DHS says 2 have been detained in NYC shooting of off-duty border patrol agent

They should send him and those who we have to send to prison for these crimes to Alligator Alcatraz and let them remain there the rest of their lives... Also pray for a good storm and so after it settles we have some real "found footage" shown from CCTV of how they got unalived by GATORS. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Monday that the perpetrators involved in the shooting were two unauthorized immigrants who had been arrested multiple times.

An off-duty Customs and Border Patrol agent was shot in New York City's Riverside Park late Saturday in an alleged robbery that did not appear to target him because of his job, police said. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Monday that the perpetrators involved in the shooting were two unauthorized immigrants who had been arrested multiple times.

Both suspects have been detained, Noem said. Noem said the first suspect is a Dominican national named Miguel Francisco Mora Nunez, who had allegedly been arrested four different times in New York City. New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said at a news conference Sunday that the 21-year-old was hospitalized with gunshot wounds that investigators believe he sustained during the incident.

Shortly after the presser, Noem posted on X that the second suspect involved in the shooting was Christian Aybar-Berro, who is also from the Dominican Republic. In a post on X, Noem stated that Aybar-Berroa entered the country in 2022 and was ordered to leave a year later by an immigration judge. Two law enforcement sources told NBC News that the encounter appeared to be random and that it was an attempted robbery. Tisch said the CBP agent was sitting on the rocks along the water in the Manhattan park when two men rode up to him on a scooter, and one of them got off, approaching him from behind. One of the men took out a gun, at which point the agent realized he was being robbed and took out his firearm in defense, Tisch said. The gunman fired at the agent, who returned fire, she said.

The CBP agent was hit in the face and on the forearm, Tisch said. Mayor Eric Adams said he had visited the agent in the hospital as they recovered with their family. His condition was unknown. The incident was caught on CCTV, allowing detectives to match Mora with the person shown firing at the CBP agent, Tisch said. Mora went to Bronx Care Hospital after midnight with gunshot wounds to the groin and a leg consistent with those sustained by the person who shot the agent, Tisch said, citing the security video. Adams said Mora is known by law enforcement and has had repeated and violent past encounters with officials.

Tisch said Mora is also in the United States illegally, having entered through Arizona in 2023. He has two previous arrests for domestic violence in New York and an active warrant after he did not show up in court in one of those cases, Tisch said. Mora was also wanted by New York police in connection with an alleged robbery in December and an alleged stabbing in January, she said. Mora was in police custody at Lincoln Hospital, where he had surgery, Tisch said. Adams said of Mora at the news conference Sunday: "In less than one year, he has inflicted violence in our city. And once he is charged for last night's crimes, we will be able to add attempted murder to his rap sheet."

President Donald Trump called the person of interest an "Illegal Alien Monster" on Truth Social on Sunday and said Democrats "have flooded our Nation with Criminal Invaders." Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said on X that Mora is from the Dominican Republic. Trump has long highlighted crimes committed by undocumented migrants as reasons for harsh immigration crackdowns, despite evidence showing that the undocumented population commits fewer crimes than natural-born U.S. citizens.

Expert analysis and available data from major-city police departments reviewed by NBC News last year showed that despite some high-profile incidents, there was no evidence of a migrant-driven crime wave in the United States.

In December 2020, researchers studying Texas crime statistics found that “contrary to public perception, we observe considerably lower felony arrest rates among undocumented immigrants compared to legal immigrants and native-born U.S. citizens and find no evidence that undocumented criminality has increased in recent years.” In the first months of his second term, Trump and his administration have been cracking down on arrests of undocumented immigrants, with promises to deport violent criminals.

Most of those in immigration custody, however, do not have criminal records, according to data. As of June, after six months of aggressive immigration enforcement, only a small fraction of undocumented immigrants known by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers as having been convicted of sexual assault and homicide had been arrested, internal ICE data obtained by NBC News showed.

From Oct. 1 through May 31, 185,042 people were arrested and booked into ICE facilities. Of that group, 65,041 had been convicted of crimes, the data showed. Other ICE data showed that nearly half of those in ICE custody had neither been convicted of nor been charged with any crime. In a Monday statement, acting ICE Director Todd M. Lyons said that "sanctuary city policies and the Biden administration’s open border policies allowed two criminal illegal aliens to enter this country, roam free and commit multiple crimes with no repercussions."

"Habitual criminals who weren’t even supposed to be in the United States shot an off-duty federal officer in one perpetrator’s second armed robbery this year," Lyons said. "I’m tremendously relieved that this CBP officer will recover, but the bottom line is that this shouldn’t have happened."

College students, agitators among 86 arrested at rowdy NYC anti-ICE protest!

