So Kanye West the big Trump supporter claims that he’s running for President recently, and while much about this is just a joke really I mean not only does he stand no chance at all he can’t even register at this point in most key states. This folks means he’s got ZERO chance of even being placed on the November ballot. Also he’s friends with Trump, and to me this honestly sounds like he’s doing this for promotion like we know Kanye loves to promote Kanye, and this is a big chance to do that when nobody was talking about him. So to me and my theory here is he will eventually go out there, and try to launch a failed online buzz which get him talked about some for a month, and then when it all clears up a bit he will say “He wont run this time cause he can’t due to the timing.” And this will be his way of giving his support to Trump thus giving Trump help with voters who love Kanye, and might still be on the edge on voting for Trump.

Donald Trump is taking on the notion of pal Kanye running to unseat him as president to heart. He has advice for the rapper, especially with his late entry. The President thinks that his officially entering the race could be “interesting.” But he noted that Yeezy has already missed the deadline in a number of states to appear on the ballot. Trump has previously called 43-year-old rapper a “great friend,” and said that he’s interested to see of Kanye follows through on his political aspirations. “He may. It’s very interesting,” the president told RealClearPolitics in a July 7 interview in the Oval Office, saying that Ye has “a real voice.”

Kanye famously paid Trump a very cordial visit to White House visit in Oct. 2018, just before the midterm elections and sporting Trump’s infamous red “Make American Great Again” campaign hat. While Ye might be after his job, the 74-year-old says that Kanye has waited too long to jump in the race and that any effort would just be testing the waters for a 2024 presidential campaign.
“It’d have to be limited to certain states because in some states the deadline has been missed,” Trump said of Kanye’s interest in winning the 2020 presidency. “If he did it, he would have to view this as a trial run for what’s going to happen in four years.” That’s a long time for Kanye to stay serious about entering politics.

Former NBA player, Stephen Jackson — a close friend of the late George Floyd who has been at the forefront of the Black Lives Matter movement following Floyd’s death at the hands of a Minneapolis Police officer, wrote on Instagram that Kanye’s presidential announcement was “clown sh*t.” Actor Jamie Foxx agreed, writing under his comment, “Gottdamn right. Ain’t got time for this bullsh*t.”

Despite an influx of negative reactions, there were a few notable stars who shared their support for Ye’. Tesla founder Elon Musk replied to the rapper’s tweet, writing, “You have my full support.” Shark Tank star, entrepreneur and owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban also tweeted his support for a 2020 Kanye bid.
West criticized both of his potential challengers, President Donald Trump and presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden. While West still expressed some admiration for Trump, calling him “the closest president we’ve had in years to allowing God to still be part of the conversation,” he said he was “taking the red hat off.” He also suggested he’d recently lost confidence in the president. “It looks like one big mess to me. I don’t like that I caught wind that he hid in the bunker,” he said, referring to reports that Trump hid in a White House safe room during recent anti-police brutality protests in Washington, D.C.
As for Biden, West was much more critical: “This man, Joe Biden, said if you don’t vote for me, then you are not black. Well, act like we didn’t hear that? We act like we didn’t hear that man say that? That man said that. It’s a rap.” He later called it “a form of racism and white supremacy and white control” to say all black people need to be Democrats, and accused the party of threatening him and other black people into voting for them: “[T]hat’s what the Democrats are doing, emotionally, to my people. Threatening them to the point where this white man can tell a black man if you don’t vote for me, you’re not black.”
As for actual positions, West said he wanted to put prayer back in schools, that he was against the death penalty and that he would end police brutality. He also stated he was against abortion and spouted the false claim that “Planned Parenthoods have been placed inside cities by white supremacists to do the Devil’s work.”
West also expressed a strong anti-vaccine sentiment, saying, “It’s so many of our children that are being vaccinated and paralyzed… So when they say the way we’re going to fix COVID is with a vaccine, I’m extremely cautious. That’s the mark of the beast. They want to put chips inside of us, they want to do all kinds of things, to make it where we can’t cross the gates of heaven.”
As for his own experience with COVID-19, West said he was likely sick in February and recalled: “Chills, shaking in the bed, taking hot showers, looking at videos telling me what I’m supposed to do to get over it. I remember someone had told me Drake had the coronavirus and my response was Drake can’t be sicker than me!”
