Robert Englund Joins “Stranger Things 4”

Welcome to PRIME TIME Robert! Sorry I couldn’t help it! But I am just over joyed with this news report from “bloody-disgusting” that horror legend Robert Englund (aka Freddy Krueger) has signed on to Co-Star in the upcoming fourth season of “Stranger Things,” playing what sounds like a very interesting character that sounds like a nod or tribute to his most iconic role.

Englund will play the role of Victor Creel, a disturbed and intimidating man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950’s. This sounds like a character that Englund could really knock out of the park! To see him be able to come out on this show is perfect since he became best known in the 80’s for playing Freddy, and this show is set in the 80’s let’s not forget this is a series that has often paid tribute to A Nightmare on Elm Street, it seems only right that Englund is now making his way into Hawkins.

What is known of Season 4 thus far is that Hopper is still alive, “imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human…and other.” “Meanwhile, back in the states, a new horror is beginning to surface, something long buried, something that connects everything….”

“Season 4 is shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet, and we cannot wait for everyone to see more,” the Duffer Brothers had said back in February of this year. Personally I cannot wait to see this. Now with this, and True Terror With Robert Englund on tv it’s awesome to see the man still working at this stage and age of his life, and getting juicy roles which he should have been getting for decades. He’s one hell of underrated actor in my opinion. Also let’s member if it wasn’t for Robert himself we would have not ever seen Mark Hamill playing Luke in 77… So this man helped pay the way for most of our childhood! Star Wars, and Horror movie fans owe him a lot of love, and this is why I’m over joyed to see him welcomed on to one of the biggest shows on tv/streaming.
