Ryan Reynolds Backs LeVar Burton To Host Jeopardy following Mike Richards Exit

Badass and star of box office hits “Free Guy,” and “Deadpool 1&2Ryan Reynolds who’s also one of my favorite all time actors has taken a role in endorsing one of my hero’s in life the man himself LeVar Burton and his Campaign To Host ‘Jeopardy!’ Following Mike Richards’ Exit From Role the people running the show is about to pick another replacement, and why not it be someone like Levar? He’s a nice man, and never has been in trouble with the law that I know about, and he’s been someone in the public eye for 40 years. As I also am a fan of his Reading Rainbow show because as a kid I learned to appreciate a good book, and how to read cause of his show. So it’s not cause he was also on Star Trek which I was a fan off also… But this is awesome, and a great endorsement from again another favorite of mines, and someone who’s a big name in movies, and tv.

Also he’s got a kick ass side company called MINT MOBILE which I’m signed up for and have service with. PLUS the prices are insane good, and if you wanna save money I fully back that company. Great service, good people working there, and a place which clearly has owners that care about the clients. No I don’t work for them even tho I wish I did… But the endorsement comes from a client myself who loves the company for how they look out for the clients. And well
Ryan who’s a good dude himself got Rick Moranis to do an add for them, and well if you know me you know how much I love every movie Rick ever did from Strange Brew to Ghostbusters, Spaceballs, and his “Honey I Shrunk the Kids” films.

So with that said on our part in our networks part we fully endorse him also… Hope LeVar gets the gig… He’s a super good choice. Burton has been vying to host Jeopardy! for years, most recently serving as one of a number of celebrity guest hosts, following the passing of longtime host Alex Trebek. Richards was also among the guest hosts whose performance was assessed by Sony Pictures Television in their quest to find a new, permanent host. While he entered talks to assume the mantle at the quiz show earlier this month, resulting difficulties saw him announce he would be stepping down from the role on August 20, after filming just one episode.

His downfall began with the surfacing of lawsuits from his time as an executive producer on The Price is Right, which alleged that he’d made insensitive comments toward, and otherwise discriminated against, models on the show. The final nail in the proverbial coffin was a report that emerged in The Ringer, which resurfaced sexist or otherwise offensive remarks he’d made toward female co-hosts and guests on The Randumb Show, a podcast he hosted between 2013 and 2014.

Richards will continue to work on the series going forward in his role as exec producer. Reynolds’ comment on the Reading Rainbow host’s behalf comes as his Disney/20th Century Studios film Free Guy continues to dominate the box office.
