Sheriff slams law enforcement agencies for releasing illegal immigrant who allegedly hit Ohio nurse

This friends is one sad story but one we have had many times now as these leftist Judges keep releasing these illegal invaders to our country and who have been given special treatment while our actual Citizens suffer. This is the latest in some sort of accident involving an actual "Illegal" person in this country, and this man has not been deported. Why? How did the system fail us like this which would allow this sort of filth to remain in this country?

Johen Perez-Ventura had 4 prior DUIs, among other arrests and was previously deported before crash that injured Courtney Steinmetz An Ohio sheriff slammed fellow law enforcement agencies for previously releasing an illegal immigrant with an extensive criminal history, after he allegedly crashed into an Ohio nurse while driving drunk, leaving her seriously injured. 

As someone who has a spine injury myself and can't afford the surgery I know the pain involved with living with it, and this poor girl might be on a long road to recovery but this sort of injury after surgery has many complications also. This is such a shame when all they needed to do is deport this guy again, and yes he got back in during the Biden years. So yes he's without a doubt an illegal immigrant from Guatemala.

He has now been charged with aggravated vehicular assault, driving without a license and obstruction of justice, according to Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones. Courtney Steinmetz, a nurse and volunteer cheerleading coach, was driving along Route 747 on Nov. 20, when she was allegedly hit head-on by Perez-Ventura in Liberty Township, Ohio.

Perez-Ventura was first captured crossing the Texas border in 2019, and deported back to Guatemala, according to Jones. And he returned to the U.S. at some point, and in 2023, was charged with assault in Cincinnati. That same year, he was arrested and charged with drunk driving in Westchester, Jones said. Perez-Ventura was released after both arrests. However, Perez-Ventura's criminal history didn't end there. In 2024, he was arrested twice for drunk driving, and released again.

"This low-life piece of s--- named Johen, who has been arrested [four times] for DUIs … he had alcohol in the car, had to be cut out of the car, [went] to the hospital," Jones said in a video post to the Butler County Sheriff's Office Facebook page. "You know who pays for that. We do. … It's not his first time. … He's used to this. He was just going to be in the wind. … Not this time. We waited and then [Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)] made the apprehension." Jones said Perez-Ventura did not have a driver's license, speculating he may have shown fake IDs to officers at other agencies, and they let him go anyway.

"That's appalling in itself," the sheriff said. "They probably didn't want to send him to my jail because he would be deported. He [had] already been incarcerated at that point for DUI, assault, and he'd come across the border twice." Perez-Ventura, using an interpreter, claimed he was not the driver because he was on probation for one of his prior offenses. After the crash, Jones visited Steinmetz in the hospital and said he could tell she was in "serious pain," having suffered a spine injury, broken wrist and broken ankle.

"She's 27, living her dream, working at the hospital as an RN, saving people's lives. Now today, she's lying in the hospital," he said. "She's not even out of the bed yet. She's going to be out of work for quite some time. She'll probably have issues the rest of her life with her spine." A GoFundMe was set up for Steinmetz, to help with medical bills, lost wages and her insurance deductible — since Perez-Ventura did not have insurance. A family member wrote on the crowdfunding site that despite her injuries, Steinmetz still "hopes the opposing driver is doing OK despite the pain this has caused."

"He doesn't care. You look at his mug shot, he has a smirk on his face," Jones said. "I promise you, he won't be deported again … He's going to get a little taste of American prison. He'll get a cell until he goes to prison, then he can get deported when he's a lot older. This low-life is lying in my jail, getting three meals a day, whining and crying. [He] probably doesn't like the conditions, which they're a whole lot better than he deserves." 

Jones added he will pursue additional charges against Perez-Ventura related to the crash, and investigate the businesses who allegedly sold him the alcohol, people he was drinking with, and people who sold or loaned him cars. "I have no sympathy," Jones said. "If he had been deported and stayed deported the first time, we wouldn't be going through this." Nearly half a dozen illegal immigrants, with charges ranging from sex crimes and assault to DUI and drugs offenses, have recently been arrested in Butler County, according to the sheriff.

The teens who killed a white kid during a fight outside LeBron James’ @kingjames I Promise school @ipromiseschool in Akron, Ohio, ended up being acquitted of involuntary manslaughter and instead were convicted of felony and misdemeanor assault on Monday.

Two men involved in the death of 17-year-old Ethan Liming last summer at LeBron James’ “I Promise” school in Akron were found ‘not guilty’ of involuntary manslaughter, according to a Summit County jury. As relayed by cleveland.com, Deshawn Stafford Jr., 20, and Tyler Stafford, 19, were at the scene of the crime when Liming suffered a fatal hit to the head on June 2, 2022.

