Dr. Michael S. Heiser Rest in Peace... [02/14/1963 - 02/20/2023]

Just found the sad news on the passing of a good friend, and someone who was a hero of mines as he confronted and took on the all mighty Sitchen and really proved how he was lying or just wrong on his books about the Annunaki. I was so lucky to have had him do an interview on my podcast and we became good friends offline over the years. He was a real great guy and someone who was as honest, and real as we have had. Loved his work, and again I'm so sadden to know he's now gone and his work left for us to go over will I'm sure help engage many of the future generations on the history of Hebrew, Christian, and Sumerian history and languages. When I had him on it was clear he was a much smarter man than I was and I was just only able to keep up believe me this man was a brain.

Dr. Heiser bio reads as such... It says he was an American Old Testament scholar and Christian author with training in ancient history, Semitic languages, and the Hebrew Bible from the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned an M.A. (1998) and Ph.D. (2004) in Hebrew Bible and Ancient Semitic Languages from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His dissertation was entitled, "The Divine Council in Late Canonical and Non-Canonical Second Temple Jewish Literature" (English translation: the dissertation dealt with the presence of a pantheon in the Hebrew Bible and the binitarian nature of ancient Israelite religion and Judaism, a backdrop for the the belief in the deity of Christ in the New Testament). Before going to the UW-Madison, Mike also earned an M.A. in Ancient History from the University of Pennsylvania (1992; major fields, Ancient Syria-Palestine and Egyptology). Mike can do translation work in roughly a dozen ancient languages, among them Biblical Hebrew, Biblical Greek, Aramaic, Syriac, Egyptian hieroglyphs, Phoenician, Moabite, and Ugaritic cuneiform. He has also studied Akkadian and Sumerian independently.

Mike taught over two dozen courses over the span of 15 years of undergraduate teaching. He was an Academic Editor at Logos Bible Software in Bellingham, WA. In 2007 the Pacific Northwest region of the Society of Biblical Literature awarded Mike its Regional Scholar award. You can learn more about Dr. Heiser by visiting his homepage or viewing his resume/CV. Mike was probably best known to those interested in the ancient astronaut subject through his many appearances on Coast to Coast AM. He has also spoken a several conferences. Some of his presentations are available on DVD as well as on YouTube, and other streaming online.

Here is a show I did in 2014 on Skywatchers Radio which aired on Art Bells "Dark Matter Digital Network", Jorge Rodriguez owned "SoFloRadio" and my own "PSN RADIO" and the YouTube video can be watched below.
