and in some cases, sex.

“The Naperville” resident Jeremiah Harris is accused specifically of luring two boys to send him sexual pictures. But late Thursday afternoon, it was learned he admitted to doing the same thing to as many as 15 other children and the allegations don’t end there.

Prosecutors in U.S. District Court unraveled a disturbing pattern that went on for over a year according to federal prosecutors, Harris contacted twin underage boys on social media apps, and repeatedly enticed them to produce sexually explicit videos and photographs of themselves and send them to Harris. One of the boys agreed to send Harris naked pictures and videos of himself, but the other declined.

The boy who did send the images informed Harris during their initial online encounter that he was 13 years old, the federal complaint states. The complaint charges Harris with one count of producing child pornography. Federal agents were tipped off by the mother of the victims, who found pornographic images and text messages with Harris on one of their phones. The boy told the mom, identified in the complaint as Individual A, that Harris had asked for the photos. The boy said he had sent more than a dozen photos of his genitals to Harris, and Harris had sent similar images of himself to the boy, the complaint alleges.

Court documents showed a text exchange where prosecutors said Harris messaged the boy and asked for photos, including “booty” pics. Prosecutors also showed a young boy doing a cheerleading position know as “the needle.” They said a Snapchat account using Harris’ name asked the child to do it naked and take a video to show him.

Harris admitted to investigators that he was asking for the photos via Snapchat between December 2018 and March 2020, the complaint states. The minor is a competitive cheerleader who also met Harris at a cheer event, where Harris asked for oral sex, according the the complaint. The boy refused.

The charges also accuse Harris of sending text messages to both boys, soliciting them for sex, but the boys declined. Harris also admitted to soliciting and receiving child pornography on Snapchat from at least between 10 to 15 other individuals he knew were minors. Investigators said in some cases, Harris paid his victims – up to $3,000 in one case. The complaint cites other incidents earlier this year in which Harris repeatedly asked for, and obtained, videos and images from a 17-year-old boy in exchange for money.

Harris is considered a breakout star a fan favorite on the Netflix show “Cheer.” He has more than 1 million Instagram followers. But the FBI confirmed to CBS 2 it conducted a court-authorized law enforcement action at the house in Naperville where neighbors said Harris now lives. No one answered the door at the house, but neighbors said they noticed more than six vehicles where Harris’ red Jeep sat parked. USAToday reported earlier this week that the 21-year-old was being investigated for allegedly soliciting sex and explicit videos from minors.

Harris’ attorney did not stop to talk to the news media in court Thursday. Attorneys representing the twin boys said a parent had the courage to report Harris’ alleged conduct, and urged investigators to look into whether people overseeing cheer camps or other events could have stopped this and perhaps failed to do so. When asked about Harris, a representative of Varsity Sports, one of Harris’ former employers, said they “continue to cooperate with authorities in their inquiries on this matter,” but could not comment further.

Netflix released a statement reading: “Like everyone we are shocked by this news. Any abuse of minors is a terrible crime and we respect the legal process.” Harris is a Bolingbrook native who attended Waubonsie Valley High School. Production of child pornography is punishable by a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 30 years. This isn’t the first time Netflix has had issues with them having something to do with Child Porn. Cuties is still a hot topic people are mad over, and Netflix also paid Millions to the Obamas for nothing but to endorse them and make them richer but Obama has been now also tied to Jefferey Epstein’s Island, and Plane… Also all his other crooked activity. Netflix really needs to screen their hiring process better.