The Summit County jury reached the decision on Monday. Deshawn and Tyler Stafford faced two counts of involuntary manslaughter. A verdict was not reached for the first count and the jury determined that the Stafford brothers were not guilty concerning the second count. Deshawn and Tyler were also charged with aggravated assault and assault.

The public elementary school in Akron, Ohio, was launched by LeBron as a resource for at-risk children and families. In 2022, Liming was caught up in the spat with Deshawn, Tyler and Donovon Jones after driving by LeBron’s school and shooting at the three males with a pellet gun. 

The three men confronted Liming after shooting at them with the water bead pellets. Police testimonies shared in the case stated that Liming, accompanied by several friends, was high on weed and ‘pranking’ bystanders with his pellet gun. Deshawn Stafford was the first of the three suspected men to engage with Liming, until his brother, Tyler, and cousin, Donovon Jones, joined in.

Details on Liming’s fatal injuries revealed blunt trauma to the head, believed to have been suffered after Deshawn punched Liming, causing the teen to fatally hit his head on the ground. Liming’s vehicle was reportedly removed from the scene by Deshawn, Tyler and Donovon; however, the boys claimed that they acted in self-defense after Liming and his friends shot at them with his pellet gun.

Additionally, Deshawn Stafford admitted that he moved the vehicle to keep Liming’s friends from fleeing the site as police arrived.

Stafford, his brother and his cousin ultimately fled the scene. “Under Ohio law, a person is allowed to use force in self-defense or in defense of another. You’re allowed to do that,” defense attorney, Jon Sinn, shared. “You don’t have to back up from a fight. … He met a punch with a punch. These boys were not looking for trouble. Trouble came looking for them.”

All I’ve heard is how TRUMP is the sole purpose off all these mass shootings, and I ask myself how delusional are these people!? Did Columbine or Sandy Hook happen under Trump’s watch? That was while Obama was in office, and I don’t remember him getting blamed for it. They said it was the guns, and now it’s all Trump. These morons like Corkey Booger as I call him (Use your imagination on who I mean by that name!) have come out blaming TRUMP!

I Wonder if Trump takes a poop, and it comes out black would they call it a racist turd? Or say he’s racist for taking a black poo? I mean everything is racist Trump this, and racist Trump that! Twitter has now suspended the Twitter page, removing it. It was up for several hours after the mass shooting.

On Nov. 2, 2018, he wrote: “Vote blue for gods sake.”

“This is America: Guns on every corner, guns in every house, no freedom but that to kill,” he wrote in December 2018. And, “’Tis! The pistol is a Beretta 93R, called the REK7 in BO4. Do love me some guns!” He also wrote, “Hammer, brick, gun.” On Feb. 14, 2018, he tweeted this at Sen. Rob Portman: “@robportman hey rob. How much did they pay you to look the other way? 17 kids are dead. If not now, when?” That was the date of the mass shooting at a school in Parkland, Florida.

That’s all according to his Twitter page, which was reviewed by Heavy. The Twitter page gives the first public glimpse into the shooter’s politics, and what he wrote stands pretty much in polar opposite to accused El Paso shooter Patrick Crusius, whose own social media accounts indicated support for President Donald Trump and anti-immigrant measures, such as the border wall.”

In response to a Buzzfeed story that read, “Virginia has declared a state of emergency in anticipation of the “Unite the Right” rally anniversary in Charlottesville this weekend,” he wrote: “Kill every fascist.”

As we reported earlier, the shooter in El Paso was immediately labeled a White supremacist in part due to a manifesto he left behind before the mass shooting.

The left jumped all over it blaming Trump and his position on illegal immigration. But the left is going to have a problem blaming Trump and those of us on the right for the Dayton killings.

Betts was killed during the altercation with police.

The Greene County Board of Elections reveals Connor Betts began voting in 2012, and next voted in the Democratic Party Ohio Primary on March 15 of 2016. After voting in the 2016 General Election, Betts later voted in the 2018 Democratic Party Primary on May 8, 2018. Betts voted in a total of 7 elections, including Democratic Primaries.

After finding this information, Big League Politics cross referenced the data with other publicly available information from the Ohio Secretary of State, which confirms his address, polling location, and other voter information.

It is currently unclear what motivated Betts to commit the alleged mass shooting. This is the second mass shooting in 24 hours, the first in El Paso, Texas, that left 22 dead and 24 wounded.