So as the cops cuffed 86 demonstrators at a rowdy anti-ICE rally in Lower Manhattan Tuesday, among the morons was the daughter of a Moroccan actor, a self-proclaimed poet from an upscale college and a coed whose family owns a posh home in the Hampton's. “My sense is, the vast majority of the 2,500 people that were there, were there to protest peacefully,” NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said on Fox 5 News. “There was a smaller group of a few hundred where we did have to make arrests. Some of them were looking for trouble.” The protest in Foley Square against deportation arrests by federal immigration agents began peacefully but grew increasingly violent shortly after 5 p.m., with the mob hurling bottles at cops and throwing traffic cones into traffic, an NYPD spokesperson said.

Of the 86 who were charged, 52 were issued summonses for disorderly conduct and other minor charges, while 34 were arrested and charged with more serious crimes, including felony assault. Among those busted was Vega Gullette, a 19-year-old student at Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers who describes herself as “a Moroccan-American writer, artist, and lover of junk.” The teen, who was charged with attempted assault in the second-degree and obstructing government administration, is the daughter of Sean Gullette, an actor, screenwriter and director whose credits include the Darren Aronofsky films “Requiem for a Dream” and “Pi.”

We also know that
Sean Gullette had a group of friends show up to her court hearing Wednesday in a show of support, some of whom draped themselves in keffiyehs, which are associated with pro-Palestine political movements. Also among those charged was Rachel Schreiber, 22, of Brooklyn, who is facing resisting arrest, reckless endangerment and attempted assault charges in the melee. She smiled when she saw the large group of friends, some of whom wore masks, who showed up for her hearing in Manhattan criminal court. “So many,” she said to herself while she walked out of the courtroom. Records show her parents own a $3 million home in West Hampton Beach.

“I’m not giving any reaction,” her mother told The Post Wednesday. “I’m not ready to talk about this with the press.” Some of the pinched protesters are no strangers to Big Apple demonstrations. Robert Mills, 40, who was charged with reckless endangerment and issued a disorderly conduct citation in Tuesday’s scuffle, was charged with obstructing governmental administration in April during an anti-Israeli protest in Brooklyn, the Jewish News Syndicate reported. Tabitha Howell, 40 who was cited for disorderly conduct was among those injured when a crazed Queens woman drove into a Manhattan Black Lives matter protest in 2020.

“It’s one thing to face physical recovery,” Howell, who said she suffered five bulging discs in her back and a traumatic brain injury in the incident, told The Post at the time. “It’s another to try to process what happened mentally and emotionally.” Meanwhile, Tisch and Mayor Eric Adams gave assurances this week that the city will not devolve in to chaos like Los Angeles, where ICE agents sparked outbreaks of violence that required the National Guard to step in to try to restore peace.

“Watching what was going on in California, I spent the weekend on the phone with our federal partners in New York City the head of the FBI in New York, federal protective services, homeland security investigations,” Tisch told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.

They shouldn’t have trouble making bail... Of course not since this is all being paid for by people in the shadows who like always pay for the deeds of the evil they want to do. This is planned and NOT organic.

Gov. Hochul needs to resign!

Gov. Kathy Hochul ripped for ‘tone-deaf’ tweet about improved subway safety after sleeping straphanger (A straphanger is a passenger who stands in a crowded bus, subway, streetcar, or train and holds onto a strap or other support for balance. The term can also refer to a commuter who uses public transportation.) fatally lit on fire and her post bragging about her subway safety improvements mere hours after a sleeping lady was killed when she was set on fire aboard a Brooklyn train Sunday.

By an illegal SHE Kathy wanted to have stay in NY. The Democratic leader was blasted from both sides of the aisle after her office put out a social media post celebrating a decrease in subway crime even in the wake of the horrific immolation and a double-stabbing on 7 train in Queens that left one rider dead.

“In March, I took action to make our subways safer for the millions of people who take the trains each day,” Hochul wrote on X Sunday afternoon alongside photos of her in the transit system with law enforcement and riders. This woman is a radical lunatic and this now is too far. She needs to resign or face charges herself for how badly she's allowed the state to get. She is an utter disgrace to the JOB, and shows it in every press, video, and speech where she lies constantly for the liberal morons who belive this crap.

“Since deploying the @NationalGuardNY to support @NYPDnews and @MTA safety efforts and adding cameras to all subway cars, crime is going down, and ridership is going up.”

The tweet was quickly blasted, including by Rep. Ritchie Torres, who has been critical of his fellow Democrat in recent weeks and is eyeing a possible run for governor in 2026.

