DMX Dies At Age 50 After Days On Life Support At White Plains Hospital

I just spoke about this on my show Sunday about praying for him to recover but it seems that our prayers aren’t enough as it’s now clear that DMX has been lost to drugs, and he won’t recover. He’s now gone from this earth. This is the result of a life full of hard drugs, and abuse to himself.

There is nobody to blame but himself, and it’s a real shame as he was one heck of a talent, and his music is classic, and still music that is banging 20 years later. He shouldn’t be dead right now but the drugs he took over the years resulting in wreaking havoc his health and eventually his mind, and heart.

DMX died being on life support at White Plains Hospital for the last week, his family said this morning (04/09/2021) in a statement. The family said DMX, whose birth name is Earl Simmons, died at the hospital “with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days.”

“Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end. He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him,” the statement continued. “Earl’s music inspired countless fans across the world and his iconic legacy will live on forever. We appreciate all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time.” The 50-year-old from Yonkers was hospitalized a week ago after suffering a heart attack. A large crowd of family, friends and fans gathered outside the hospital earlier this week for a prayer vigil.

“This is a legendary figure within our culture. One of the greatest artists in terms of showmanship,” one person told CBS2’s Ali Bauman. DMX released the first of his seven albums in 1998. He’s a three-time Grammy nominee and a two-time American Music Award-winner. His record label, Def Jam Recordings, called him “a brilliant artist and an inspiration to millions around the world.

“His message of triumph over struggle, his search for the light out of darkness, his pursuit of truth and grace brought us closer to our own humanity,” the label said in a statement describing him as “nothing less than a giant.”

New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins also reacted to his death on Twitter, saying DMX was “someone who overcame great obstacles and never forgot where he came from.” Sadly he came from the hood, and from selling, and abusing drugs, and he never overcame his main demon in life, and or obstacle. But of course these moronic leftists Democratic glorify people who are drug addicts, and so her words of ignorance don’t shock me. Again I’m a fan of DMX and he made banging music but this death is all his doing, and he lived how he died. 1000 miles an hour living the life of a rock star.

“Growing up in the School Street housing project and sharing his painful childhood through his music has always kept him connected to… Yonkers, along with his visits to the Nepperhan Community Center to give back to needy families,” she tweeted. “Sending my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time.”

This is really dope here it’s a music video that’s like an old school Michael Jackson video where it’s a mini movie with the music in it. Good concept, and I could see his life one day becoming a movie. DMX lived a very fast life, and this mini movie should shed some light into what drove him to where he ended up.

As of now DMX lawyer said he could not confirm reports the heart attack was caused by an overdose… But that’s the word from those who know him, and regardless if you watch him speak in the past over the last 15-20 years his mind was slipping for years. But he was a human being, and his troubles were one shared by a lot of Americans, and people world wide, and our heart goes out to him, and his family, and loved ones, and hope his life does lead to one major good thing. That his fans say no to hard drugs, and learn from losing one of hip hop’s all time best rappers. Rest in Peace DMX.
