El Salvador government rejects lawmakers' request to visit Abrego Garcia

Rep. Maxwell Frost, D-Fla. speaks to the media about Kilmar Abrego Garcia
at a hotel in San Salvador, El Salvador, Monday, April 21, 2025.

The government of El Salvador on Monday rejected a request from four Democratic lawmakers to visit deported Kilmar Abrego GarciaThe so called lawmakers were trying to arrange a meeting four days after a visit from Sen. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, where Abrego Garcia and his family live.

In an interview with MSNBC from El Salvador, Florida Rep. Maxwell Frost said Monday that he and the others were told that their visit was rejected because they are not in El Salvador "in an official capacity." "We're not giving him," Frost said. "We have more meetings scheduled."

Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran native who has been living with his wife and children in Maryland, was deported in March to El Salvador's CECOT mega-prison despite a 2019 court order barring his deportation to that country due to fear of persecution after the Trump administration claimed he was a member of the criminal gang MS-13. The Trump administration, while acknowledging that Abrego Garcia was deported to El Salvador in error, has said that his alleged MS-13 affiliation makes him ineligible to return to the United States. His wife and attorney have denied that he is an MS-13 member.

An official with the U.S. Department of State said Monday in a status report that Abrego Garcia is in "good conditions and in an excellent state of health." If these liberals spent this much energy, time, and effort helping us USA Citizens instead of criminals from other countries this country would be a better place. But as we know these liberals only care about protecting criminals. From MS-13 to Tren De Aragua and their favorite Pedophiles! These liberals love crime, and well it's clear you vote blue you vote for criminals too.

"The Salvadoran government responded on April 21 that Mr. Abrego Garcia is being held at the Centro Industrial penitentiary facility in Santa Ana," Michael Kozak, a senior bureau official for the State Department, reported. Nice guy this is why they still got him under lock up. Now if you're wondering why he left his HOME Country the reports coming in are that he was on the run from a rival gang which were at the time trying to find him because he had been involved with the death of a rival gang banger in El Salvador. Good gentleman for sure!

The now disgraced Sen. Van Hollen said that Abrego Garcia told him at their meeting that he had been transferred out of CECOT "about eight days" prior.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem robbed!

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was robbed while eating dinner at a downtown Washington, DC restaurant on Sunday night. When asked about the theft at the White House Easter Egg Roll, Noem acknowledged the event but maintained it was not resolved. The Secret Service, which protects Noem, analyzed security video footage from the restaurant and discovered an unknown white guy wearing a surgical mask grab her luggage and depart, according to a law enforcement source who spoke to CNN. The burglar made off with Noem’s driver’s license, prescription, apartment keys, passport, DHS access badge, cosmetics bag, blank checks, and around $3,000 cash.

According to reports the Secret Service has begun an inquiry to track down any usage of Noem’s financial instruments. Noem announced last week that some of the people allegedly responsible for leaking information about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids have been caught. “We have identified two leakers of information here at the Department of Homeland Security who have been telling individuals about our operations and putting law enforcement lives in jeopardy,” she said in a post on X on Friday. “We plan to prosecute these two individuals and hold them accountable for what they’ve done.” “We’re going to continue to do all that we can to keep America safe,” she added.

Noem did not name the individuals who were caught. Tricia McLaughlin, a spokesperson for DHS, told Fox News that the two people will face charges. “We are preparing to refer these perpetrators to the DOJ for felony prosecutions,” the spokesperson said. “These individuals face up to 10 years in federal prison. We will find and root out all leakers. They will face prison time, and we will get justice for the American people.”

Earlier this month, Noem announced that her department had identified some leakers of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations. “I have found some leakers,” she said in an interview with The Epoch Times. “We are continuing to get more. They will be fired, and there will be consequences.” She said that her department used “every tactic,” including administering polygraph tests and examining communications and emails, to find those responsible.

Noem’s announcement last week came after The Los Angeles Times published a story earlier this month detailing an ICE operation that was in the works based on a leaked memo. “The FBI is so corrupt,” she said on X in reference to the story. “We will work with any and every agency to stop leaks and prosecute these crooked deep state agents to the fullest extent of the law.”

The FBI Agents Association dismissed Noem’s allegations, the outlet noted. “FBI Special Agents serve our country every day with integrity, upholding the Constitution to protect the American people from national security and criminal threats,” the group said on X. “The FBIAA fully endorses the following statement released by the Bureau’s press office on February 14,” it said before adding the aforementioned statement.

“The facts show the FBI has been standing shoulder to shoulder with our DHS partners across the country to lawfully support their immigration enforcement efforts. We have thousands of FBI personnel supporting these operations, including special agents embedded on DHS enforcement teams, intelligence analysts, linguists, and professional staff, all of whom are dedicated professionals deserving of respect,” said the bureau.

“The FBI contribution to DHS’s immigration enforcement operations is nothing less than our full partnership, which has resulted in well over a thousand arrests and lawful detentions. Nearly two hundred of these involved felony arrest warrants, including some subjects of FBI investigations with gang affiliations or a nexus to terrorism. We will continue to lean forward with our partners to prioritize the safety of the communities we all serve together,” it added.

“Making unfounded allegations calling FBI agents corrupt is deeply irresponsible and has not been supported by any evidence to date. As always, if violations of policy or the law are properly reported, the FBI will treat this with the utmost seriousness and take appropriate action. Unless evidence of violations is presented, such comments undermine the men and women of the FBI.

The FBI invites DHS to partner in determining the source of any leaked information and working together professionally to ensure the safety and security of ongoing immigration enforcement operations,” the statement continued.