“Two hours ago, Kathy Hochul took a victory lap for making subways ‘safer.’ She congratulates herself on the same day two subway riders were stabbed in Queens (one in the face and one in the chest) and another was barbarically burned alive,” he wrote on X. “Has there ever been a more tone-deaf Governor in the history of New York?”

Another Democrat, Councilman Robert Holden, chided Hochul’s tweet as “incredible timing.” “Kathy Hochul’s incompetence is costing lives she needs to leave public office immediately before more New Yorkers suffer,” he wrote on X.

Republicans also expressed outrage over the shocking social media snafu. “Are you kidding me??? You are really posting this after a woman was set on fire & died on a Brooklyn train this morning and two people were stabbed (one killed) on a Queens train yesterday,” Rep. Nicole Malliotakis posted online. The two fatal incidents on the transit system happened just hours apart Sunday morning.

In the first, a 37-year-old man was killed and a 26-year-old man was injured during a stabbing on a southbound 7 train at the 61 Street-Woodside station around 12:30 a.m. after getting into a dispute with another rider, according to cops. A person of interest, who also suffered slash wounds, was taken into custody, police said. No charges have been filed so far.

Then around 7:30 a.m., a Guatemalan migrant allegedly lit a sleeping subway rider on fire on an idling F train at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station, according to police.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and a suspect was arrested hours later. The governor’s office did not immediately reply to an email Sunday night seeking comment about the criticized tweet.

But she appeared to address the outrage in a pair of posts Sunday evening, insisting any transit crime is “one too many.” “A suspect is now in custody for the horrific incident on the F train.

Our brand-new security cameras helped law enforcement find the suspect and arrest him. Grateful to @NYPDnews and @mtapd for their aggressive response,” she wrote. “Make no mistake: any crime is one too many, even with subway crime going down. We are continuing to surge personnel and resources to make our subways safer.”

Woman set on fire in NY Subway

Man faces murder charges after woman fatally set on fire on New York subway reports are that the man responsible is now in custody but how did this even happen? Well here is what I know so far. The attack took place on the F train at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue subway station in Brooklyn. A suspect is facing charges of murder after a woman who appeared to be asleep was fatally set on fire on a subway train in New York City.

The woman, who has not been identified, sat motionlessly on board a stationary F train at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue subway station in Brooklyn at about 7:30 am (12:30 GMT) on Sunday when a man calmly approached her and used a lighter to set her clothes on fire, the New York Police Department said. A suspect identified by police as Sebastian Zapeta was taken into custody hours after the woman died on Sunday morning.

Transit police apprehended the suspect after receiving a report from three high school students who had recognized the man. They had seen images of the suspect taken from surveillance and police body cam video and widely distributed by police. The man got off the car as police officers on patrol in the station rushed to the blaze.

New Yorkers came through again,” said New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch, who described the case as “one of the most depraved crimes one person could possibly commit against another human being”. The officers used fire extinguishers to put out the fire and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders, police said.

They added there was no interaction before the attack and they did not believe the two people knew each other.

Footage has emerged showing a horrifying incident in a New York subway train where the woman was burned to death. What’s even more shocking is that bystanders just stood there instead of jumping in to help, people pull out their phones.

Even a cop was there and did nothing Watch the cop just walking back and forth. Watch at your own discretion as it's not easy to watch but this is PURE SOLID NEWS.

Jeff Carter, a spokesman for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said that Zapeta is a 33-year-old Guatemalan citizen who entered the US illegally after being previously removed in 2018. While immigrants commit violent crimes at a lower rate than people born in the US, right-wing politicians have seized on incidents of violent crime by undocumented immigrants to push for mass deportations and more restrictive immigration policies.

Cellphone video published on social media by a horrified onlooker also showed a man sitting on a bench on the platform a few steps away from the burning woman, dressed in a grey hoodie that resembles that worn by the suspect arrested later on Sunday.

Asked whether the man watching from the bench was the attacker, police said that responding officers had no reason to think he was a suspect when they rushed to the woman’s aid. About four million trips are taken each weekday on the city’s subway, where violent crime is relatively rare. As of November, there had been nine homicides reported on the subway in 2024, compared to five in the same period in 2023, according to police data.

Earlier this month, a jury acquitted Daniel Penny of criminally negligent homicide in the death of Jordan Neely, a homeless former Michael Jackson impersonator, on the city’s subway. To me folks and I've thought about this for a long time especially post election. A LOT of these people let in during the Biden time in office we're being allowed in to commit crimes like this.

This is all done thanks to Biden who had these criminals come in and a lot of them were told if they shall lose the election to commit these grusome acts post election to shame the new Trump white house while they try and deport illegals. To me this is all part of the liberals vision to "Build, Back, Worse!"
